375° Chicken 'n Fries

I wanted to stop by here because I heard it was highly reviewed. We ordered the Buffalo-Honey Chick n’ Pop, the Classic Chicken Sandwich, and the Triple Truffle Sandwich. The space was very clean and there were a few seats to enjoy your meal. I do wish that the Chick n’Pop had more sauce on the chicken as from photos I expected a lot more, however, it was still delicious and full of flavour. I wanted to try something different which is why I went with the Triple Truffle Sandwich, which was so tasty! I would recommend this sandwich if you’re looking to try something a little different. I wish that the portion for the Chick n’Pop was more and the buns were slightly bigger on the sandwich’s. However, our meals were still fantastic and we did enjoy all the different flavours! The staff was also very kind and offered suggestions.

375° Chicken is a great munch spot! They recently changed their chicken supplier to a halal supplier. Their bacon is fried away from the chicken so there's no cross contamination! Their Nashville Hot Sandwich was certainly flavorful but not spicy at all, well for me! Everything else was on point and delicious!  Their chicken pops had several flavors to choose from, I had sweet chili and their chick n waffle hit different. It wasn’t a plain old waffle but a cheddar and scallion and it sure was delicious! All of their dishes were very crispy and were really big in portion. The truffle-Parmesan Fries were very creamy and to my liking. That went well with the vanilla shake they offer, more flavors to come!

This quaint shop is the perfect place to go for your fried chicken craving - it's just so good. Their chicken sandwiches are so flavorful and actually spicy. Their chicken bites are also delicious and when paired with a milkshake, is probably the perfect meal.

Ordered plain popcorn chicken with a side of their honey buffalo sauce. The chicken is always good quality and crispy from here!! They have a lot of options to choose from on their menu, definitely a spot to try!

I ordered the buffalo honey chick n pop with fries. It tastes exactly like its description: buffalo sauce and honey. I know that you might be confused because, duh, it's in the name. Personally though, I just felt like the honey flavor was a little overpowering with buffalo sauce. It was well-priced though, and I would return.

Our chicken is Halal. There is one item with bacon on the menu but it’s stored and cooked in a completely separate area to ensure no cross-contamination.

Whether you’re trying Turkish cuisine for the first time in life or a regular lover of these flavors this is definitely the place to be! A hidden gem for sure but once you come here you will never want to eat anywhere else! Loved it ! The ambience, the taste was so fresh and the service also very good! I had all vegetarian and it was out of this world !!

I like to go with friends to this restaurant with my warmest recommendations. I visit this restaurant often. I get very good feedback from my friends. The the cooking is yummy and the crew is efficient and cooperative. always when we visit this place we have a cheerful evening.  I warmly recommend this restaurant.

This site is my first choice restaurant.  Of all restaurants I know I like it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to visit this restaurant. when  I want to go to a delicious supper, this is the place that comes right away to my head. splendid and   food and a rich cuisine.trained team, and nice atmosphere. Undeniably one of the best restaurants in New York City! Fresh, Full of flavor and straight forward. White bean salad was absolutely amazing, so was the Lamb Kebab, Chicken Kebab and everything else.Decor is inviting and cozy. Service was kind and on point. Did not have time to try their deserts but will definitely try the next time.

Afghan Kebab House

Afghan Kebab House was great. We came here for lunch since they have outdoor seating. The waiter was very nice and the food was delicious! I had the Kabuli palau with chicken which tasted really good with the yogurt sauce.  The pumpkin bolonee and dough were also good!  The baklava was amazing!

Intimate dining area, open kitchen and very interactive owner/chef. The ambience is that of visiting a friend's home for a really nice, authentic Egyptian meal. The food was phenomenal and we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly.

I've been a patron here for years.  I get the chicken kebab every time and it never fails to be delicious.  The atmosphere is excellent and it is terrifically quiet.  I often go for business meetings.  Can't miss flavor.

The Halal Guys is famous for their combo (Beef/Chicken) over rice platters. So of course, I had to try it myself from the cart at 53rd/6th. 

First, I will say that when you come here, you will see a long line. However, the line goes very quick and the service is also quick. The food was very tasty and flavorful. The rice and meat was cooked right.  Also, the portions of the regular platter are very generous as it also comes with pita bread. I personally love to have white, hot, and BBQ sauce on my platter. It's worth noting that the hot sauce that they serve is probably the hottest sauce I've ever tried from any place. I mean one drop you can feel the heat. 

The cost for the regular combo platter is $9 as of this writing. To be fair, the price is pretty reasonable considering the demand for the food here. And of course, because it's New York. 

Overall, definite pay them a visit. Good food, generous portions, and reasonable prices.

We always make it a point to stop at The Halal Guys at least once every time we visit NYC. It never disappoints. I would caution, go VERY easy (or skip) the hot sauce. The white sauce is incredible. Get extra. You’ll thank me later!

This is almost like an NYC institution and a must-eat street food. Surprisingly there wasn’t a queue at all when I went. 

Insanely good gyro. The white sauce is to die for and never underestimate the hot sauce - it’s insanely spicy despite it being a small packet. The basmati rice was very fragrant, and the beef and chicken well marinated and juicy. Simple and good. Will definitely eat again if I’m in NYC.

After several years tried this place out again. Maybe it was the go to halal cart years ago but now the taste is bland and it’s just a famous name. Much better halal places in the city. This food is plain and terrible.

It's impressive how this place has changed thru the years.  I remember years ago lines use to be snaking around the corner to the next block and still is that's ubitk the pandemic but now I'm sure they make more sales with their institution of the delivery game.  They know have a seperate cart with an employee just to handle deliveries and it's filled with drinks so they have learned to use the app delivery system and have upgraded for the present time.  That is what makes a buinsess booming to adapt as times and people change and adapt to new things.

A taste of Turkey, along with Mediterranean options, awaits at this traditional spot with a patio.

Great place. I reserved a seating for two but didn’t need to since i went during the weekday.
Food was great and great portions.

This place is my number one restaurant.  Of all restaurants I know I favor it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to visit this restaurant. everytime  I I need a good supper, this restaurant comes straightaway to my mind. good and many types of  food and a rich menu.generous staff members, and great mood. And very important, the cost is reasonable. I suggest this restaurant with no hesitation.

Amazing food and great service. We were visiting NY from Calgary, Canada. I read reviews of this place online and decided to go for lunch. It was worth the walk. The servers were attentive and courteous. Would definitely recommend to friends visiting NYC.

You can find a great variety of mouth watering dishes in Turkish cuisine, which is mostly the heritage of Ottoman cuisine. It is the mixture and refinement of Central Asian, Middle Eastern and Balkan cuisines. Therefore it is impossible to fit Turkish cuisine into a short list.

This is one of my go to restaurants for delivery as well as for out of town guests who only know Turkish food as Gyros. Aba is one of the oldest Turkish restaurants in the hood, and I’m writing this because I hope they continue to get customers and stay open. They are wonderful and aside from having delicious food have never screwed up my takeout order, and were taking over a decade of living in the neighborhood. While everything is delicious, my fav is: Lamb Adano, meatballs, Sheppard salad, the egg plant app, and the liver. Yup, that’s right liver. It’s really some of the very best liver in the city and that’s despite the fact I usually do not like liver. If anyone tells me they like liver, I take them here. Def give them a try and continue to support them. Currently they have outdoor seating. Also, this establishment is BYOB. They are super nice about it as well.

Clean and well-kept place. Went there late after 10 p.m. and they were still open. Ordered the sampler of four vegetarian cold appetizers. Hummus was a bit salty but nice otherwise. Different than Jordanian hummus that I am used to.

I've tried various beef, chicken and fish dishes and all are great.  They also have yummy rice and soup.   It can get busy so it's helpful to call your order ahead.  They also have marinated kabob that you can take home and BBQ too.  There's a few parking spots in the back and I can usually find one.

Really good place. Very generous portions and amazing prices. Definitely loved it and will be returning when I can.

I eat in this great spot many times a year! This is my favorite restaurant to dine.  I go there frequently. The cooking is very good, the staff members are helpful and the rates are affordable. I like being in this place over a good supper.

I love turkish food and hence decided to go to this place...Its just not worst turkish food, its the worst food ever...undercooked chicken, stale gyro/doner, squishy baklava, bland hummus...and they call themselves #1 Istanbul kebab house...
