proper comfort food done right. The fried chicken was crispy, juicy, and full of flavour, with a coating that stayed crunchy right to the last bite. Clearly cooked fresh and seasoned perfectly.

The burger was unreal - stacked generously, packed with flavour, and paired brilliantly with hot, perfectly cooked fries. The wings were just as good, with a great crunch and a sauce that hit the spot without overpowering the chicken.

I’ve had this twice now. First time was delivery and was one of the best chicken burgers I ever had. Second time I ate it (picture) and the burger was still so flavourful but almost stone cold as it had taken 35 minutes to come despite there only being 2 other people in the restaurant, I assume they had forgotten about it:(

By far the best combination of spices and sauces in a smash burger ive had in manchester. The juiciness and texture is finger licking good. Staff are admirably hospitable and polite. Service is on point. Would definitely come back for a jaw dropping meal.💯

Me and my friend came here because she recommended the place to me and we ordered wings, chicken burgers and the chicken loaded fries. The service given by Mohamed was great, recommending us the best in the menu. The food was amazing and the loaded fries were the best👌🏼👌🏼🤌🏼 Deffo coming back for more!!

Amazing Punjabi cookery class!  Attended with my Mum who treated us both to the class as a Christmas present!  We both consider ourselves enthusiast home chefs but there is always something new to learn!

Amjad, Rawat and their amazing team made us feel super welcome and not only taught us how to make some amazing dishes but explained the cultural and family significance  behind them.

For Starters we were taught how to prepare  Punjab Chickens Lolipops and Lamb Chops.  For Main we taught the traditional way of cooking Lamb Karahi and Chicken Jalfrezi -  easily some of the tastiest renditions of both dishes we’ve had anywhere!  Best of all the team showed us how to prepare the food using readily available ingredients and home cooking facilities!

The team also demonstrated how to prepare their version of Pilau Rice and and how to cook Naan bread in a Tandoor oven (also explaining how to cook using a normal oven given that most people don’t have access to a Tandoor oven at home).

Once the cooking was done we had lots of time to enjoy our delicious creations and chat amongst our new friends we made during the class!

Can’t recommend Zouk enough for its ambience, delicious food and friendly service!    Attending one of their Cookery classes is a worthwhile experience that I would recommend to anyone with a passion for Indian and Pakistani cuisine!  Thanks guys!  🥘🍢🇮🇳🥘🍚🔥🫓

Restaurant itself was nice but unfortunately at the time we went it wasn't very busy but it was early evening. Starters weren't particularly to my taste but can't fault the presentation. It looked fantastic. The saviour was the main courses. Beautifully presented again and the taste was perfect. Mocktail was really good too albeit they didn't have the smoke box it was supposed to come in. 24k gold cappuccino was the icing on the cake. Finished the meal perfectly.  Will be back no doubt.

We visited Zouk based on its popularity, and we’ve wanted to try it for a while. We didn’t need to book in advance as we went at a relatively quiet time - it was around early dinner time. Upon arrival, we were seen to by a member of staff who showed us to our table.

Zouk offer a variety of (halal) savoury and many desert options, as well as a wide array of drinks. We ordered sliders for starters, and chicken steaks for our main, plus a mocktail and coke. The drinks were great - no complaints. The sliders looked yummy, but they weren’t very flavourful. They didn’t have any sauce. The cheese giving the most flavour.

Nevertheless, the mains were tasty. The chicken didn’t have skin, which was fantastic. And they had a decent amount of sauce on them. The sides were yummy, however the boiled veg could have been chopped a little finer. It contained whole baby carrots, baby sweetcorn, and broccoli. The house sauce was delicious - highly recommended!

Overall, we had a positive experience at Zouk, and we have already recommended this place to family and friends.

I ordered the Lamb Shank Curry, Grilled King Prawns, and a Plain Naan with sesame seeds. The lamb shank was outstanding, tender, and fell straight off the bone. The naan arrived hot and the chef was kind enough to add seeds on request. The prawns were full of flavour and cooked perfectly. The food carried deep spice, great texture, and rich aroma. The ambience was warm and stylish. Staff were polite, though more welcoming recommendations would help.

Etci Mehmet - Turkish Steak House

​I had a fantastic dining experience here recently and can’t recommend it enough. From the moment you walk in, the ambience strikes a perfect balance between elegant and welcoming—it’s the kind of place that works just as well for a date night as it does for a celebratory dinner with friends.

​The highlight of the night was, without a doubt, the Istanbul Steak. It was cooked to absolute perfection—tender, incredibly flavorful, and seasoned beautifully. You can tell they use high-quality cuts and authentic techniques. It’s easily one of the best steaks I’ve had in a long time.

​Beyond the food, the service was top-notch. The staff were attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing.

​If you're looking for a spot with great vibes and even better food, definitely give this place a try. I’ll definitely be back for that steak!

We had a great dining experience as a family of three in the Manchester branch and we're taken care of by front of house staff and management.

The chicken tacos are a must try! We had the spinach spring rolls which were decent.
Medallion steak was cooked to perfection and the Asado Beef which was a huge portion.

We topped it off with baklawa dessert which was delicious. A delectable and fun experience with the fire shows towards the end of our meal.

We had a fantastic time at Etci Mehmet - Turkish Steak House.
The ambience is beautiful, very stylish and lively. The fire shows were amazing and made the whole evening special.

The service was excellent – all the waiters were friendly and professional. Our waiter Aron was outstanding: attentive, welcoming, and made sure everything was perfect.

First time visit at 1730 on a December weekday. Fairly quiet on arrival but warmly welcomed and sat down at a table. The restaurant is very modern and nicely decorated for Christmas. Menu is extensive and has a good selection for both meat and vegetarian options. All drinks are non-alcoholic which wasn't a problem though the content of the Sangria cocktail did use a soft drink with a sweetener. They serve normal Coke but am unsure of other non-sweetner drinks. The food was excellent, all freshly prepared. Some additional table presentation for the giant meatball was a nice touch. Good sized portions for all courses. Taste was excellent and the Turkish baklava with the extra table presentation was divine. Service was added to the bill and well deserved. All the staff were attentive and did their jobs well. The restaurant was busier as we left with families arriving. Overall a 5* and would definitely return.

We visited from Somerset at the weekend and it was just amazing!! The food, the interactions from all staff, the atmosphere everything was just outstanding. If I lived in the area it would be my number 1 choice!
Generous portions - these items were both starters! 1000% worth the money for the experience and food. Thanks for having us!

I enjoy the pizzas at this place! They have a great American flavor and come in interesting shapes that make them easy to eat.
They are a bit pricey for their size, but  worth a try!

Great looking place in a fantastic location. I had a slice of the kimchi pork and yes it really was very nice but there are a couple of issues. Firstly £8.50 for a slice of pizza is eye watering to say the least, the wet kimchi did not help structurally and once bit into the kimchi kept trying to escape which isn't great. Lovely staff and Overall I'd say give it a go and see what you think.

crap. went with my boyfriend and the service was terrible. the lad behind the counter think he was called lewis, left out food on the pass for about 15 minutes because he was in the kitchen on his phone. ended up waiting like half an hour all in all. even went up to the counter and shouted him multiple times and he was too busy on his phone. and then we had the food that was decent. finished eating then went to the loo to see actual human shit in the sink (WARNING, photo attached). so yeah. crap

I don't even know where to begin with this place. It's something that Manchester has needed for a long time. I am a bit biased but Detroit style pizza is on the top of my list and this place does it perfectly. Amazing pizza, great staff and vibe. Forget Nell's and other pizza joints, this place far exceeds them. I try and come through this place every time I'm in Manchester. I hope they expand and make other locations around the city! Highly recommend!

A unique pizzeria which sells rectangular shaped pizzas called “Hot Pizzas”. We were initially skeptical about it but just tried for fun and it was amazing! One box would be sufficient for one person along with a drink and a small side dish like fries. We had ordered a BBQ Meatz Slim and a Buffalo Chicken Slim, both of them were delicious. The service was quick and it wasn’t that crowded during our late evening visit. The toilet is big and clean and is disabled friendly.

We just had a late breakfast at this great cafe. Freshly-squeezed orange juice, good strong coffee, and excellent food (we had the cheese toastie with za'atar, and the smoked salmon and cream cheese in a brioche loaf). The place is spotlessly clean. The staff were excellent. We really appreciated their efforts to make space for us (it was busy when we arrived). Definitely recommend!

I really want to thank the employee Bisan and all the staff for their warm welcome and great cooperation. This is something special about the restaurant.

The restaurant serves delicious Arabic breakfast. I highly recommend visiting it! The eggs and appetizers were very tasty and made me feel like I was at home.

I recommend it to all students and Gulf visitors.

Visited this place for the first time and ordered the Arab breakfast for two along with the Turkish sausage.I was really looking forward to trying it after reading so many good reviews, but unfortunately, the experience didn’t quite meet my expectations. The omelette plate with sauces, falafel, and olives didn’t taste very fresh, especially the bread.
There were also some flies around the food, which didnt was very hygiene.
As well, we were charged a service fee that wasn’t mentioned beforehand.
Overall, not worth the hype or the money you pay

Was in Manchester for the weekend and wanted to visit somewhere different, that served great food and real good coffee. These guys delivered both, with pleasant service also in a nice setting. Not the cheapest breakfast/brunch but you get what you pay for; we will return when next in town. Fresh OJ awesome too.

I came to Manchester for one day for the first time, and this was definitely one of my top highlights on this day! I left my hotel early and hungry, but then found this gem. The place is nice, the staff and owner were very kind and welcoming. But the food! Wow. Best Arabic breakfast I've had in a long time. If I'm in this city this would be my go to breakfast spot.

The food for me was brilliant! Almost midnight and I have fresh noodles, prawns, chicken, pad thai and fresh veggies made in front of me.

Was slightly let down by the pain suisse as the cooking chocolate used in it hadn’t melted evenly which meant there was just clumps of chocolate.

Pastry was pretty flaky but tasted a day or two old

Coffee was good and the service was very speedy. I think their green quarter branch probably has a better vibe and the Oxford street one is more of a grab and go spot

Beautifully crafted delicious pastries, tried a few now all devine.  Matcha latte is great not too sweet as they use coconut sugar and the oat cappuccino  was lovely too smooth taste now lovely sandwiches, my fav is the chicken ceasor with anchovies breadcrubs

I was here to get some pastries for breakfast. As a baker can tell that pastries are very good, good prodded and moist. I will recommend to take plain croissants, pain suisse and cinnamon buns. Almond bun also good, but I would add a little bit more flavor. Personal is super nice and friendly. The girl who made coffee just made my day. She saw that like anime and made picture on my coffee with anime character. Recommend to everyone who like French pastry.

Ruth was so lovely on the till and even stopped to have a chat with us. Beautiful ‘modern takes’ cinnamon bun iced latte, a gorgeous cherry bakewell danish pastry that Ruth recommended and tea that all the family enjoyed! Such a lovely and calm spot

I visited Half a Dozen yesterday and was served by Hannah and Ste.. the service was second to none, they are so friendly and helpful. The coffee was 10/10 and the pastries are aaamazing. Couldn't recommend more :)

This was my first time visiting NUDON, and I have to say it was an incredible experience from start to finish! The moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and excellent service. The atmosphere was inviting and comfortable, perfect for both casual dining and special occasions.
The food was absolutely delicious—every dish was full of flavor, beautifully presented, and cooked to perfection. You can really tell that the chefs take pride in their work. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout my meal.
I highly recommend NUDON to anyone looking for amazing food, great service, and a wonderful dining experience. I’ll definitely be coming back soon!

Just ordered on Uber Eats… I love East Asian food and I have to say I’m very impressed! The dynamite prawns were great, and the Mongolian beef & spicy chicken noodles (ordered as the ‘regular box’) were divine!! My brothers and mum tried the food too and loved it 🙏

Amazing food and a great modern take on traditional Asian food. I would highly recommend ordering if you want food that is fresh, filling, well presented, packed with flavour, and slightly different to your standard Asian takeaway… Very happy with my meal and will definitely be ordering again!!

Took 12 minutes for 2 bobas to be made with no queue ahead. Ordered a matcha milk tea and chocolate exposition special for just over £10, both large. Tastes very good! Lids are not the seal and pierce type.

Alhamdulillah, I had the chance to dine at one of the halal restaurants in Manchester – Nudon. The menu was impressive and offered a great variety of options! I ordered the Singapore Rice, Salt & Pepper Chicken, Egg Fried Rice, Chili Chicken, and Tiger Milk Tea.

Alhamdulillah, everything was delicious – the chicken was crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. The prices were reasonable considering the quality and generous portions. Service was quick, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was cozy and pleasant, with two floors of seating available.

Overall, I truly enjoyed my meal and highly recommend this place!

I am a regular customer and loves their food. My only issue is with the people working there hencr i gave 1 star review. Very unprofessional and always talk to each other and gossip while customer is waiting to be served. I understand their language hence i know they talk random stuff which has nothing to do with work. Customers gets only 30 mins break time from work therefore  the staff should value their time and not waste it gossiping with each other. Parking a car is a big issue still i come to this place risking my car to get a ticket hoping to be served quick.  During busy time, i understand. But when its not busy, i expect to be served quick. Yesterday (18/11/2025), i placed order (oreder no.105), food was made quick as well but the guy serving me hold the rice box in hand to put in a bag but  started talking to his mates, which was not work related while i was waiting to get it. He kept talking and laughing. As i was getting late i had to take my rice box from his hand without the bag and fork. I expect , management to have  words with the employees and tell them not to gossip while customer is waiting. If not resolved quickly, business will loose customers slowly.

MEATWORKS

Meatworks is one of those places you can confidently choose for either lunch or dinner, knowing it won’t disappoint. Our experience started with haystack onions (on the house), which were absolutely delicious.

For starters, we went with the hot honey tenders and the short rib pancakes — and honestly, both were excellent choices. I’d happily order them again without hesitation. My only small critique is that the short rib pancakes were quite a challenge to eat… delicious, yes, but definitely messy in the best way.

For mains, we ordered the Emmy Burger and the House Salad. I didn’t expect to love the House Salad as much as I did, but surprisingly, I think I enjoyed it even more than the burger. The flavours were beautifully balanced and worked incredibly well together. The burger itself leaned a bit more towards the classic side, and while still tasty, the caramelised onions were slightly overpowering for the taste — almost stealing the spotlight from the meat.

Overall, it was a really flavourful and satisfying evening. Meatworks is definitely a place I’ll be coming back to again and again.

I’ve been to Meat Works in Manchester twice now, and both times the food has been absolutely amazing. The quality, flavour, and presentation have been consistently top-notch.

The first time I visited, the service from Patrick really stood out — he was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. On my second visit, Patrick wasn’t working, and although the service could have been a bit better, the food still more than made up for it.

I’ve tried both the burger and the ribs, and they were both cooked perfectly — tender, juicy, and full of flavour. The desserts are also really good and worth saving room for.

Overall, Meat Works never disappoints when it comes to great food, and I’ll definitely be going back again!

We had such a lovely time dining here. We didn’t have to wait for a table at all, and everyone was incredibly welcoming from the moment we arrived. The staff were genuinely warm and attentive, constantly checking in to see if we were enjoying the food, and even brought over a few little extras for us to try. They also made some great recommendations that suited our taste perfectly.

The beef was beautifully cooked – fresh, tender, and full of flavour. You can really taste the quality of the meat. The salad was refreshing and crisp, slightly tangy but in a way that made it even more appetising.

The overall atmosphere was relaxed yet lively, and the service really made the whole experience special. A wonderful meal from start to finish.

Absolutely fantastic steak spot, beautiful tender flavours cooked to perfection with a simple but delicious menu. Ordered the beef rib which was so rich in flavour and enough for 2 people to share. The sauce was made from a Gochujang base and complimented the rib well. Smoked and cooked to perfection. I ordered the picana steak and the fillet and oh my, it was juicy and flavourful, peppercorn sauce was one of the best I’ve ever had. Garlic truffle Parmesan fries 10/10, crunchy and punchy!
