If you are craving a Turkish takeaway, trust me when I say, Efes is the place to order and nowhere else! You can trust this place for quality with your eyes closed. I have been ordering for years and it is consistently great. I am never disappointed. I ordered my favourite lamb ribs, you get 7 chunky pieces, they were fresh, meaty, well seasoned and cooked perfectly on the grill. Served with delicious Turkish rice done as it should be, the most delicious homemade chilli sauce which I love so much ( I must say my only complaint is that they don’t give enough of it, its too small for the meal). You also get a grilled pepper and tomato, garlic sauce, lovely bread and salad. The portion is generous and served piping hot. I just love Efes. When you think Turkish food think Efes ❤️

(Update: Added two more photos of our food on the 2nd visit within a month!) We'd been wanting to try this Turkish restaurant in our neighbourhood, and I'm so glad we finally made it this evening! We ordered the mixed döner, hummus, and pita bread. Everything was delicious - the pita bread was especially fluffy and tasty! We were also treated to complimentary salad and tea. Rony was very kind and attentive, checking in with us throughout the meal to make sure we were happy with both the food and service. It was such a pleasant dining experience, and we'll definitely be back! On our 2nd visit, we had Ali Nazik (finely chopped lamb shish) and Sarma Beyti with chicken. Both were very tasty!

Great service, quality food every time. Toilets very clean. Complimentary tea to finish off the meal. A polished and respectable establishment. Highly recommend.

Cute found in Canning Town. The food was really nice and so was the service. Roby did a very good job looking after us.

We visited for lunch on a Saturday, shortly after it opened at noon, so it was still quiet. As you walk in, there's a display case showcasing prepared foods and uncooked meat skewers - everything looked fresh and ready for the day. Our order included stuffed vine leaves, chicken and lamb shish (served with rice, bread, dips, and a side of salad), and a lamb shish wrap, which came with chips. While the stuffed vine leaves were fairly average and I think the wrap could’ve been softer, the meats were cooked well. The chips deserve a special mention too; they're the classic, old-school kind and really hit the spot.
