An enjoyable food stop after some Mother-Daughter shopping time. My Mum had spotted this place when we arrived, and we’d agreed to try it out when we were done.

When we arrived, we were welcomed warmly by Kamir. Who, despite navigating a migraine, was attentive, happy to give us a quick run down of the menu, plus his recommends. He also still offered us the Express Lunch option—it officially finished 5 mins earlier. (Thank you 🙏🏽)

We both went for the fried chicken sandwich with fries. I chose the green chilli cheese option, Mum went for the original. The original was a bit too saucy for our taste, the green chilli cheese went down a great. As did the fries, hot, flavourful, crispy on the outside and fluffy in the inside.

If we go on another shopping trip those sides, we will most likely pop in again.

Burger 7.5/10. - i alway see images of these THICK big chicken  in the burger but every time i get it tiny hardly any meat but burger it self is good

wings flavour good how ever the wings were old and refried which is abit of a pisstake over 60 quid for this meal and its not up to scratch

12.5 % service charge i dont mind paying this if the food is 10/10 i forgot to have it removed  but bearing in mind the quality of the food the extra 12.5% stings

This is such a great little place. Proper little gem.  The food was absolutely banging! Fantastic flavour combinations; great presentation; spot on!

And the guys working there were absolute stars. I was served by Kamil, while Yayajra and Sai were working behind him. It was my first time there so I was asking a few questions about the menu and got to talk with them while they were completing delivery orders

They made me feel welcomed as soon as I walked in. They made recommendations, were attentive and patient, and just seemed to sincerely want to make my time there as pleasant as possible.

Super friendly. Really approachable. Great food. Couldn’t ask for more. Highly recommend.

Came in at 4pm, so it was quiet, but I was greeted and served by Kamil and what fantastic service! Friendly and happy but not over the top, felt very comfortable as soon as I walked in. I had the chicken and rice bowl and it was DELICIOUS! Hot and tasty, what more could I want?! I will be back, thank you!

All our chicken is sourced from UK farms and is Halal certified. Since removing the vodka from our k-wings. Our entire menu is now Halal.

Made to feel so welcome when we visited. Came here with my wife and mum and they walked me through the food options and I ordered, for £30 there was a great amount of food to feed us all and everyone was so friendly and happy to help us as we'd never tried Somali food before, we'd recommend this place to everyone and regarding the comments about hygiene and a lack of welcoming atmosphere I'm very surprised because everything was fresh, tasted great and the place was well maintained and we felt like welcomed guests and everyone was greatful that we came to take our time to appreciate Somali food and culture ❤️

Best somalian food i’ve ever tasted highly recommend the beef steak and rice and definitely eat in, to all the Bengali’s in the area and everyone else pop in to this shop, it’s a must try, amazing portions great food and packed full of flavour, you won’t leave it feeling hungry and also very well priced. And also perfect for people who go to gym, get that protein in, loads of meats available and also everything is Halal👌

Another goated spot in finsbury park with great Somali food, nice friendly staff as well.  There isn't a menu, so go the the front and ask questions about what they have and what your preferences are. The lamb is quality, and a starter soup is provided as well as a banana for dessert. Portion sizes are amazing and the whole meal costs around £12 which is amazing value for money. Pretty good spice level to the food as well

My 65 year old mother and I popped into this cafe for a coffee, as we had sometime before she could check into the hotel across the road. We were instantly ushered by the waiter behind a closed curtain. It soon became apparently that the curtain was to segregate men and women, as there was another man and woman behind the curtain, and on the other side men only. We instantly left. This café clearly would prefer to live under the Taliban than in a free UK.

I recently had the pleasure of joining a Somali colleague for a meal at Banadiri Restaurant on our way to an assessment. We tried the Sughaar with Haneed, and it was absolutely delicious—highly recommended! As a Pakistani at a Somali restaurant, I felt incredibly welcomed. The hospitality was truly outstanding

I had a dinner with my family. Staff Absolutely lovely. My burger was a bit cold inside Manuel changed it without any problem. I was really satisfied with the food  and the service. Definitely will come back👍 Highly recommended.

Very nice experience in the restaurant.
I went there couple of times already.
The highlight of the visit was the friendliness of the team.
All of them were so happy, polite and helpful.
Food was great as always in Honest.
While eating for the first time noticed the code on the table to sign up for the app, next time we can have free onion rings or chips.
Second time when we decided to eat there it turned out that there is a burger day and we had one burger for free! It was on 25 of August.
Today I went there as I had some side dish to claim for free.
I also wanted to try the new Christmas menu with Camembert and a cranberry sauce!
It tasted amazing, nice combo of sweet and salty.
Nice change to the usual recipe.
I also was impressed by the festive menu as for the price of 21,50£ you can have burger with chips, drink and a side.
I think this is a good price.
So I will keep collecting my stamps on the app till the point I will get free meal 😀and will start all over again.
Unfortunately today something happened with the air conditioning and it was cold inside, shame as it was freezing outside 🥲 but I understand this things happen and are out of control.

Had a great experience at Honest Burgers in Finsbury Park.

The staff were super polite and helpful when I had queries. The server's friendliest really stood out.

The rosemary fries were super tasty and flavoursome. It paired really with the crispy BBQ chicken burger!

I did not even get a chance to order. I stepped in. I said hello may I know if your burgers are halal First girl says yes Then 2nd guy says no.. very poor, the guy got rude after- for no absolute reason so I stepped out and I went to coqfighter instead- next door
I stepped in Coq fighter and I asked same thing- is it halal.. the guy replied in a normal manner yes everything is halal so I picked a burger and I got it. I ordered I waited. Then I ate. Good customer service good food. See you later 🙏🏽
But at Honest burger Finsbury Park needs attitude fixing

I wanted a burger and this place absolutely delivered. The service was beautiful, clean and spacious with great bathrooms as well.

The pricing is average and makes sense - so many fries with the burger and the onion rings were so good as well!

Can you do four instead of three? Odd numbers are so blah. Would go again!

All of the chicken in our restaurants is halal. If you would like to see our supplier’s halal certificate please ask your server when you arrive. Halal products are stored separately with strict processes in place to stop cross-contamination. Halal chicken items are handled with separate utensils and gloves. Fried halal chicken burgers and wings do not share fryers with any non-halal items. Grilled halal chicken breast burgers are cooked on a reserved area of the grill separated by a grill divider. We do not offer halal beef at any of our restaurants.

Lovely place in Finsbury Park. Everything was great - the service, food and vibes generally. Great music too. We really enjoyed the food, everything was so flavourful! We will be back. It was just a little cold but after the food came out, we warmed right up!

Outstanding tacos and wonderful service!

Service over the phone to reschedule booking was nice and fabulous throughout the meal.

The guacamole starter dressed with pomegranate was nice and the nachos were OK.

The seabass and prawns are to die for. The Beef and the pork we decent too.

Tres Leche cake to finish off was was nice thought the cream was a bit much.

I arrive at the resturant around 6pm. It was very quiet, just myself and another visitor. The customer service was absolutely great, staff was welcoming, polite and attentive. However, the food was very basic. I had the beef tacos and they tasted underwhelming, cold and bland. I came on a Tuesday which is 50% off and I still didn’t feel the tacos were worth £8. However, the potions are quite big.

Overall, I rate the food 1-2 stars and service and potion 5 stars.

The birria tacos were amazing, 10/10. I would come back for these.

My partner got the cod and prawn tacos, which he loved, but I thought weren't quite as spectacular. Still, very good.

The churros were okay. Main criticism is that the chocolate should be hot, not fridge-cold! Still high-quality, just not how it's supposed to be.

The prices are quite high - we would not have gone without a 50% off offer, and I wouldn't come back without one. But, if it is in your budget, I recommend going for a cold beer and tacos in summer in their cute, quaint outdoor space (pictured).

Service was good, and the atmosphere was very casual, and very fun. They have a good, fun playlist.

The music is 10/10, just want to start there. I came on a date here and he also enjoyed his. Saying his starter, main and dessert. I would also agree. Everything was seasoned well, the hot sauce was banging. Just felt like the dessert was a little too sweet and I have a massive sweet tooth so that is something coming from me. Would recommend, kind of expensive though.

Our chicken dishes are halal expect for the smoked chicken. Please do ask your servers on the day for options as well.

Zing Zing

Ordered via deliveroo. Food portion is not as large as in other take aways. Small to medium box. The veggie rice noodles + cauli option was good and not as salty as some people are claiming (they probably improved that aspect). The meat option was small and the extra rice you pay more for is not a side but the rice is added to the bottom of the box, meaning that the final serving of meat is even smaller.

Ordered via deliveroo - save your money. This was absolutely rubbish. I dont usually swap platforms but this was so bad it warranted it. Special beef? Microwaved. Singapore rice? Microwaved. Save your money people

Very impressive! We had takeaway but it was just lovely and arrived piping hot in a timely manner. The duck with pancakes is succulent and tasty - not at all dry. The chicken wings had decent kick and the calamari was really good. Very impressive. Not too oily, all crispy, a bit gooey on the stir fry dishes but still a great treat.

Soooo salty. I ordered Singapore Noodles. It said chicken with prawns. NO PRAWNS!!! 3 small bites of chicken. Huge portion of vermicelli. Very bad! Never again. Also ordered mushroom toast. It was toasted alright, burned, flamed. Horrible!!!!

I’ve previously had good meals from Zing Zing but the recent meal I had was awful. Cheap greasy cold overpriced food that could be bought for a fraction of the price they are charging. Paid £6.50 for extra wings and got 3. I could buy a fully cooked chicken for £6.50 so getting 3 wings was an insult.

Our food is Halal. There is no Pork on the menu and the Duck is not Halal.

Going Greek

Going Greek was recommended to me by a Greek. Who was I to refuse?

The restaurant had a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, and the staff greeted me warmly. I was impressed by the high standards of cleanliness on display and you could tell this was a point of pride for the staff.

Crucially, do not be fooled by the affordable pricing, the food is both delicious and authentic. I was recommended a lamb Gyro wrap which cured a deep hunger - the portion sizes were vast.

I return often now. I’m made to feel very welcome, and leave with a full belly.

I visited Going Greek in Holloway and was really disappointed with my experience. I ordered the Bang Bang Chicken Gyro, but there were no fries included, as you can see in my picture. I was excited to visit again since I’d only been once before, but after this experience, I doubt I’ll be returning. Really expected better consistency and value for money.

We found this place after doing the arsenal stadium tour with my nephew and son. We've been to going Greek before at another branch which I've really enjoyed. My son absolutely loves the loaded fries and they have a decent kids menu too. I like it as well, it has healthier options for myself.  The food was delicious and consistent with the other branch we tried. It tasted fresh, tasty and we all enjoyed our food, and it seems good value to me. Definitely be back again.

I've come back again after watching an arsenal match. I ordered the loaded fries for both boys with a portion chicken wings to share and two orange drinks. They absolutely loved it. From the orange drinks and all the food. My son is not usually a fan of sauces but absolutely loved it on ths loaded fries. I had a gyros meal, the gyros was delicious and filling. They give you so many fries its impossible to finish, one portion is enough for 3 people. I love the oregano and they are so crispy even though i was so full i found my self picking at the fries.

It great to come here after the game, near the station and lets some of the crowds disperse before we head home. I think this i our go to place now after the football.  Its good value too especially seeing prices in the stadium.

I went for breakfast at Going Greek London last Wednesday and really enjoyed my experience. The food was fresh and delicious, and I liked it a lot. A special mention to Rasha, who helped me during my visit her service was very friendly and attentive. Overall, a great place to start the day, and I’ll definitely come back again

Dilara Uyghur Restaurant

Been here twice, and twice the service and food was amazing, very authentic Uyghur cuisine.
When it’s busy (especially after Arsenal games), expect some delay on the food, it’s a small team but it’s worth the wait.

I would highly recommend trying the Marjan Qorujisi, Uyghur lamb skewers, large plate chicken (medium can be eaten for 2-3) people. Uyghur cuisine is spicy so remember to ask them to put spice if you can’t handle heat.

The atmosphere was calm and inviting, with attentive service throughout the evening. The food was well-prepared and thoughtfully presented, each dish showing care in both flavour and detail. Everything felt balanced and unforced — just good quality, done well. A place I’d gladly visit again.
