What can I say, I think I might be a tad bit obsessed with Kohi. I’m there like every week. Not only are all their drinks a 10/10, but all the pocket sandwiches are to die for. The design and aesthetic of the shop makes you feel like you’re in a big city and it’s honestly gorgeous. I’m from nyc and I’ve been waiting so long for a vibey coffee shop to open in Blackburn. I’m so glad Kohi did it first because they did it right. I love coming here to do my work and I come so often that I practically live here. The staff are so lovely, they make me feel really comfortable and excited to come back. All my friends in nyc want to come visit because of how much I post them online, it just looks as amazing as it tastes.

Came all the way from West Yorkshire and honestly? Worth every mile. KOHI delivered on all fronts food, service, and calm chill aesthetics. I had the Ribeye Toast, served in the tastiest Shokupan bread. The ribeye was just slightly chewy (hence the 9/10), but flavour-wise? The flavours were flavouring in all the right ways 🔥 The Passion Fruit Iced Lemonade complemented the meal so well which was refreshing, although I didn’t enjoy drinking what was left over on its own, it was made to compliment the sandos. Loved the Japanese inspired concept, the space had a really zen feel, and the staff were super friendly. No wait time, and ordering via the app made everything smooth and stress free. Only downside I’d say is it’s a little hard to get in touch with them. There’s no number listed online, and the one that appears after ordering doesn’t work, which was a bit frustrating. That said, my order arrived without any issues. If you’re thinking of visiting, do it! even if you’re not local. Absolutely worth the trip. ⭐️

Tried Kohi for the first time today — the coffee was great, and the toast sandwich was amazing! I went for the classic egg one. It’s not your usual toastie — the bread itself is something special: crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy inside. The flavours were simple but perfectly balanced. Definitely going back to try more! First time trying this place, the drinks were nice and the aesthetics of the place were great! However, the customer service wasn’t so great, it would put me off going again. No how are you or even a smile and I thought the north was supposed to be friendlier? The drinks were made quickly and service efficient. But the people skills, it definitely needs to be worked upon as it did let the experience down. The place is small as well, not many tables so when it’s busy it is hard to find somewhere to sit!!

The coffee was genuinely one of the best I’ve had — smooth, rich, and clearly made with care rather than rushed. You can tell the baristas know what they’re doing, and the attention to detail really shows. The space itself is perfect whether you’re meeting a friend, getting some work done, or just taking a quiet break. Everything felt clean, relaxed, and thoughtfully set up. On top of that, the staff were friendly without being overbearing, which made the experience even better. This is definitely a go-to spot and somewhere I’ll keep coming back to. If you’re looking for great coffee and a lovely atmosphere, this place is 100% worth a visit.
