My first trip to London, this location was my first dining stop. Came back again straight from a delayed train. My partner was using a wheelchair and the staff offered to get a ramp for us to get over the single step to enter. There was plenty of seating and they made sure we had space for the chair and luggage.

I love the care they take with dietary needs. My partner has a gluten allergy and we’re both vegetarians. The staff all know exactly what’s safe and how it’s prepared. The veggie burgers and delicious, the onion rings are incredible, and the chips are delicious. Can’t wait to go back.

An employee was removing holiday decals from the window outside, and having a challenging time. A deliver biker who was waiting for an order to be ready jumped in to help out, and the two worked for ten minutes to get all the sticky decals off. They re-entered the restaurant to a round of applause. It was a very sweet moment that shows the type of community and care there.

I don’t usually enjoy burgers. However, this one is different. The beef burger here is truly the most delicious! I was certainly a regular customer while in London. The beef is so fresh and tasty. It is cooked perfectly. They prepare most of their food from scratch, including hand cutting the fries. You can really taste the difference - it just tastes fresh and delicious.

Honest Burgers have a fair few locations across London; their Kings Cross location is great as it’s just down the block from the station, making it a reliable choice to grab a bite to eat before or after the train.

The staff are friendly and the interior is large and comfortable. I went for the gluten-free Buffalo burger and it was really good; the chicken was crispy, with a generous helping of the sauce. The spice of the buffalo sauce combined with the cool ranch mayo was the ideal combination, adding a creaminess to balance out the spice. The portion size was decent but a little on the smaller side for the money — I managed to finish my meal and I’m a very light eater, so it is possible others could have left hungry.

The staff members were both friendly and attentive, and I would return here when in London, even if I’m not catching a nearby train.

First time at a HB (finally). No wait to be seated, just after 6pm. Double smashed cheeseburger was spot on. Good quality beef, cooked just right and not overloaded with trimmings. Solid fries too. Yes, you pay more than at a mass chain but these are good burgers.

All of the chicken in our restaurants is halal. If you would like to see our supplier’s halal certificate please ask your server when you arrive. Halal products are stored separately with strict processes in place to stop cross-contamination. Halal chicken items are handled with separate utensils and gloves. Fried halal chicken burgers and wings do not share fryers with any non-halal items. Grilled halal chicken breast burgers are cooked on a reserved area of the grill separated by a grill divider. We do not offer halal beef at any of our restaurants.

Visited the KFC near King’s Cross and was genuinely surprised to find they don’t accept American Express. Smaller shops and off-licences nearby say they can’t take Amex due to costs — fair enough. But a major franchise like KFC refusing it makes no sense.

Almost every big brand accepts Amex these days, even independents like METI. For a global chain to operate like a corner shop is disappointing. I only use Amex, so I had no option but to leave and buy food elsewhere.

KFC really needs to sort this out. For a brand of this size, not accepting a standard payment method is unacceptable in 2025.

I had this kfc on the 27/12 as we was playing pool in hurricanes and they currently wasn’t serving food. So I went to buy myself and my dad a wrap each.

I should have known when eating it that it tasted old, dry and stale.

That night. Both me and my dad was vomiting for the next 24h. No one else in our house got sick and it’s the only thing we both are Separate  to  Anyone else.

As long as you’re okay with food poisoning, then feel free to eat here

I had an amazing experience today at KFC in Kings Cross. It was the best meal I’ve had! I’ve tried chicken items at other locations they were not so good, but today at Kings cross KFC the taste was exceptional and the chicken was cooked perfectly and the service was also good. I'm loving it, and I hope they maintain this quality!

I was at this branch, and honestly, I did not have the best of service and neither the best of products. The chicken that day was salty. The staff didn't give much attention I had to practically be begging for condiments. The dinning were not well cleaned. I didn't have value for money one bit. I had expected KFC to do better but none. The lobby area weren't well taken care of.

HFA has certified KFC's products in these stores, and the store environments, as halal. KFC has also ensured that the halal certified chicken would also meet the rigorous animal welfare standards employed in the UK, and has consulted leading animal welfare groups about this. KFC insists that all poultry is stunned before slaughter. HFA allows the use of a technique called 'stun-to-stun' - a pain free process that makes the animal insensible to pain and suffering. A verse is also recited from the Quran at the point of slaughter by an appropriate person and the poultry will not come into contact with non-halal meat at any point in the supply chain. KFC only buys high quality, Grade A, farm-assured chicken from trustworthy suppliers, and this will not change.

Pizza Union King's Cross

This is a hidden little gem, no more that 5 minutes walk from Kings Cross. This place does what it says on the name above the door and sell handmade pizzas. The menu is done just right and the moment you order you can smell them being made. You’re given a little buzzer which alerts you when it’s ready. Surprisingly it only took 7 minutes. Quicker than Uber. The pizza are very delicious and taste amazingly. Don’t expect fancy tableware, this makes the place so unique.

Decent pizza especially for the price. Fresh and quality ingredients, though the base could be slightly better. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff.

Very nice place. Probably the cheapest pizza I ever had in a restaurant. No table service as such but nice service overall. Pizzas very tasty and fresh, thin (but not dry) and still a great deal for the price. Definitely will come back when in London

I love this place. The food is just great pizza. For banging price. You don’t find this especially in this part of london no more. I almost cried. I got the margherita pizza for just under 6 quid. All pizzas are stone baked to perfection, thin crust just the way i like it. It’s simple. I loved the vibe too. I don’t think there is a single fault. See the photo for proof of how much i loved it

I can’t believe this place exists in central London. Cheap (we’re talking pizza, snacks and dips, and a beer for £14), amazing quality, and served extremely fast, a few minutes walk from King’s Cross station.
I’m not sure how they are able to do it- but it’s amazing.

Our chicken is Halal across all branches but it is not prepared separately to other meats. Pork and alcohol are on the menu.

Went for lunch and tried their lunch menu, burger, fries, and a drink. The chicken burger was delicious: crispy, flavourful, and had just the right amount of spice. The coleslaw was crunchy and fresh, and the pickles added a really nice touch.

The only downside was that the bottom of the burger was a little soggy, toasting the bun would’ve made it perfect. Fries were crispy, hot, and fresh. Overall, a really tasty lunch.

Great chicken burger, the chicken was specially amazaing. The korean hot sauce was a bit too bitter to my taste but that's just my taste, I'd definately go back to try a different one. Service was really nice!

The restaurant’s really close to Euston, so it was perfect for grabbing food while travelling into London. We both got the buffalo chicken burger and shared some wings, everything was so tasty. The staff were great too and told us we’d save money with the lunch deal, so we got a burger and chips for £12.50, rather than the full price normal menu

Yesterday my friend and i went to celebrate her bday in a nice yummy place, and i absolutely love that the chicken is halal, we were welcomed and served by the beauuutiful sara, she really was the coolest kindest person that made our day! she was attentive and fast and was accommodating everyone at the restraunt! It was a lovely lunch indeed as you can see from the pics🥰😍🤭

A tasty fried chicken spot in the heart of London, right around the corner from St Pancras train station. The service was quick and friendly. The food good quality and beer to match. Bottomless water for a pound also means you can hydrate for a reasonable price. But if you have the bucks the house lemonade was refreshing. The house beer costs the regular amount for London but it was also tasty and refreshing on a warm day. Although the street view may not be premium the music playlist was enjoyable.

All our chicken is sourced from UK farms and is Halal certified. Since removing the vodka from our k-wings. Our entire menu is now Halal.

Slim Chickens

Great fresh chicken salad option, really tasty. Service was fast and welcoming. I recommend blue cheese sauce and slim sauce. Nice atmosphere for a fast food place: american-style diner boots available with phone chargers. Prices more than fair for London.

My youngest really wanted to try their food as we were in Soho last weekend. To be honest, I really enjoyed their chicken salad. A lot on the basket and fresh and tasty. For sure will return!

Hot wings have a good kick to them, takes a while for food to arrive (15 mins for me, it wasn't that busy) but it's cooked fresh so all good. Only one flat wing out of six though and meat didn't pull from the bone, made eating difficult. All round - it's alright.

First time here and loved it. Food came out really quick. I had a wrap and fries meal deal. Great selection of dips

Our initial plan got changed due to longer then expected queue at Swiss Butter, sp we looked for nearby alternative Halal option. Found Slims Chicken not far from our location. Loved the food. The service and overall vibe. Will definitely recommend especially to those who look for better quality Halal fast food. Must try.

Rosa's Thai King's Cross

Great central location, stone throw from Kings Cross station. Helpful and friendly staff.

Lost half a star because toilet is just by the dining area, could mess up dining experience for some.  Then, could it be my taste buds? Or I’m just not used to Thai culinary? All the foods seem over seasoned… I had to change the Noodles for a different meal (which they were generous in changing) but same over seasoning sensation.  This might just be perfect for someone else… but I’ve been restaurants all over the world and this is my perception here.

Nonetheless, great new culinary experience, and for the customer service, helpfulness and presentation. I will recommend.

The food was decent, but the service definitely needs more attention. When we entered the restaurant, we stood by the reception area unsure whether we should wait to be seated or simply choose an available table. Several staff members walked past us multiple times without greeting us, making eye contact, or offering any guidance. It felt as though we were completely unnoticed. We eventually had to stop a staff member ourselves just to ask what the procedure was. A simple acknowledgment or a brief “someone will be with you shortly” would have made the experience far more welcoming and organised.

Kingss!! Queens!! Superheros!!! Astonishing! Such an unbelievable and Breathtaking experience I had at Rosa Thai!!! Omg I am perplexed and moved by the extraordinary performance of Poppy and Emmanuel. Both of them were incredibly lovely tonight! Especially after a really tough day at work they knew exactly the type of whisky I like and the way the recommended was fantastic. Christmas time is absolutely one of the busiest month of the year however that’s not an excuse for them since timing was perfect. Defo coming back 😍👑

Beyond impressed! The food was amazing, but what really made our night was the exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond to make our celebration special. Thank you😻

I had high hopes for Rosa's Thai, but it was pretty average.

We got green curry, tom kha, and Thai iced teas. The Thai iced teas were on the sweeter side, but good. The curry was very average and a bit small. I did not like the tom kha as it was pretty bland.

We were sitting in a side table that was right in front of a desk where they stored plates, utensils, and the register. It was also a high traffic area where people kept bumping into us.

I wouldn't recommend if you want authentic Thai food or a calm ambiance for dinner.

Can't get your fix of KFC? Then you can try some Korean Fried Chicken from @sojuandco who serve halal chicken. .

We orderd the garlic and soy half chicken which comes in 9 peices.  I didn't find the chicken very flavoursome, I couldn't taste the garlic or soy. The chicken was crispy, but not that juicy or tender. .

We also got some a seafood pan cake and a Tteokboki, which were really different but really good. Definitely better than that chicken. .

I wouldn't really come back, as there was a smell of pork being cooked as this is a Korean BBQ. The fried chicken is cooked separately from the BBQ pork. You can check their instagram page for a picture of the halal chicken box/supplier. .

WingWing Krispy Chicken

It was good for a quick snack while I was waiting for my friend near UCL. However, it tasted a bit too sweet compared to Korean-style chicken in Seoul.

Great spot for students, they do a discount everyday, and a lot of seats.

I got 6 wings for 6.5£, mixed hot and soy garlic— wings were really tasty and a really good balance between the flavours, though they were on the smaller side.

I have to mention that the order took 15+ mins to come out but understandably as they are short staffed and managing deliveroo.

Really great service the guy gave me 3 wings free because they initially forgot my hot wings.

Overall, it’s real close to me so will be coming back!

This is easily the best chicken I’ve had in London. People always say Britain has bad food, well this place is the exception. Order the Katsu Curry you will not be disappointed. The chicken is served fresh (not frozen)! Bruh change your life. Upgrade your pallet.

The food was okay but there are definitely better chicken shops in London with MUCH better service. The person who was serving us was super rude and irritated. He was okay while serving me but when he was serving my girl friend (she was thinking for a bit longer because it was her first time) he kept rushing her in a rude manner, then when she finally picked, he kept repeating "you're done? you're done?!" then when she wanted to add prawns he put them in the computer and when she continued looking at the menu to choose a drink he removed the prawns from the order and said " i guess you're not getting prawns"- again in an even more aggresive manner, as we are two young girls we got scared and we just agreed, so she ended up with just three pieces of chicken, no drink. If i hadn't payed already,  we would have definitely left because his behavior was absolutely unacceptable ! We were excited to try the food but after this horrible experience our appetites were completely gone. Sad to see that this company which advertises itself as SO friendly and nice to everyone, hires someone who TOTALLY lacks decency and empathy!  The worst way to spend money and time. This is not the first time someone complained about the service, so please do something about it because youre constantly loosing customers due to a guy who hates his job. Disappointing. Will definitely tell everyone I know not. to. come.

Halal restaurant!

Sedap yeee! Very delish, and Imma sayyy it, its better than Wingstop in UK. More crispy, and juicy chicken meat. They really served hot, and freshly off the grill so yeappp I am really digging it and would suggest everyone to go here.

We also had their popping boba drink but mehhh, its TOO SWEET

Korean fried chicken, everything on the menu is Halal. Alcohol is served.

10/10 food. Quick and tasty.
Quesadila came out lovely. Have tried various branches of Tortilla, this was second best (Canary Wharf being the first!)

I visited the Tortilla at Kings Cross. My burrito bowl was bursting with flavour, fresh ingredients, and great spices. My friend’s salad was equally delicious and crisp. Fast service. Highly recommended!

Visited for dinner just before getting  my train, and it hit the spot! Generous portion and the flavours were good. Particularly enjoyed the guacamole.

Cheap and cheerful by London standards. Food is nice and you know what you're getting as it's a chain. Ideally located near to King's Criss and St. Pancras if you want something more than 'station food' but don't want to pay through the nose. Staff have always been friendly too.

Food was amazing but the staff are even better! Flavourful and delicious! All very friendly and attentive. If food runs out I’ll still come because of the great staff! 😂 visited on 19/9/25 around 17:30 🫶🏼 will come back again!

This place is located at the back of Kings Cross Station with other restaurants. The area is very swanky with restaurants, bars and the Google office. The restaurant itself is very modern and large. It is well decorated with a great vibe. The place was crowded on a Tuesday evening which gives you some idea of how popular it is. The wait staff are very friendly and welcoming. They are also attentive and ensure patrons are cared for. The menu is limited but extremely well tailored for tge clientele. The selection of dishes caters for most tastes and the drinks menu compliments the menu perfectly. The dishes are well presented and taste wonderful. The peppercorn chicken, chucken kari and chicken biryani are outstanding. In fact, all the dishes we had were of a very high standard. This is a slightly pricy place but we'll worth it. One small downside is that the tables are small so not easy to have your dishes on the table as well as whatever you have ordered. I will definitely be returning.

Great food and service. Make sure to book as it’s very popular. We sat outside and it wasn’t too cold. There’s heaters above each table and blankets are provided. We tried the hoppers experience for £35. Food was all very well balanced, flavourful and spicy. Portions sizes were good. Would definitely come back again to try more.

I had a nice meal at hoppers near King’s Cross. The food was tasty and the restaurant was nicely decorated. I felt for the price we paid we could have gotten bigger portions. The staff were friendly but were not as available as I would have expected, which led me to be constantly trying to attract their attention to order more food or get more drinks.
Overall a good experience that could be improved.

All good -obviosly if you are for Srilanka food- yet far too noisy. The place is actually cool and vibe, but perhaps too much: I could barely listen to the people next to me!

Still, the place is cool for the same reason: it was challenging to make a reservation and it was packey! We actually were kindly invited to leave after 2 hours as next turn was coming.

Food eas very good. We went for the Hoppers Experience which is a mix of selected house specialities for a fixed price (36£) which totallay ok.

I was not too kee. to come here yet I left very happy about it.

We had a mostly fantastic meal here – the food was so delicious we couldn't stop eating! Booking was essential as they were very busy. The big letdown was the handling of a tree nut allergy. My lamb biryani was served with cashews on top, even after notifying the waiter. The staff were apologetic and offered to comp the dish and bring rice, but I was given bread instead and the comped item still appeared on the final bill. Despite this incident, the quality of the food was exceptional.

So easy to find, just near King’s Cross Station. We couldn’t book a table in the morning, only walk-ins.

Excellent service. There’s both indoor and outdoor seating - since we wanted to sit inside, the staff gave us a table outside and brought us the menu while we waited. We waited about 20 minutes.

The place is modern, stylish, and nicely decorated.

We had the Ricotta Hotcakes with banana and honeycomb butter, and the scrambled eggs with sourdough bread - both were delicious! The pancakes were super fluffy, and I loved how the eggs were cooked.

Even though it was quite busy, our waiter was really attentive and kept topping up our water glasses promptly.

This is a great spot for brunch. I have been here before and once more hasn't let me down. The ricotta pancakes are a must, they were fluffy, light and with the right amount of sweetness. We had as well, a perfectly done scrambled eggs, moist and just delicious.
The service is quite attentive as well, the water was topped up, at all the time without requesting it.
Some people might find this place slightly pricey, but having in consideration the quality of the food is reasonable.
This is a busy restaurant, it is recommended to reserve a table.
Highly recommended.

We frequent the Japanese branch of Bill's a lot and it's famous for its Ricotta Pancakes. We haven't had it since before covid and was very happy to find out there was a London branch of Bill's with almost same menu and decor.
We visited on a Saturday early afternoon with wife and two kids really looking forward to this.

Ordered the following
- Chicken Schnitzel,  this was very disappointing. For £26.5 I expect at least the chicken to be nice, juicy and tender but it was dry and barely any seasoning (subjective) it really needed the large lemon squeezed over it to give it some flavour.
- Kids burger, for £15 was pretty bad as well. The patty was overcooked and very dry.  It was only when my kid stopped eating to say it hurt his throat that I was made aware but he'd already eaten most of it. So couldn't couldn't tell the staff.
- Kids pasta. This was OK.
- Scrambled egg and Bread. This was OK.
- Ricotta Pancake.  This was the biggest disappointment.  It was hard, not soft and fluffy.
In Japan they always tell us it takes 20 minutes and when we would like it, so it comes out nice and fresh ready to be demolished. Here it just came out with with the rest of the dishes.

This review is comparing to good memories of the Bill's that we had in Japan, so it could be a little unfair with our high expectations.
It might of been a off day for the London Kings Cross branch.
If I had never been to Japanese branch then the worse thing was the dry burger and the bad value chicken schnitzel.

Service was good as expected.

Famous for good reason. This establishment is across the road from St Pancras, bordering Granary Square - highly convenient and accessible for commuters.

The ricotta pancakes with maple butter are iconic, although I found myself wishing for some salty flavour; I’d suggest adding bacon if the meal wasn’t already on the pricey end. Nonetheless, it delivered.

Note: Due to its popularity, patrons at tables may be asked to move on shortly after finishing their meal to make room for the next customers. You can linger longer on the bar stools if you don’t mind facing the baristas and wait staff.

Sweetcorn fritters are a must try, perfectly done and so delicious. The banana pancake was fluffy and absolutely delish. The bacon wasn’t overly crispy and had less fat, which I personally loved. Both the scrambled eggs and avocado toast were full of flavor and very enjoyable. Service was attentive and good, which made the experience even better. It does get crowded and a bit noisy, so expect some queue from time to time. Overall, a great experience and I’ll definitely be back!

All of our chicken is Halal. This includes our chicken schnitzel and the roast chicken salad.

Went to @rotikinguk again after I think almost 2/3 years maybe more I don’t even know anymore, but either way the queue was even worse than the first time, I waited about 1hr 15mins in total 🥲 but in a way it shows how good the food is if ppl are willing to wait for it, found a place nearby as a backup & someone in the queue told me not to bother as it’ll disappoint so I decided to wait 🥲

Anyway, the food.

Beef Rendang: 9/10

Cost £8 & for me it was the right portion, on a bad day I’d have needed 2 rounds of it but this time round the rendang was soooo much better than the first time I had it, also the duck dish has been removed 😪💔 but it had like a mild citrusy hint to it as well which was beautiful.

Sweet roti: 7.5/10

Second dish was this sweet roti with caramelised brown sugar & bananas, this was really good but I felt like it needed some sort of single cream or double cream even to make it even better but was still decent either way.

Absolutely love roti king. Some of the best malay fare in London.

The pratha was nice and flaky. The chicken kari with the roti canai was a solid curry, spicy and flavorful.

The nasi goreng was the perfect combination of sweet savory shrimpy with plenty of wokhei.

The teh tarik was sweet but yummy.

Will definitely go back next time I am on London.

I highly recommend trying Roti King if you've never tried Malaysian food! The food was incredible and the service was very friendly. There are a couple of downsides though. There are not many seating options, so you are basically touching back to back with your table neighbors which makes the atmosphere very claustraphobic. You cannot book in advance, so be prepared to wait in line outside. I only waited about 15-20 minutes for a table of 4 before being seated which felt very reasonable. I would also not recommend if you can't handle some spice! Aside from those things, Roti King had an absolutely delicious rendang. It was incredibly flavorful and filling. The spinach and cheese murtabak (not pictured) is a must try and great for sharing, and the planta and kaya desserts are the perfect ending to a fantastic meal. I could dream about the kaya with how wonderful the filling was. The coconut ice cream was delicious and perfectly balanced. Overall, I would absolutely dine at Roti King again.

The food here is really good 😋 and the staff are super nice! I had the Char Kuy Tiu and Laksa – both were delicious, fresh, and packed a spicy kick 🌶️🔥! Loved that wok hei flavor – very authentic 👌. I also tried the iced lemon tea 🍋🥤, which was perfectly refreshing – not too sweet, not too sour.

The only downside is that the restaurant is quite small and gets packed 🪑🤏, so seating isn’t the most comfortable, but I guess that adds to the “authentic” vibe.

Overall, 4/5 ⭐ – definitely recommend if you enjoy Asian food 🍜 and can handle a bit of spice!

Absolute gem of a place!

Dropped in five years ago with my husband for a quick bite (no queue that time!) before catching a train and we were hooked from that first, perfectly flaky roti canai. Later moved to London and their insanely flavourful nasi goreng became a favourite post-work dinner.

Tonight there was a wait, but the service was fast and the food as good as ever. No nasi goreng… because they felt the last batch of rice was overcooked. It’s rare that a restaurant says they can’t serve a dish because it’s not up to their own standards, and I really value that honesty and commitment to quality.

(Finally… the prices are ridiculously reasonable given the quality, freshness and location moments from London Euston!)

Roti King is London’s go-to spot for authentic Malaysian comfort food 🇲🇾✨.

Nonos

Had an amazing time at “Nonos”. We couldn’t fault it for anything, and had an amazing evening. The food was absolutely delicious, with both the pork and chicken souvlaki being very tender and well spiced. We also got the “meze” starter for two which was a great selection of dips to share.
I would highly recommend a visit here, and be sure to book ahead as it gets extremely busy.

A lovely discovery when looking for a breakfast spot alternative to the hotel.

Super friendly staff, lovely airy space with a nice atmosphere.

We ordered coffees, smoothies (kids loved these) a veggie breakfast, french toast and two eggs benefits hash browns (one ham one salmon. All the food was delicious and freshly prepared. The only shame was that we were expecting home made hash browns but it was the freezer ones. However was still a really nice breakfast and I’d recommend.

Walked in here on a Saturday morning because the place we intended to go to had a very long wait. Ended up being a great decision.

It was a very well done breakfast/brunch. We enjoyed everything we got and the drinks were also very good. I’d highly recommend checking this place out if you are in the area!

Had a great experience at Nono’s. Ari and Deni were fantastic; friendly, attentive, and made the whole visit feel easy and enjoyable. The chicken skewers were incredible: juicy, perfectly seasoned, and honestly some of the best I’ve had. Great service and great food. Will definitely be back.

I liked them, and Greek food they serve! I have been there twice, the first one we went with mezzes and the second one with main dishes. I loved each time the food I tried! I especially liked baked feta cheese pastry, which was nice with thin dough. I also liked the kofte (meatball) I tried yesterday evening. Although they serve Greek food, the staff is not Greek and there are non-Greek dishes on the menu. It’s located close to St Pancras/King’s Cross, quite central and easy to walk from the station. The staff is nice and kind, they serve really nice. In the last time, we did not have a res and just walked in; the guy was so kind in preparing a table for us right away. The food is good and nicely prepared and I would say the portions are big anough as well. It’s a good value for quality and moderate pricing. Highly recommended!

The chicken, lamb skewers and lamb chop are halal. Seafood linguini can be halal if requested without wine. However we do serve pork and alcohol in site.

Two fried eggs on chilli cheese toast. £4.90 and AKURI
Spicy scrambled eggs — an Irani café staple — piled up richly alongside 
plump pau buns and served with grilled tomato. £6.90 along with some malsala beans. 
The top dish pictured , AKURI was the best, spicy, flavoured and textured well. The KEJRIWAL was disappointing. The venue is very well decorated and worth a visit to experience the atmosphere. However, is not very good value for money in my opinion. But as usual, I recommend going to experience the quirky environment and judge the food yourself. Make sure to visit the rest rooms.

Dishoom King's Cross

Today went  for lunch & orderefed several different foods, great selections with nice ambients. Place is abit pack. Entrance comes with huge alcohol bar counter, witu 3 levels of dining area. Waiters are attentive and the foods are served fast even though peak hours.
Recommended for good indian vegetarian dining 4✨. Friend ordered lamb Briyani big portion. (for 2 person)
We had ordered Paneer, jackfruit Briyani(good choice 1st time eating jackfruit rice) vegetable grill(not actually grilled but more of boiled type) and they replaced it with potatoes dish(good courtesy of them) Paneeer grill(very fragrant) rotimali bread + Garlic Nan (superb texture) 👌

Dishoom has been on my list of restaurants to visit for a long time and it is safe to say it absolutely lived up to my expectations.

The food was delicious and full of vibrant flavour. The staff were very attentive and the atmosphere in the restaurant was very unique and pleasant. The food came out quickly however we did go on a Tuesday at lunchtime so I suspect weekends have longer wait times. That being said, I would have happily waited longer as the food was THAT good.

We ordered the chefs special which was a lamb biryani, as well as the masala prawns, black daal, aubergine chutney and raita along with a side of roti. By the middle of our meal we were very grateful for the fresh Raita which helped cool our mouths a little from the spice in the rest of the foods and my spicy margarita. We rounded everything off with the crumble, which was very tasty.

I hope to come back again soon to try more if they’re incredible dishes.

After arriving at St.Pancras we we're longing for a good breakfast. I booked in advance to avoid disappointment if the place was packed. I checked the website for specials before arrival so I knew they had some interesting christmas specials. I chose the naan with honeyglazed pigs in blankets one of the specials. It was so good with two perfect runny sunny side up eggs. Combined with my bottemless Chai and a few sips from my daughters mango lassi made it the perfect start of a very busy day. My partner had the full Bombay which you can't go wrong with when you are a big ester and our daughter had childrens size cinnamon pancakes with cream and fresh fruits. All the food was amazing and most of the staff were great. The location is also beautiful. I love how the buildings got made into a new destination!

Fyi I know the pictures of the food might look underwhelming but the flavor explosion is real. I choose flavor over aesthetically pleasing food any day.

The restaurant, ambiance, and service were all truly wonderful, and the food was very delicious. However, the only downside is that the portion sizes are quite small considering the price. I also found it surprising that they don’t offer biryani rice as a side option ، only plain white rice.
On a positive note, they also offered us a complimentary dessert for the birthday, which was a very nice gesture.
Overall, the restaurant is definitely worth trying.

I’m in London solo for a work trip. I arrived around 6 and there was a line of about 40 people. The staff were handing out chai to people waiting in line and taking their details to book them in. The people in front of me were told it would be around an hour wait. After a 24 hour flight from Sydney, I was too keen on that, but when I told them it was just me, they offered for me to come straight in to eat at the bar.

I sat down and was greeted by Stefan who was super charismatic, made me feel comfortable, and took me through the menu, making recommendations as he went. I took his suggestion of the Pau bhaji and Nihari biryani. Both dishes were incredible. The biryani was huge, and served baked with pastry on top. The flavours were intense, with plenty of spice - just what you want in ann Indian meal - and the lamb inside was tender and delicious.

Stefan checked in a couple of times through the meal, addressing me by my name which was impressive considering how many other people he was serving at the bar.  He explained the best way to eat the dishes with the various condiments.

Overall the experience was incredible and I can’t recommend it highly enough.

Our lamb and chicken is Halal. Alcohol is served. Bacon is served on our breakfast menu. Ask a member of staff for details.

YORI Korean BBQ Restaurant (King's Cross)

I chose this place based on its Google Maps rating, but unfortunately my experience was extremely disappointing.

First of all, this is the first Korean BBQ restaurant I’ve ever been to where the side dishes (kimchi, bean sprouts, pickled radish) did not appear to be freely refilled. Considering the £50+ per person price point, this felt unreasonably stingy and completely out of line with standard Korean BBQ dining.

We ordered the most expensive platter for two. No one helped us with the grilling, and while the portion size was acceptable, the quality and flavour of the meat were nothing special.

What really ruined the experience was the complete lack of proper ventilation. The grill had no effective smoke extraction at all, and the smoke simply spread throughout the restaurant. The smell was overwhelming and irritating, making it very uncomfortable to dine there.

To make things worse, I ordered a cocktail and was shocked to find the glass was chipped. It could have easily cut my lips. Neither the bartender nor the servers noticed or addressed this, which raises serious concerns about basic safety and attention to detail.

Overall, this place is overpriced, poorly managed, and not worth the hype. I would not return, and I would not recommend it.

food is decent. authentic I would say. probably 80% to Seoul standard. cannot complain on that part. price is affordable in terms of central London. only thing really annoys me is the table is too tight and spacing is not that good. waiters hits ny chair couple times. Not their fault but the floor design is just too tight. friendly staff overall.

First time trying Korean BBQ. All the meat was good quality and great way to spend time and laugh with friends or family. Service was amazing as well. Did not have to ask for anything.

I visited Yori and tried the beef selection, and it was outstanding. The meat was fresh, tender, and full of flavor, with each cut prepared and cooked to perfection. The whole experience was truly enjoyable, and Yori is definitely one of the best places in London for authentic Korean barbecue. Highly recommended for all beef lovers!

Overall I would not go there again. Yori barbecue selection was fine to share for 2 people and it came with some small garnishes (3 types: onions, cucumber and radish), as well as some salad. It did not even come with rice or any sauces. Most of the meat was not marinated and the quality of the meat was basic, so it was chewy and did not have any special taste. They loaded the meat selection with cheap chicken but only put two shrimps. The place itself was not very clean - the chairs were sticky, and the table was stainy. The pot you cook on of course emits a lot of small droplets and smell and by the end of the evening you clothes will completely soak the smell. That could potentially be a nicer experience with the real charcoal but they only have electric pot. The staff were nice
