What a nice restaurant atmosphere and delicious food away from the crowded areas of london. We started with Baba`s Tikka & Hummus , Prawn Crocket and Sourdough Naan & Mahyawa. The main courses were Mousakka, Bahraini Chicken Machbous, and Qurma Sabzi with some spicy sauces on the side. I can tell you, I’ve eaten one of the best Arabic food in London. It is a very nice blend between spices and quality of ingredients. Well done Villa Mamas and I really appreciate the experience and the vibe. Not to forget the staff who were really so lovely and do love what they are doing. Great and wonderful service.

What an amazing experience ! The staff were so cooperative despite the fact that it was a full house ! Adam was an amazing host! Very attentive and accommodating! My first but definitely NOT my last time visiting! Worth every penny 👍🏻

Villa Mamas in London is a wonderful taste of home in the middle of the city. The food is incredibly tasty and full of authentic flavor. Highlights include the chicken machboos, cauliflower, and tandoori chicken—each dish cooked to perfection.
Dessert is a must: the elba and sticky date pudding are absolute standouts. Special shout out to Adam for the world-class service, which made the experience even better. Highly recommended.

Absolutely loved my experience at Villa Mamas! The food was exceptional—creamy hummus, rich and flavourful qurma, a simple yet comforting pulao, and the standout mozat laham which was perfectly tender and full of depth. Even the cocktails were spot on and beautifully balanced.

What made the evening even more special was the staff—so attentive, warm, and genuinely caring. They really looked after us, making sure everything felt seamless and welcoming from start to finish.

Villa Mamas is one of those rare places where both food and hospitality shine equally. Can’t wait to return!

We visited London recently (from Australia) and met with some friends for dinner at Villa Mamas in Chelsea. Upon first contact, the staff were warm and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious and the serves were generous. It was one of the best meals we had during our 2 week London stay. We will definitely visit the restaurant again on another visit. Thank you to the team for a lovely, memorable evening.

Really appreciated that halal options are available, which made dining here much easier.

The signature steak frites were cooked perfectly and full of flavour. We also tried the crab sandos, which were fresh and delicious, and finished with the French toast, which was excellent and not overly sweet.

The atmosphere is stylish yet relaxed, service was attentive, and overall the quality of food was very high. Would definitely recommend

From the bottom of my heart, thank you all for making my 40th birthday lunch so amazing. From the food to the service, we honestly couldn't fault a thing. We would recommend anyone considering dining with you and we will definitely return. We would also like to thank you for entertaining our son and his pasta dish!

Amazing experience! The staff is very attentive and friendly and knowledgeable. The quality of the food is superb and the decoration is very nice, from the designed plates to the overall decor. The portions are generous in general. Highly recommended!!!

Food is top class. The steak frites was amazing and the starters were tasty. But the service is average. Chaotic and rushed. Tables are cramped in a small place and they put all the guests in one area, instead of spreading us out across the restaurant

What a delightful find in Chelsea Green, a Bistro specialising in its namesake ‘Beef’.

Some outstanding dishes were decadently indulged including these fabulous ones; Kobe Frickin’Chicken, Crab Tacos, Sea-bass Scarpetta Sashimi with Passion Fruit, Croque Tuna (OMG insanely good) all as starters to share.

Followed by……The Crying Tiger with New York Strip, Ultimate Smash Cheeseburger with Classic Fries, Jalapeño Mash (don’t judge first try) & a House Green Salad! All lovingly prepared & washed down with a seemingly never ending supply of some seriously addictive & delicious Caipirinhas.

So, the much desired outside seating (yes basically on the road but screened, you know the type, hold on to your phones) has 4 tables. Question, would I sit here again as opposed to being inside? Answer; I’d sit inside. We didn’t experience the inside until the license to be served outside by 10pm was reached, where upon we moooved inside. By which time there were only 3 tables with what I’d call ‘remainder guests or The Hardcore’ and therefore the buzz of a fully booked restaurant was no longer there to be a part of.

Delightful staff, looking after us to ensure allergies were acknowledged, gorgeous bespoke emoji opening plates (yes you need to buy them), food made with love, served beautifully, the serve wear is adorable, we left wanting more of the same on the next visit!

Highly recommend.

The food was amazing! One of the best raitas I’ve ever had. The saffron naan and plantain korma were also delicious. Our waiter Araw was lovely and very attentive. He always refilled our water. The decor was also so nice. I loved the townhouse and the green accents. Overall, the service and food were exceptional! I would definitely recommend and will be back!!

Came here to try something different with a friend and was absolutely blown away by the hospitality and food.

Set near a private house, you ring the bell at the front and then someone will greet you by the door. They take your jackets to their cloakroom which was nice.
We went for their lunch/dinner set menu, which was £35pp + cost of drinks on top. We chose the prawn masala and shami kebab as a starter. Then the sea bass neelgiri and goat green peppercorn for mains and the chocolate peanut fudge cake. Loved every single dish they served, bringing out different flavours and tastes to every dish. Meat and fish was tender

Had a meal at Kutir with a friend I hadn’t seen in a long time. The vibe was still lovely! We sat upstairs by the window, which was a great spot. On a nice day, it’s the perfect place to have a relaxed meal with friends and enjoy the atmosphere.

Prawn: Lightly fried on the outside, with a mildly spicy flavor that isn’t too strong. A squeeze of lemon adds a nice touch of freshness!

Quail Naan – Truffle: The truffle aroma was incredibly rich, and the scrambled egg on top was soft and creamy!

Sea Bass: I had this before and loved it again this time. The curry sauce was flavorful and fresh, the fish was tender, and the sauce went perfectly with rice.

Goat – Green Peppercorn: The slow-cooked goat was tender and not gamey at all.

For dessert, I chose the sorbet, which was sweet and tangy. The other dessert plate had several flavors; the chocolate one was silky smooth, sweet but not heavy, and very tasty.

The set menu is perfect for a casual lunch.

The atmosphere of the place and overall aesthetics of it are remarkably elegant,. including the music selection. Additionally the attention which is given by the staff towards the costumers is very satisfactory and all needs were met, special thanks to our waiter Araw who enhanced the experience for us. The food selection was quite unique and spectacular, with an authentic Indian flavor.
The variety of vegetarian friendly dishes is also honorable.

I got there without a reservation. On the day I went, they were able to seat me without one.

I got the tasting menu and I was very pleased. The amount was just right such that I was pleasantly full at the end. They made good use of premium ingredients, such as morel mushroom and truffle, with the traditional Indian spices. The spiciness level was enough such that there was an appreciable amount of heat without overwhelming the other flavors. It was all very enjoyable. I finished it off with a cup of masala chai which was nice and light.

The service was also great. My server Chaithra was very attentive and answered all my questions about the dishes I received with great detail (such as ingredients used), without having to consult the kitchen.

I will certainly come back to try the other tasting menus with my partner next time.

All meats are halal except the game. No pork but alcohol is served

Lovely place to eat, very aesthetically pleasing. You can tell an interior designer has put some work in to make the place special. The food is good quality. Good variety or sweet and savoury options. A nice place to take the family, go on a date or even just to catch up with friends. Very versatile. Clean toilets and good service. Waiters are attentive but not at all overbearing. We didn't feel rushed to leave after our meal.

I was thrilled to discover this hidden gem near Chelsea, right by my friend’s workplace! Just like the Holborn branch, this place never disappoints! I dove straight into my all-time favorites – Poffertjes, perfectly fluffy and drizzled with icing sugar, accompanied by butter and maple syrup on the side. My friends went all out, devouring savory pancakes alongside our sweet treats in just a matter of minutes. What a delicious extravaganza!

I had a great experience at My Old Dutch on King’s Road. The place has a relaxed, welcoming feel, and it’s exactly the kind of spot where you can sit down, take your time, and enjoy something comforting. The menu is straightforward but offers a lot of variety, and the pancakes were exactly what I expected—light, fresh, and well-prepared.

Service was friendly and efficient, and everything came out quickly without feeling rushed. Portions are generous, and the sweet options especially stand out if you want something indulgent. It’s a simple concept done well, and I appreciate that consistency.

Overall, it’s an easy choice for a casual breakfast or a relaxed afternoon stop. I’d happily return.

Good service and got a table quickly.
the food is Waffles and Crepes mainly and they all looked good.
I am not a fan of that so had a salad, which was OK but rather bland.
Go for the Crepes and waffles and you will enjoy it. Huge range of options

Very pretty place, lovely ambience, beautiful decor inside and outside, service 5 star! The Manager is super cool! The food is delicious, reasonably priced and fairly big portion. I had a pancake cream banana and Nutella, yum yum, salted caramel ice latte and my friend had a Oreo shake, and loved it.

All our grilled chicken is halal and our chicken curry pancake is halal.

How can this gem of a restaurant be out of the way, when it’s such a hit with locals, folks coming out of the V&A, or others just passing through north Chelsea? Hai ragione. Non può essere. Specializing in some varied and exceptionally flavourful pizza dishes which are the stars of the show. So take in the charm, intimate surroundings, and speedy service to taste some of the best in London. Salute!

The best pizza in London - will be going back for sure!

Only downside is that it lets you book tables for specific times on the website but when you get there they tell you there’s no bookings and you just have to queue and wait. We were only a 2 but would make it hard for a bigger table.

The garlic butter was so good!

The prices are reasonable, and the food is delicious. I recommend the Sicily pizza and the goat cheese salad. The sweets are amazing too. It's a very authentic Italian restaurant. Highly recommend 10/10

We had a great experience here! The pizza was absolutely delicious. We already tried this sister restaurant in another district and loved it, so we were happy to visit this location as well. The staff was very friendly.We will definitely come back

I was there Monday night and cannot say enough about how great their pizza is.  All we ordered was pizzas, but they are Neapolitan style and were amazing, all of them.  I was in Italy this past June and this Pizza was better than almost every pizza I had there in four different major cities.  Outstanding!

The Teriyaki Katsu from @okarestaurant in Fancy Chelsea. Only the chicken is halal, but its all about the sushi here, its very good.

Absolutely fantastic sushi experience! Every dish was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor — compliments to the chef for the incredible work in the kitchen. A special thank you to our lovely waitress Archa and Rana, who made the evening even more enjoyable with her kindness and professionalism. Highly recommend this place to any sushi lover!

The best sushi place in the area. I used to order from this place which was great.
The only time we went there the place was busy and we got a table right away, which was nice.
We got the salmon bites which was good. But all the sushis’ choice was great, red dragon roll and tataki asparagus.

The food was lovely - the fish in the sushis is very generous and portions are large. Our server Archa (not sure if it’s her exact name) was lovely. very approachable and professional which made our stay very pleasant! Recommended

Delicious food with authentic Asian flavours! Special mention to Rana on the staff, who was very helpful and shared great recommendations.

The food was great and the server was friendly. The tables are too close together which is annoying. Especially that there was some extremely loud guy shouting and laughing hysterically right next to us and it ruined the experience for us. Just wanted to finish and leave.
