Amazing atmosphere, great food, great service. We came because my mom saw her her favourite vlogger recommend it. So we literally flew here from Singapore for my PhD graduation ceremony in Oxford and took a d-tour to come to spice village. It was worth it. We had the chicken tikka masala, chicken tikka, Chapli kabab, butter naan, tandoori parata, and halwa poori. We had sweet lassi and a mocktail. The halwa poori was amazing. And they do a Sunday breakfast deal that is crazy cheap. Chicken tikka and chicken tikka masala were good. They have both the creamy and less creamy (desi) version if chicken tikka masala. If you want UK's national dish, go for the creamy version. Their chapli was decent. Good but not great. Very visually impressive. A but too overdone for our tastes. Crispier rather than softer. But this can be a matter of taste. We also ordered the sweet lassi. It was too watery; would not recommend. We saw some people order mango lassi at the table across us. The texture of the mango lassi seemed a lot more left. So maybe go for that. Overall a great place. The prices were affordable. I wold recommend this place!!

This place was utterly awful. I ordered a cocktail for £7.99 after waiting for about 20 minutes it finally came, I kid you not the martini glass came only half full. It was basically lychee juice filled halfway in a martini glass. I was gobsmacked. Secondly we ordered butter chicken. Good grief if I wanted plain yogurt sour chicken I would of asked for that. It also came luke warm and looked like chicken in a bright orange paste. The naan? You mean biscuit. It was so thin and the bottom was as crispy as a poppadom. All in all don't waste your money. There are plenty restaurants to choose from . Leave this one we'll alone

As a regular visitor to Spice Village with my family, I can honestly say this restaurant continues to impress us every time. It’s become our go-to spot for both casual dinners and special occasions — and for good reason. The service is always outstanding. The waiters are friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming. They remember us by name, make us feel at home, and are always happy to accommodate any requests. It’s that personal touch that really sets them apart. The food is simply incredible. Every dish is full of flavour, beautifully cooked, and served hot and fresh, everything is consistently top quality. You can tell that care and passion go into every plate. They even tailor the food customised to your spice and preference. Spice Village isn’t just a restaurant — it’s an experience. Great food, excellent service, and a warm atmosphere that keeps us coming back week after week. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic cuisine and a place where families are truly welcomed. – Rafi Ahmad

Amazing food and service! I was visiting from California with my family and I wanted to stop to try out this place since I’ve heard so much about it. The chicken charsi was on point, naans were perfectly crisp from outside and soft from inside, mint mojito was also great. My absolute favorite was the pani puri!!! Presentation was astonishing!! We ended with delicious authentic kheer. The service was excellent, Ashraf and all the staff were all very kind. I highly recommend trying out this restaurant in your in the area!!

We came here all the way from Los Angeles. The food taste very authentic and felt like a true Pakistani experience. Nice and vibrant atmosphere inside. Definitely recommend the charsi chicken.
