Ultra Smashed Burger @holysmokeandburgers. If you guys have been to Cristinas, well the man himself @tiberius_tudor has gone and made his own venture with this smashed burger and smoked meats.

Usually we focus on a decent bun and some good smashed beef in a burger and we don't give much attention to the condiments. This burger not only had bewwdifullyy smashed beef but the gherkins with the red onions made for a sound sound burger. I don't think I'd change a thing with this burger, it's so well made. The exact gherkins themselves were well suited too this as they weren't too strong to away sway from the cheese and meaty taste. It's simple ingredients coupled with the experience from a passionate man which keep you wanting to go back.

It's £10 for a burger which is a bit on the pricey side for me but for many people who've tried it they do think it's worth it - many who have tried it say its the best smashed burger too, tough to disagree, it's a top notch burger.

They have accommodated for Ramadan and are open till 2 am some days, it's a burger that's gotta be tried.

Let me start by saying the guys serving at the till are top lads, helped us with our order and even suggested the perfect portion for us. The smoked ribs were by far the best I’ve had - juicy fatty and smoky. The brisket loaded fries were my favourite, the sweet and hot red chilli on top really made it for me. Each and every item individually was perfect - the fries, the brisket, the rib, the bbq sauce, even the pickles & chilli. I will most definitely be going back for more.

We recently visited Holy Smokes BBQ in London and had a great experience. The place has a relaxed, welcoming vibe with that classic smokehouse feel. The menu is focused on hearty barbecue staples, and the portions are generous. The brisket was tender and flavorful with a nice smoke ring, and the ribs were well-seasoned without being overpowering. Sides like mac and cheese and cornbread balanced things out nicely. Service was friendly and attentive without being pushy. Overall, it’s a solid spot if you’re craving authentic barbecue in London and want a laid-back meal with plenty of flavor.

Absolutely incredible food, we went here for my friend’s birthday! And what a choice it was, we all enjoyed the food, the vibes and the people. Was a great spot, tucked away in the middle of nowhere. Food was so tasty and for a really fair price, considering its in London.

The most incredible food I’ve had in a long time! The meat is the juiciest, slow cooked most tender flavoursome meat I’ve ever tasted. You will not find better brisket! The short ribs have so much flavour! Crispy seasoned fries and a selection of perfectly paired sauces. And the chicken burger had the perfect amount of kick and crunch! Trust me, you need to go here at least once!

Very good, will return again. They clearly do most of their business through delivery apps and therefore there isn’t much seating available and it’s in the middle of nowhere. The short rib was the stand out but I was a little disappointed in the brisket loaded fries - brisket not the best and a bit dry. I might have missed this on the menu but it might explain why they don’t do brisket on its own. Would like to see them offer bbq trays

There are mixed reviews but my experience was superb. I had two different burgers and animal fries and they were moist, well cooked, full of flavour and the sauce was very generous. Melt in the mouth style stuff, and the service was execellent. It's literally a little burger bar in a converted 20ft container but it works! (Plenty of eating adjacent)

Avoid this chain of Restaurants they are rip off merchants! The food is bland and disgusting and what you see advertised by food influencers isn’t what you’re served in reality! The owners of this small chain of burger joints haven’t a clue about smash burgers. An absolute joke! How is these restaurants even open lol the burger buns are soggy the meat smells funny and when you order a double patty smashed burger it looks more like beef crumbs lmaooo the chips are nasty and how on earth can they justify £5 for a glass bottle of coke! Even in west end restaurants at best they cost £3.95!! Please boycott Bun Sum stop ordering from this chain they are rip off merchants! The owner should change the name from bun sum to bum some 😂😂😂😂

Can’t comment on atmosphere, but this burger was far from good, not even okay. The patty was tasteless, almost dry.  Overall the sauce overpowered the flavour. I had extra bacon added to my burger and it was terribly chewy and hard to swallow. Lastly, the fries were dreadful , dry chewy , it seemed as if they weren’t cooked well.

I believe this is the worst burger I’ve ever had. Meat felt like rubber and tasted off. Loaded fries were just sad. I had a big surprise, I’ve never seen packaging like that and thank you for that experience I guess

Buddies London - Tower Hamlets

I visited Buddies after seeing their TikTok videos, and I’m glad I did. We tried the East End Burger, East End Wings, Spicy Dip Burger, and the East End Doner, along with an Oreo milkshake.

The East End sauce was creamy with a nice spicy kick. The wings were big, juicy, and had perfectly crispy breading. The fillet burger was huge — honestly, I could’ve been satisfied with just that alone. You can really tell the doner they use is higher quality, definitely better than the usual PFC stuff.

The Oreo milkshake was a hit with the kids. Even though I got takeout, the store itself looked modern and clean. Alhamdulillah, it’s a much better alternative to KFC, and it felt good knowing I was supporting a local business.

I've heard mixed reviews, so I decided to give it a try. When I arrived, the place was quite empty, with only one other customer present.

I ordered the burger meal, which included a burger, chips, two wings, and I paid an extra £0.99 for a drink through the app, taking advantage of a promo. The food was decent, similar to a standard fast food chain, but I felt like I was paying a premium for what was essentially a regular meal. The chicken burger seemed a bit thin, almost as if it had been sliced in half.

While it was a pleasant experience overall, I’m not sure I would rush back anytime soon, especially with the pricing being on the higher side for what you get.

I got the Variety box with the spicy chicken burger naga donner, naga wings and chips. I have zero complaints everything was delicious, flavourful and the portions sizes were excellent for the price. The service was brilliant too especially from Fatima at the till. As big foodies, everybody left satisfied. Highly recommend.

Absolutely banging. The food was cooked to perfection, came quickly and was fresh & hot. It’s rare to find a place like Buddies where every penny is worth it and every bite hits different. The staff and atmosphere were spot on — plus, they’ve even got a sink for customers to wash up when things get messy, which is a proper touch. Special shoutout to Fatima, who was very friendly and provided top-notch service. It’s a long drive from Kent but I’ll definitely be coming back often!

I was genuinely impressed by their kind and welcoming attitude toward every customer. The team was always ready to respond quickly and professionally to any request. This place absolutely deserves a 5-star rating for its outstanding service! 👏
I ordered a meal, and I can confidently say I’ve never had a burger that delicious & the burger sauce was absolutely exceptional. I will definitely come back soon 😋
