We came here for a bite to eat after the Christmas markets, and we expected just a standard burger and fries but this place exceeded our expectations. The food here was incredible and high quality. Everything tasted 10/10 and the price wasn’t mind blowing either. It’s got quite a decent location aswell and the vibes inside are good. Would definitely recommend if you want actual good tasting food.

I had a great experience at this restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious — especially the chicken burger. OMG, it literally melts in your mouth — what an incredible flavor! However, while we were waiting for our burgers, we noticed some were served freshly prepared and hot, while others had already gone cold by the time they reached the table. That was a bit disappointing. The service could use some improvement to ensure all dishes arrive hot and fresh, straight from the kitchen to the table. That said, I still highly recommend this place — especially for the chicken burger. It's a must-try!

I tried this burger place in the centre of Edinburgh and absolutely loved it! The burgers were amazing, juicy, flavourful, and made with really good quality ingredients. The fries were excellent too: crispy, well-seasoned, and the portion was really generous even for a small size. The atmosphere was cosy and relaxed, and the staff were friendly and quick. Perfect for a casual dinner with friends or a quick bite while exploring the city. Definitely one of the best burger spots in town! 🍔

We have been coming to Butta Burger for years, and while it was closed, we found it hard to find anywhere else nearly as good. After many months they have reopened in October 2025 and we are happy to report everything is still delicious! We had the truffle chick burger - generous size, chicken was moist, flavoursome and crispy. We also had the giant wings with hot sauce, perfectly crispy with delicious batter & sauce. The truffle, parmesan and rosemary salt fries is the best, a generous portion and fresh toppings. Service was friendly and attentive. Absolutely one of our favourite places for fried chicken/burgers/chips. There are also milkshakes and waffles which we will try next time.
