Fantastic food! Everything was fresh and really tasty, the mixed kebabs are awesome and the mixed mezzi is full of flavour. The hummus and breads are lovely. The plaice was really nice also. This is the second time I have been and I would certainly go again! Definitely worth a visit and not overpriced. Highly recommend!

White British homeless guy will approach you with a leaflet saying this restaurant is Halal, whilst you are being seated he will take his commission and disappear. You will try to place an order from the leaflet instead will he told this is for takeaway order only. We placed order for 4 Sandwiches, it took them 1hours to make them, on other hand orders were being sent out for delivery one after another. We received a bill for our order which was £5 over charged. Reached home with the takeaway order, both naan and kebab were badly burnt had to through them away. DON’T TRUST THEM. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY. REPORT THEM to Food Standard Agency immediately if you have experienced similar missue at this place

Absolute tourist trap! We were lead in by a guy on the streets shouting 'Halal Food!', who most probably got commission to bring us in to the restaurant. The staff were polite, and sat us down on a table upstairs. We looked at the menu and it was very misleading. There was a picture of a platter on the menu, we asked which platter this was so we could order it. The waiter told us this platter didn't exist, and all the platters serve only one person (their price being around £20 each!!). Hungry for some food, we settled down with an overpriced baby chicken. We waited some time, until the waiter comes and tells us this dish isn't available, so we ordered some marinated lamb chops, only to be told again that they also weren't available! By now we could tell that they wanted us to order a big dish for each of us, but it really wasn't worth the money as each dish was overpriced (a small dish of houmous for £5??), so we ended up leaving, and instead grabbed our food at a sushi place nearby. Even having not tried their food, we wouldn't recommend Al Maskoof, it was a bad experience and some of the portions were definitely overpriced.
