It's been a while since I've been to @gokyuzu_restaurant_chingford I was heading to IKEA and was hungry so Stoped by for a quick fuel up. The prices have definitely gone up, platters are now start at £47..has the food gone better.. No, in my opinion it's actually not as good as it used to be. Pictured is the mix kebab priced at £22, chicken shish, lamb shish, lamb ribs, chicken wings and lamb adana kebab, served with complimentary bread, yoghurt and salad. Venue is great, large spacious, parking and family friendly. All food halal. Alcohol present. I paid for the meal. .

Stay tuned for loads of competitions starting tomorrow. Didn't have time to post it today!

Turkish spread 😍 from @gokyuzu_restaurant_chingford 👌🏼 love the Sarma Kuzu Beyti here, which is Adana kebab wrapped in lavash bread with cheese, sliced up, drizzled with tomato sauce & butter and all served with yoghurt and bulgar 🤤 in the back is the full platter which is great for sharing- it comes with a range of grilled meats, plus rice and bulgar 🍚 Gokyuzu is definitely a go to joint for a family dinner, as the food is reliable, atmosphere is nice and the restaurant is really big so can accommodate large parties 🙌🏻#halalfoodlondon #gokyuzu

💷: Depends what you order but around £20-30 pp
🚘: Free car park at the Chingford branch
🕌: No place to pray at Chingford branch, Finchley branch has a prayer room
⭐️: Really nice & clean restaurant, although can get busy on the weekend. Complimentary bread, salad, cucumber dip & Turkish tea is also given. Great service too!

Gökyüzü Restaurant

Wow I really recommend this restaurant.  Its busy but great food and service.   Didn't wait long for a table. Be careful when approaching the turn off from the A406 it can be easily missed so slow down or it's a big turn around to get back.
Turkish restaurants have gotten very expensive in recent years so it's something I don't do regularly. For 2 people we paid £103 for a 3 corse meal .

Platters are HUGE and cooked to perfection with amazing flavour.

Nice ambience in the restaurant.
Food was fresh (every single time!).

The menu has a great variety of dishes. Something for everyone.

Really enjoy the food. Frequently return. Great for couples, friends, families and large groups, birthdays etc.

Arda and his team are absolutely fantastic! The food is amazing and there was nothing to fault. I will be back again soon! Thank you so much to everyone and their kind hospitality!  Best bbq guys ever

Had the jumbo platter & it was a knockout of a feast, full of flavour n the meats were fresh n juicy! Ended with the lush kunefa dessert n tea!! Best n top tasting Turkish by miles! 👊🏾😋

We went out to celebrate a birthday, and everything went just as expected — smooth and enjoyable. The food was great, arriving on time and cooked to perfection.

We requested to sit outside since the weather was lovely. While the staff let us know they couldn’t offer full table service outdoors, they were kind enough to let us sit outside, which we really appreciated.

The service was excellent, with friendly and helpful staff. Honestly, there was nothing to fault — it was a great experience overall and a lovely way to spend a special occasion.
