Hoppers

The one thing I'm sure of is that I'm definitely coming back to Hoppers! The food was amazing. For drinks, I had the Guava Lassi, and it was one of the best lassis I've ever had. For appetizers, we had the mutton rolls. For main dishes, we had the chicken biryani, the hopper, and the chicken curry. Every dish tasted heavenly, and the spices used were exceptional. I've never had Sri Lankan food before, but after Hoppers, it's becoming one of my favorites. Also, I must mention that the waiters were very professional, helpful, and attentive. The ambiance was beautiful with all the Sri Lankan decorations.

First time trying Hoppers and it won't be the last. This place is a great introduction to Sri Lankan food.
The food was outstanding and the beef fry was the star of the dinner. The mutton rolls were the best we've ever had. It would have been nice if the kothu came with a gravy and some chutneys with the string hoppers instead of charging for every little thing.
The drinks were very nice and different from your average cocktails. The service was great and very attentive.

We'd definitely be going back with family and friends. Highly recommended this restaurant.

We opted for the Festive set menu for £48 per person, and were amazed by the quality, variety and selection of dishes. The flavours were outstanding- especially the lamb kottu, and the karis were to die for. The chefs did the well-known Hoppers justice, for sure.

If you’re visiting during the festive period, definitely try out these dishes. The decor and atmosphere were pretty nice, and very clean and presentable. We will endeavour to visit Hoppers again after this great experience.

I had a booking for 7:15PM for which we were seated at 7:30PM. At regular 5 min intervals from 8:30PM onwards the servers kept attempting to clear our plates even though we still had substantial food that we had not finished and we had mentioned multiple times that we were still eating. We had also just ordered another bottle of wine. Then we were informed at 9:05PM that we had kept our table over time and it was meant to have been returned by 9PM even though we had been seated late.

When informing the person who wanted to take the table back of the situation, I had to clarify again that we had been seated late and we were at least entitled to have 15 minutes more. At last, it was conceded we could stay till 9:30PM.

The food was really good, particularly the chicken biryani, mutton rolls and dosas. The dimbula punch was also surprisingly different from typical punches with the inclusion of basil seeds.

However, being rushed out the door due to the restaurant’s own booking issues was not appreciated.

I really enjoyed most of the food. The food arrive very fast, even to fast.. Faster of the drink. Drink selection could be better and drink suppose to arrive before your food. Out of many dish we try i didn't enjoy the pork curry and the roti are dry the rest was very good. My prefer dish the bone marrow and dosa.

Service was polite and we didn't feel rushed. Food was okay, nothing particularly brilliant or terrible. We sat outside which was nice but very small tables for all the dishes. However, I was very glad we sat outside as inside looked very cramped. Be prepared for a looong trip to the toilet that is not accessibility friendly at all, lots of stairs!

I won't come again. The staff was terrible, the food was ok but the portion was small .

I think it's too expensive for what it is, I don't recommend it.

Some of the best food I’ve ever eaten in London. Such a creative and interesting menu, so much so that we couldn’t decide what to order so left it in the hands of our lovely waiter. I can’t say I’ve delved into Brazilian cuisine before but it’s safe to say my eyes have been opened! There is also a very charming sommelier on hand to advise on the wine list and we found her to be very helpful. An absolute must try - can’t recommend enough!

One of the top restaurants we have been so far! Everything is stunning from the moment you entry. All the dishes we have tried are unique and have its own story! Also to mention the Sommelier who perfectly paired wines with every course and explained the reasons behind her choice. The service was amazing through the whole experience. We also had drinks afterwards downstairs in the Maroto bar, which is a new jam. The club looks very sophisticated and classy with professional and welcoming service. It’s very rare to find a place where you can have a combination of amazing food, drinks, entertainment ans service, however, Bossa has exceeded any of our expectations! Definitely will come back ans recommend to visit!

Had an absolutely incredible evening at Bossa restaurant, the staff are so attentive and provide an excellent service. The food was absolutely divine- the scallops are an absolute standout, cooked excellently and accompanied by a delicious sauce. The steak was cooked to perfection and the whole experience was just perfect. Love the feel that you are moving through a journey of food, as the menu is set out as the beginning (starters), middle (mains) and the end (dessert) which provides a really great unique experience that you can really savour as opposed to other restaurants that can sometimes feel “rushed”. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a luxurious evening out!

We chose this restaurant to celebrate our anniversary, and it turned out to be an exceptional choice! The scallops were cooked to perfection, complemented by the delightful tucupi sauce's acidity. The bone marrow melted like beef butter and paired perfectly with tapioca. The crab pastel was a sophisticated take on a beloved Brazilian street food, freshly fried and served with a delightful earthy acai sauce. The pork belly's crispness was a surprise, unlike anything we've experienced in London, matched with the famous feijoada! In addition to the perfect food, the service from Ola and Laís was incredibly warm and attentive, making our night absolutely perfect.

Good experience, nice chips and chicken. I ordered medium spicy, because I cannot eat that spicy foods, and it turns out this level is suitable for me, fortunately!! I love butter with corn.

Visited today and have to mention the negatives. Took over 40 minutes for me to get my food all I ordered was loaded fries. In the end I asked someone what’s going on with my food, 10 minutes later it came I genuinely believe  they forgot about my food and if I didn’t say anything I would been waiting a lot longer.

I can see the negative reviews and looks like I’m not the one who has had this problem!

Nice and healthy I would say.. basic chicken. Better ask with with BBQ sauce. Then they bring chicken dipped in that’s such. Looks and taste better. Quite cheap.

Quite good chicken with interesting sauce, fast. Funny ordering system, you scan qr at the table and choose food in the app. The place can get very loud.

Friendly staff, ordered for take away. The garlic bread was amazing as well as the corn. I’m always taking the spiciest option - the chicken breast was extremely spicy but really tasty!

We have 385 restaurants, 72 of which serve only Halal chicken and are signposted both in the restaurant and online. A small proportion of chicken sold in our other restaurants may also be Halal.

We absolutely love soup noodles and ramen so a visit to Bone Daddies was crucial! We ordered the Tantanmen 2, which consisted of chicken mince, pulled chicken and veg in a chicken broth with noodles. We felt the chicken mince could have been cooked a little longer, but the actual broth was delicious 😋 The dish included a clarence court egg in the broth, which was so good and cooked just right with a slightly runny yolk! We also asked for the Chicken Katsu (can’t go wrong, right?!) but didn’t enjoy it as much as the Ramen. We like Katsu with potatoes and carrots, but this dish came with a whole lot of cabbage 🥴 For starters, we got the Fried Squid and Crispy Chicken Bao, which we both enjoyed.

We came here for dinner and ordered three bao to start including the chashu pork, crispy duck, and fried chicken. They were all so delicious, but my favourite was the fried chicken bao. The kimchi mayo was so delicious and added a perfect amount of heat. We also ordered the tonkotsu and the pork pork chili ramen bowls. I was not a fan of the broth in either of the bowls as they were not overly flavourful or rich, and I thought the noodles were overcooked. I wish we had ordered all bao for dinner instead. Overall, I would not return for their ramen, but I would come back to order more bao.

The Korean wings were excellent sweet with a nice warming heat had the pork traditional ramen, eggs nice and runny, noodles great and the pork succulent with a heart warming broth. All washed down with a few Asahi, music was great, the decor was top notch and the servers were brilliant and very smiley and kind. Would 100% go again.

The food was delectable and I enjoyed the bao, although the fillings were quite salty. If someone in your party is having the bao as their main, like I did, I would suggest asking the server if it can be brought out at the same time as the ramen. Otherwise the bao will come out early.

For the ramen, we thought it was nice that you could pay a little extra and choose unlimited toppings (to an extent). We asked for shredded chicken, but when the ramen arrived, the chicken was absent, so we had to flag someone down. They plopped some pork at our table eventually. Oh well, extra meat is extra meat. Also, at the time of ordering, we had requested for some ingredients to be removed, which was okayed by the server, but there were still remnants left in the ramen. Our reason for asking this was due to food preference, but if it had been due to an allergy, that could have been unfortunate.

I know little mistakes can happen. Overall, it was just an average experience.

The buns very very nice. We tried the salmon, eggplant and chicken and they all had very similar tastes because of the toppings and sauces used. The salmon bun was my favorite. The ramen was nice.

Had dinner there, and we chose to sit outdoor I think it was a mistake, the tables are really squashed together, there was only a very small gap between tables, I could really hear what next table were talking about, and the seats were putting together almost no gap in between the seats behind you.  If you sit indoor the seatings were in a long bench table which is also not very comfortable I would say. Anyway that’s only a small problem. Food is average, nothing special, there are more Ramen places offer better Ramen in central London.  Table is not very clean, when we sat down we then noticed lots of chilli sauce were on the floor where we sat. Waiters/ Waitress are not professional, we were served by a waitress when we had our order, then she disappeared, while other waiters were not giving us any attention, we waited for ages to get our bill, because no one were coming to us or even looking at us, at last I went to the till to ask for the bill. 👎

Due to a change of suppliers our meat is no longer Halal and all fried food is cooked in the same oil.

The chicken was crispy, tender and cooked to perfection😍 we ordered two burgers, chicken tenders, wings and a wrap. The portion sizes were decent and filling. This is a cute lunch spot.

Slim Chickens

I visited Slim Chicken on Saturday. It was crowded with customers. However, we manage to get a seat to dine in. Non-veg served here is halaal. We ordered mix & match 5 & 5 Meal. The slim tenders & wings were crunchy and tasty. However, I found a few tender pieces were not cooked properly. I didn't expect this from Slim Chicken. Crowded customers would be the reason for this to serve faster. Otherwise, everything was good.

They have dine-in and takeaway options as well. They have Tender chicken, Sandwiches, Wings, Salads & Wraps, Sides, and Shakes. Meals are served with Texas toast, seasoned fries, house sauces & a bottomless soda.

A decent place for a quick and tasty lunch if you avoid the peak lunch period and don't want to spend too long there as it seems to be full of kids most of the time so can get a bit noisy. The chicken tenders tasted fresh and was cooked really well (not dry) as were the fries. The seasoning on the chicken can be a tad salty at times so the sauces are a must. Ordering through the kiosk machines was easy and pretty quick, I like the idea of taking a table number and scanning it to your order if you're dining in. Portion sizes are ok for the money you're paying and slightly better than other eateries in the area.

Not the greatest of places I have visited to eat. Not the cleanest either, the toilets were vile oh my daze 🤢

The food wasn't too bad but could be better! Not impressed with the service either as the ladies at the till were not the most efficient I have come across.

I enjoyed the inferno sauce though that came with the it.

The bottomless drink station only had 2choices out of the 5 so wasn't really much to offer.

Great location though, walking distance from Selfridge's and the Selfridge's carpark closes at 10pm so beware! There are other eating outlets available along the road.

As I was in Central London, I decided to continue my search for the best fried chicken possible.

My first impression of Slim Chickens was good - it was busy, with a nice style to the decorations, resembling a 1950s American diner. All the chicken is Halal. Unlike many other chicken eateries, they still have table service rather than the Bluetooth pagers that buzz when your food is ready, which felt nice and a bit old-fashioned. The wait for the food after the drink had arrived was a long one, however.

As always, I order a chicken burger meal with three wings - however, they had run out of wings (it wasn't even the end of the day). I substituted a popcorn flavoured milkshake as a drink instead of the bottomless soft drink that is the default, for an extra two pounds. This was an excellent decision as the milkshake was very good, if a little too sweet.

The staff member was evidently new, and took a great deal of time to work out how to use the till, with no one to help her. What was meant to be a fast, slick operation really wasn't.

Let's get down to the burger - very good in many ways: the brioche bun is superior to normal bread buns in every way - it has more of a dense, bagel-like texture that isn't as fluffy as the bread buns. The chicken had been fried perfectly to a rich brown colour (so many places slightly under fry) , and the spices in the coating were delicious - BUT...

The burger was the size of half a piece of chicken, let alone an actual fillet! (See picture) for a burger that is priced at £6.50, I really did feel short-changed; it was over in a couple of mouthfuls. Very good quality but tiny.

The chips were good enough rather than delicious - warm and less than crisp, and not very plentiful. Overall, with three chicken wings a burger meal would have been £14 with the standard bottomless soft drink, which makes it cost roughly twice what KFC charges at the moment. It's slightly cheaper than other high end chicken diners though.

The size of the burger and the wait for the food (20 minutes) are my only criticisms. I love that they have hand-spun milkshakes - it seems that many chicken restaurants only have soft drinks, and I like a shake with my burger, so they get positive marks there.

If you like good quality chicken, great place only downside is portions are small, staff do not greet customers with a smile and the orders can be mixed (was in my case).

It’s also priced on the high end of what you expect to pay for fried chicken. Customer service needs improving that’s all.

It’s like the ice cream of instagram , great flavours but supper pretty ice cream and you get a lot worth for your money. Edible flowers on top are a unique touch. Cafe itself has a very cool pastel colours and great vibe. Staff is super helpful

For my Muslims it’s Halal. The place was cute and cozy and loved the colour scheme. I had the Doffle which is a donut waffle and it was tasty and filling. The service was lovely and welcoming my only issue was the bubble tea. I’ve tried a lot of bubble tea places enough to know that it wasn’t the best. But overall good vibes

I walked for 30 min to find bubble tea. Most of the places were closed, and those that were opened had very rude manner to treat customers.
I was so sad to find this place was also closed, but  a manager Sergio did magic for me.

Great atmosphere, lovely service and very messy burgers!

We asked for the ‘Ari Gold’ Cheeseburger and ‘Lambshank Redemption’ Burger. One thing we can certainly say is that the burgers were not dry at all 👌🏽 Absolutely SMOTHERED in sauce and the patties were SO moist 🤤 both burgers were tasty, but the cheeseburger did have a smokey sauce that we weren’t a fan of. The Cheeseballs were good, but we would have preferred them to maybe have a little something more, like chillies or coriander. Lovely place for a quick bite to eat but avoid if you are on a first date! 😂
P.s. note that the chicken is not halal, only the lamb and beef for us Muslims 😊

#invite @pattyandbun now serves Halal options in all of their stores! If you’re visiting then you need to go to either Kingly Court or James St because their Beef is Halal, and their Ari Gold Cheeseburger (£10.50) is a solid contender for one of the best Halal burgers you can have bang in the middle of Central London!
They also do vegan options which taste incredibly similar to real meat!
Ask your server when visiting what the Halal options are because not all are Halal!

Really good quality burger. The bougie burger had great flavor. Hot chicken sandwich is pretty spicy. Both sandwiches were good but a bit small for the price. Fries with curds and gravy were good but the fries were probably frozen. They would have been better if they were a thick hand cut chip.

After 3 years we came back to this famous burger joint in St Christopher Place. Nothing has changed and staff had welcomed us with broad smile. Smokey Robinson was delicious and melted in my mouth. Wife had chicken burger. Overall it was a pleasant meal.

Nice spot to have a burger.  The atmosphere is very laid back.  There is ambient music in the background but the good thing is that it's not so loud that you can't hear conversations.  The burger was nice, not too dry which is great.  I had mine with the salted caramel milkshake which hit the spot.  The staff are friendly and they don't hover around but now and then ask if you are okay, a delicate balance they seem to have nailed down.

This restaurant is located off the water so the views are quite lovely. The staff was very welcoming and friendly and the atmosphere was very warm and cosy very inviting. Food was incredible I mean it was just fantastic the portions was large and satisfying. Me and my wife had the tiger prawns as starter and and b&l combo for 2 as mains. We drove to b&l because there is pay & display parking only 1 min away

Marugame Udon is one of the nice and cheap places in London. I enjoy their food and take advantage of the cheap pricing.
Udon taste really good. You can have small sides like gyoza or tempura. They also have soda pop and other drinks.
Pretty much self service. Still people are nice there. But be careful with your payment. Before you pay check your order with the cashier person. Sometimes they charge for extra food that you didn't take. I don't think they do it intentionally but they do it. It happens to me twice and I have been there twice.
Other than that this place is quite good.

Stumbled upon with a friend and decided to try it. Loved the ease of their ordering system. Paying and then finding a table.
It was clean, well stocked and run seamlessly.
Food was really tasty. Thick noodles, soft, pull apart beef, super soft boiled egg and broth.
Their tempura 🍤 was gorgeous, light, crispy and not saturated in oil.
Would happily go back again, wish they'd open one closer to home!

Really nice and quick. I love the udon and deep fried bites. They’re newly open so they’re still sorting things out. For instance, we tried their soft serve ice cream and they weren’t labelled. One tasted like peppermint/toothpaste and was green and the other was plain vanilla we think because we couldn’t taste anything.

came here for the grand opening and was very pleased! staff were super friendly and helpful in explaining the ordering system. place is overall very tidy and clean. even though it was quite busy, i didn’t feel rushed to finish and took my time. food was very fresh and delicious! most importantly everything is well priced. i will be coming again to try the other dishes.

This is not a “restaurant” but a quick self service eatery. As soon as you go in, you are shown your trays and can order mains, starters, drinks, sauce & desserts from the counters. The noodles are fresh & are cooked in front of you - i went for the Kake noodles, prawn tempura, veg gyoza, pumpkin cakes & veg tempura. The noodle soup was brilliant - the starters were average but still good. Very clean & the staff are super friendly! I would come here again & recommend if you are looking for something quick & reasonably priced.

If you’re trying to keep up with your healthy regime during your stay in London, you must pay Simple Health Kitchen a visit! Even if  just for one meal. They serve tasty & nutritious dishes together with handmade drinks of all kinds. The customer service is of high quality, with critically clean and welcoming staff, especially Ezerem, who made us feel very at home. I strongly suggest you spend a meal of your day in this restaurant. 10/10!!

Popped in with a couple of colleagues having seen the positive reviews on Deliveroo. Definitely a healthy option hidden amongst the other fast food!! Food was fresh and tasty, service was good and restaurant was clean. I opted for peri peri chicken (double meat) with pesto cauliflower, kale and brocoli.

The man with the beard was rude and took someome order before me. Food portions are small and prices are high. £11 for a protein box.

Friendly staff with knowledge of the food. Didn't think of having to eat ice cream with a knife, but first time trying lebanese ice cream. Pistachio ice cream was better than any of the others I've tried. 4 stars as it's very/quite pricey.

Lovely little spot for trying Lebanese ice-cream. Went for the rose flavour in a Baklava cup which was lovely. The ice cream has a lovely texture and taste and you will need to cut it as it is  quite stretchy. While quite pricey, the quality and taste is exceptional as a treat :)

Delicious Lebanese ice cream spot with unique flavours you won’t find at other places. We tried the Achta & Crushed Pistachios, Halva, and Date flavours and they were all really tasty. I recommend trying these for sure. The girl working there was really friendly and gave good recommendations.

4 stars because the worker is nice and the flavours mainly tasted good. Not much seating available as it’s a tiny store. The cup size for large is same as other cups it seems, the cup was small although you’re paying more for more scoops. Which makes no sense.
Recommend the date flavour, probably a nice dessert once in a while. Prices on higher side.

The only place in London I've managed to find mastic ice cream, and it was absolutely delicious. It's very difficult to find ice cream parlours that have ice cream with the 'stretchy' texture, and this place was spot on. Great variety of other Lebanese treats too!

Everything on our menu is suitable for a Halal diet.

Haven’t been here for a few years and disappointed with some of the dishes which have changed in taste.

Wonderful service from the staff across the board, delicious food and great atmosphere. Went with a bigger group (12) for a friends birthday and the order was perfect and even got some prawn crackers on the house! Went here 2 days ago before my movie starts. Ordered beef red curry, rice and chicken strew. Chicken is very delicious while beef is a bit too salty. So I have to mix them otherwise I cannot finish the beef. Maybe next time I will order 2 small plates rather than a big curry.

Great attentive staff, the rating is due to some dishes been not so fresh in my opinion. The Calamari starter is great, chicken satay nothing special to be honest. The crispy duck in the noodles didn't taste very fresh. The staff really are very friendly and attentive however but the food can be improved.

One of the 10 Thai specific Busaba Eathai restaurants in London, this is conveniently located just off Oxford street, close to Selfridges.
As one would expect from one of Alan Yau's chains (Alan is the creator of Michelin star awarded Hakkasan and very popular Wagamama), the place looks exotic and the dim-lit atmosphere makes it feel cosy.
The large squared tables leave space for all the possible dishes one may wanna try.
The service is usually quick as well, as it was this time, and the staff friendly.
The now renowned ginger flavoured Thai calamari were tasty (some of my family members could swear they are unrivaled).
Probably one of the best dishes are the Ho Fun noodles (even though they are vegetarian, you won't believe the taste of these).

Most of our chicken dishes are halal! Just check with the manager on duty to find out which ones.

I work local to the Baker Street branch of Honest and been here many times over the last 2 years. I do tend to take it away back to my desk but have often sat in. The highlight are these burgers and why I go back again and again. The.best.burgers.in.London. Truly-- I've tried!  Love that I can order medium rare and that's what I actually receive on my plate. Also love that I can have half chips and half salad with my order.  Thank you Honest Burger team!
I've eaten at a few of the other Honest- -Kings Cross, South Bank, Soho, Covent Garden...and this one has definitely had the best service.

The food is nice 5* prob one of the best burgers I’ve had in London.

One of the waitresses is weird - I asked for a soda water, she said “Oh, darling we don’t have soda water, but I’ll get you some sparkling water”. Eh??

I also asked for no side but still got a full bowl of chips.

Delightful little place. We stumbled across it and very glad to have stepped in! There was room, decent selection, very good portions, decent prices considering the area and delicious milkshakes. Genuinely couldn’t finish the fries! One to bring visitors too!

The waitress messed up the whole order. We ordered two burgers but only one came to our table after 30 minutes. It wasn’t even what we ordered.

The waitress said one didn’t go through but the other wasn’t even what we ordered. They also use these tablets to send the orders to the kitchen. How hard is it to get an order correctly? We weren’t offered anything for the inconvenience. She said that we can leave or put another order in. Pathetic.

How is it possible to mess up a simple order like that when you’re also using tablets where a trained monkey could put an order through.

This is unheard of. I’m very disappointed by the lack of accountability for staff in this establishment. It’s like the wild west. Honest Burgers, your service is a disaster. Please install kiosks and get rid of all your staff.

The visit was on April 30th afternoon.

The selection of standard burgers, including vegetarian and vegan options, is good as well as changing specials that offer interesting new ideas.

We went for lunch on a Saturday and the restaurant seemed a little unprepared but once we were seated we could order some food and drinks.

The burgers we had were very nice and well prepared but the rosemary chips they came with on this occasion weren't great. About a quarter of the portion was overcooked scrappy bits of potato. Shame.

Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area but not one to visit specially.

All of the chicken in our restaurants is halal. If you would like to see our supplier’s halal certificate please ask your server when you arrive. Halal products are stored separately with strict processes in place to stop cross-contamination. Halal chicken items are handled with separate utensils and gloves. Fried halal chicken burgers and wings do not share fryers with any non-halal items. Grilled halal chicken breast burgers are cooked on a reserved area of the grill separated by a grill divider. We do not offer halal beef at any of our restaurants.

We’ve been wanting to visit Honest Burgers for a while now, and finding out from @halal_chronicles chronicles that the Bond St branch is halal gave us the perfect excuse (thanks guys!)

Honestly, the sides were ah-mazing 🤤 we asked for Onion Rings and the the BBQ Chicken Wings. I’m not sure if the wings were BBQ as it tasted more like a mild buffalo sauce was used... nonetheless, delicious! The onion rings were alsolutely massive and drenched in the most mouth-watering batter 😍🤤 We loved them! Now, on to the burgers. Naimul ordered the Chicken Burger and ordered the Juma Burger for me. The former was average at best, while the latter was quite unique. The Juma Burger is only available for a limited time at the Bond St branch; it consisted of saffron mayo and fennel and red cabbage slaw. I feel like it confused our tastebuds 😂 on a whole, both burgers were quite dry and disappointing. However, the Rosemary Chips were great!

Small and very nice place, nice decor and welcoming staff. Great burgers (chose the “Chili”) and fair prices. Would definitely come again!

Burger was tasty, fries with rosemary are my favourite (tasted like the ones baked at home), “botanic garden” drink made me change my future Gin cocktail and the whole environment is inviting.
Being a sweet tooth, not having a dessert was not I expected, but overall this place is a must stop-by.

The decor is beautiful! I think the menu is a bit limited and it seems a bit pricey, but nonetheless, the food was very tasty + filling. Very friendly staff. It's very nice to walk into, the back street would never allow you to assume something so beautiful is hidden inside. Literally like a cave of wonders!

The venue itself was great looking, very spacious but down lots of stairs. Some chairs are quite low and not log of legroom under some tables. Delicious smells. Service was good. Our group had pre ordered so when we were ready food started coming out. Everything I ate was delicious and I tasted other dishes. All lovely. Cons - I found the food expensive, 12% service charge added and only 2 very small ladies cubicles. However I would go again  to try some other dishes. Great entertainment with bellydancers who invited diners to dance with them. Had a great evening overall. I have posted a few pics of food selection but we had lots more.

Amazing restaurant with great decorations. The food has been spectacular, we have eaten many dishes of Arabic, Lebanese and Moroccan influences, with intense and very tasty textures and flavors. This place offers a good variety of very tasty, eastern food.
The fattoush salad was one of the best I ate so far in London.
All the dishes have been nicely prepared and decorated. The serving time was adequate and the staff nice.
Prices are slightly expensive since the amount of food you get is less than expected.
Apart from that, it is a great place to enjoy amazing food in a nice location.

Acacus Libyan Restaurant & Shisha

Honestly, after traveling around Morocco, and also having friends of Libyan descent I was so looking forward to trying the food. Ive had bakbaka before but thought it would have been better here. Soup was good, the bakbaka needed more sauce and flavor, it was more of just a regular pasta in sauce than the traditional Libyan dish. Octopus couscous was okay, the couscous was good but octopus very rubbery. Service was extremely slow, but honestly I felt bad because they seemed very understaffed especially in the kitchen and the workers were really nice. Hopefully they can improve in the future and the restaurant will be better

We visited this authentic Libyan restaurant, food was amazing, Lamb falling off the bone.
And seabass so much flavour, Great customer service, very welcoming, friendly staff with a chill and relaxed atmosphere, highly recommended. Will visit again.

Chicken tagine was divine. Full of flavour, tender and juicy. My friend got the lamb which was also great! Highly recommend this place.

Came here with friends for shisha and desserts.
Everything was reasonably priced and the atmosphere was very nice and chill, in a very nice area. We sat outside but staff was attentive and ensured we were sufficiently heated and warm. The baklava we tried was super amazing, and the mint tea here was flavourful and just what we needed on a cold night and after a heavy meal.
The icing on the cake for our experience here was our interaction with the staff and the owner, Khalid! Very pleasant people to deal with and definitely made our night. You can tell they put their all into their service. Will definitely be back :)

This is the 3rd time this has happened in a year. The staff forgot to put a item in the bag. TODAY they forgot to give me my drink for the mighty bucket. Previously they forgot a item or so.
Unfortunately this is my local KFC and I love friend chicken and eat at least 2 or 3 times a month.
I try to call them but phone never works.
I've never bothered to go back and complain.
This time I'm annoyed.. how can this happen 3 times in a year!!!

Great branch, loads of seating up and downstairs. Food arrived promptly and accurate. Staff are also really friendly which adds a nice touch. Seating area is kept relatively clean and tidy. Toilet facilities available. One of the better branches! 🍗

Francesca represented amongst the highest levels of customer service that I've experienced that would even put the fancy restaurants to shame. He was very friendly, asked how my food was and if I need anything further. On my way out, he held the door open for me. A very welcoming service and amazing experience. Will definitely be back again!

No forks visible, have to ask for ketchup and mayonnaise, these should all be visible on the normal storage facility customers side.

We went here looking for halal options. That was all to it. It was dirty and unkempt
The trash was overflowing out of the bins since the staff was not bothered or they were just short on the help. The tables were greasy and had bits of food left from previous customers.  We sprayed our sanitiser just to be able to sit while others looked not so amused by our OCD..lol

HFA has certified KFC's products in these stores, and the store environments, as halal. KFC has also ensured that the halal certified chicken would also meet the rigorous animal welfare standards employed in the UK, and has consulted leading animal welfare groups about this. KFC insists that all poultry is stunned before slaughter. HFA allows the use of a technique called 'stun-to-stun' - a pain free process that makes the animal insensible to pain and suffering. A verse is also recited from the Quran at the point of slaughter by an appropriate person and the poultry will not come into contact with non-halal meat at any point in the supply chain. KFC only buys high quality, Grade A, farm-assured chicken from trustworthy suppliers, and this will not change.

Upscale Indian dishes from the southwest coast using fish and coconut

Trishna @trishnalondon is one of few halal Indian Michelin stared restaurants in London and has been on my list for a long time. They offer a decent lunch bites menu, where 2 dishes £19 per person, 3 for £24, 4 for £29 and 5 for £34. I ordered a total of 6 dishes which are the following, plus lamb chops from the la carte menu for £18.

Paneer tikka anardana [fried onion, mint, corn & pomegranate chat]
Punjabi vegetable samosa chat [chickpea masala, tamarind, sweet yoghurt]

Andhra lamb masala [curry leaf, coastal spices]

First of all, there was a lot of food and the portions where great, I was very pleased with the amount of food that arrived, I was very well fed and stuffed after lunch. I have to say I was expecting more for a Michelin stared restaurant, apart from the lamb chops nothing stood out or really made an impression. The lamb chops where very thick and very good, cooked well and Burnt on the outside not dry, and very juicy and moist inside infused with a tandoori flavour a very good piece of meat here. 
Venue wise, the space is small and similar to a cafe in shoreditch, I was expecting better from the decor and the service was rather average for a one star Michelin. Booking was required and we were shown to out table at 1.45pm straight away. I just felt the staff where slight unattentive. Each meal was introduced when brought to the table as standard by a restaurant with a Michelin Star. 
The total bill was under £70 which is very good considering it is a Michelin starred restaurant. However, after leaving I noticed that they charged me for 2 dishes per person and not 3. 😂😃 Full review will be posted on www.halalfoodguy.co.uk

Probably the best Indian I’ve ever been to. I normally not big fan of Michelin, as it means the portions are small and the look is more important than the flavor. Over here, it’s not the case portions are a perfect size and food was exceptional. The staff was amazing, to start at the door all the way to our table. We ordered almost everything (yes, everything, even the waiter was surprised). And there was nothing disappointing (beside two desserts out of the 4).

Food was delicious, staff were great and ambience was lovely. Price was reasonable.

Just didn’t give a 5 star as I don’t think it blew us away. Have tried a few Michelin star Indian restaurants as part of a recent fad and definitely had better. Not to say that the food wasn’t great, just not a revolution of the palates.

Desserts were surprisingly good though - really liked the Rhubarb and Pistachio ice cream. The ginger ale mix was also a interesting twist.

Wonderful lunch at Trishna given the tasty food, relaxing dining environment & excellent hospitality of servicing staff. Food was not overly spicy but still rich in flavours. The lightly curry flavoured fried squid & shrimps were good, minced duck skewer was very flavourful & juicy. The main course lamb was cooked in rich sauce with the meat almost melting in mouth. Very good value lunch & high standard Indian dishes.

One of the best dining experiences. We had a 5 course tasting menu and really enjoyed it! The food not only tastes amazing, but looks like a piece of art too. Not to mention the service we received was excellent.

The service is impeccable. The wait staff are friendly and helpful, but also know when to leave you alone to enjoy company of the person you're with, and the meal itself.

I wouldn't say the food is worthy of a Michelin. The lamb curry is very ordinary. Probably had better in Tooting to be honest. I won't be rushing back.

Great selection of wines.

Our chicken, lamb and goat is Halal. There is no pork on the menu and we prepare separately to non-Halal ingredients to avoid cross-contamination. Alcohol is served.

Food: The food was amazing! N ordered the Mozarella Potato Pancakes which came with roasted veg, and for the first time ever he actually ate the broccoli 😂 AND said it was yum! I asked for a Full English Breakfast (clearly playing it safe) which was delicious, but I wish I branched out as everything looked so tasty! The Indian Breakfast was also fantastic; it was actually quite spicy. But guys, the best thing has got to be the Karak Chai!

We've been here a few times and it never fails to disappoint. The menu is extensive with a lot of different options including some amazing fusion dishes. All the dishes seem to have a little something special that just makes them taste quite unique and simply delicious! Both the sweet and savoury items on the menu are a must try as are the fresh juices. Family owned and run which makes it warm and homey. Worth stopping by for sure...

Really delicious pancakes and friendly efficient service. If I'd been able to get the waffles we visited for this would have been 5* but they had a limited menu that day as they were down a chef. Otherwise really good 👍

Nice little coffee place with plenty of outdoor sitting for the location. Lots of initial potential given the really lovely looking cakes they have on display, super decorated and with some pretty fancy complex shapes, as can be seen from my the pics. However, the chocolate cake while pretty good, was much better looking than the taste. The crepe with Nutella and strawberries was okay, but the cappuccino and espresso we had were quite bad, especially the cappuccino, like as of burnt coffee beans, overly hot and watery, not creamy at all unlike what it should be. Let's just basically say they really have to work on their coffee.

I really enjoyed my meal at Kula Cafe, London. The flavor was excellent and the service surpassed my expectations. My parents who are picky eaters loved the Chapati and pancakes and loved it!! Will definitely visit when I am in London again.

Such a great experience had the most fluffiest pancakes ever. Great price for the the quality and quantity of food you receive. I’m recommending this place to all friends and family would definitely be coming back to explore the menu more! I had 4 pancakes, loads of berries and maple syrup for only £9.90. 10/10

This was the single best dining experience I have ever had. Each and every dish was of an incredible quality and contained flavours the likes of which I had never even fathomed to be possible.

With the wide array of dishes on offer, along with the impeccable service and incredible ambiance, this is more than just a meal and is truly an experience. It was worth every penny and I hope to return again very soon.

Totally in love with the new Chotto Matte branch in Marylebone. Me and my friends had an amazing experience, the food was beyond our expectations and the service was absolutely spot on! We loved how our waiter Lukas explained the journey behind their new cocktail menu, absolutely a great replacement waiting for Soho refurbishment! Can’t wait to be back.

I'm a big fan of the original restaurant so I was looking forward to trying out this new one.

Service was attentive. Was underwhelmed by the bar area tho for pre dinner drinks.

Food was as good as I expected, some really nice dishes and great flavours.

Personally tho it isn't as good as the Soho one.

Just had lunch in Chotto Marylebone and the only word I can think of to describe it is FABULOUS. Good, service, atmosphere etc etc we’re superb. I cannot recommend highly enough.

I have been a fan of Chotto for years and have been anticipating the launch of Marylebone. I managed to get a table on the opening weekend. The restaurant looks beautiful (it is similar to soho, but with darker colours) we tried a few of the new dishes which we enjoyed, especially the truffle prawn dish. Overall we had a great experience and will be back again.

Our chicken, beef and lamb are all halal. However, please note our Japanese wagyu dishes are not halal.

I came to Ishtar for a birthday dinner with 11 friends and had such a fun celebration. Arriving whilst a man / woman duo musicians singing just set the tone to a wonderful evening.  Our crazy group danced the night away.

I loved it so much that I brought a friend of mine to sample more from their delicious menu. We had hummus served with warm bread with toasted sesame to wet our appetite. My friend loved her goat cheese salad on a bed of rocket salad. I came back specifically for the octopus and it certainly delivered…! My friend loved her mixed grilled with a hot salsa and I chose the grilled poussin served with perfectly grilled vegetables and tasty purple cabbage salad. The crumble to finish was scrumptious. The meal was so good I’d like say a huge thank you to the chefs and kitchen staff. Friends from the previous celebration will be bringing their partners and friends. We really can’t wait to come back.

Amazing experience! A very nice venue and the food and service was exceptional! Loved all the dishes we ordered and the mixed grill meat was tender and tasty cooked to perfection. On top of that there is a really nice bar downstairs with live music. Highly recommended if you are craving for good Turkish food and venue :)

We came here for a celebratory reason and we were thoroughly happy with the overall experience. Bilal, our host, was stellar and really courteous. The food also was outstanding and looked as good as it tasted. The desserts also were perfect for the night. At one point the staff got one of our starter/appetiser wrong but they quickly corrected it when we told them about the error. They gave us the right item and also gave the same dish for free for the trouble caused. Overall we loved the ambience, food and service and will recommend this place anytime.

The food here definitely is lovely just as the staff, a little on the pricier side but a good place for a special occasion. My friend and I were very happy and thankful to the staff who presented her birthday treat with a full song from themselves! Really good service during quieter times and food with flavour

We had heard good reviews about Kibele online so we thought we’d give it a try!

I mean, the only thing we really enjoyed in terms of food was the Diet Coke...for starters we ordered Kalamar (calamari) and Carides (grilled prawns). The Kalamar was very elasticy and the breadcrumbs just...fell off? The Carides wasn’t the most flavourful either. I ordered the Mix Grill, which was probably the best thing we got. The adana kebab and lamb chop were nice, but the chicken cubes were dry. The lamb shank was completely tasteless, although it did fall off the bone quite well. However, the restaurant did have really pretty decor and a beautiful harp at the front that is occasionally played during dinner, which creates a very nice atmosphere. The service was good.

Really high quailing food, super service and relaxed ambience. Highly recommend you to try!

We had a lamb dish which was one of the best cooked lambs we ever had along with the chicken shish which was again grilled to perfection.

Cocktail for desert was an espresso martini and again was up there with the best I have tasted to date.

Staff were incredibly attentive!

We had the ‘just the 2 of us’ to share, including lamb skewer, chicken& lamb shish, lamb cutlets, chicken wings, chicken skewer, served rice, salad. We shared within three of us and we were so full.

We had the pistachio baklava with the pistachio ice cream on the top- it’s so creamy and yum!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Kibele Restaurant and Bar and was blown away by the entire experience. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed with a warm and friendly atmosphere, and the live music added to the ambiance. The cabaret shows were top-notch and truly added to the overall entertainment value of the evening.

But the real star of the show was the Mediterranean cuisine. The mezzes were absolutely delicious, with a variety of flavors and textures that kept me coming back for more. And the desserts were equally amazing - I couldn't resist trying a few different options.

Overall, I highly recommend Kibele Restaurant and Bar for anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience. The food, entertainment, and atmosphere are all top-notch and make for a truly memorable evening.

Cute little dessert place, which is very busy all the time. There is limited seating due to the size of the restaurant. Food is all presented impeccably and very aesthetically pleasing. Ordered two types of sweet french toast, they’re both tasted great, very sickeningly sweet. The pistachio Spanish latte was really nice, after adding the coffee it wasn’t too sweet. I would definitely recommend if you have a sweet tooth! Very Instagram worthy.

We ordered the pistachio and tiramisu cold drinks and the pistachio one was honestly one of the best drinks I have ever tried! Definitely recommend it! Both French Toast dishes were tasty but overly sweet and too filling (we weren’t able to finish both). Overall, it was a nice experience because of its environment and drinks, but we weren’t too excited about the dishes.

I love their coffee and french toast. Affordable and big servings. I just don’t like that we were asked to move by a male staff from our table to the next because they prioritised a middle eastern couple, and they didn’t even ask in a nice way and no thank you or appreciation.

Food was great, tasty and decent size. Hot drinks were overpriced, im not paying £6.50 for a decorated hot chocolate. And the service was quite bad, the guy who served me did not listen to me a number of times. Asked for the sweet dish last but brought it first, then brought out the breakfast dishes and they came with no salmon. Apart from that the food was good

Not much impressed! Heard a lot about them but the pepperoni pizza had very less pepperoni and too much tomatoe sauce. Mojito was not good at all. Interior decor was good, staff was helpful and friendly, and Pistachios French Toast were OK so three stars. Overall not good value to money.

French fries very oily, no salt. Had to ask for salt and ketchup. The ketchup was cheap and sugary alternative to Heinz.
Shawarma wrap had very very crispy bread, it seemed as though the bread was heated for a long time. Not your usual shawarma. Fatouch and Lebanese spicy salad mediocre.

Kebab khash khash and ordinary kebab ok.

Verbal fight in kitchen between employees not that great in front of customers.

Reaks of shisha tobacco not great if your non-smokers and if you have a family with young children.

They have very good shisha we love and hot drinks and snacks I love spending time there and the stuff especially Adrian and Carla wow the are so nice and hard working always serving non stop and taking care of customers

I love this place for a quick and tasty lunch.  The food tastes fresh and the portion sizes are spot on, a lovely place to visit and sit outside enjoying the atmosphere.  I'd definitely recommend.
