Tried this place since I see it a lot, they have many branches. I had the smash burger which i really enjoyed. Service was great, the young boy was very polite, didn’t get his name sadly! & food was also piping hot.

I ordered here two days ago, worst food of my life. The chips had hair in and was uncooked, the beef in the burger was thin, burnt and way overdone. The food smelt horrible Id never eat here even if it was the last food place on earth. The only Smoky thing about this burger was how burnt it was.

Went for lunch offer and was quite disappointed. The burgers are small used to go to Smoky Boys for their lunch meal deals but haven’t been for a while as we are never on that side of St Albans. Went today and was disappointed with the whole meal. So ordered two burger meals and wings. It was a small burger and probably a handful of chips. Previously the burgers were big and the chips would come packed in the box. The lunch meal deal was £9.95. Also paid full price for the wings so not part of any deals and they were small niblets only 4 pieces for £6 absolutely shocking price for small wings. Such a disappointing meal. Service was good until I noticed how the English customers were given larger portions of chips with the same lunch meal deals and this was twice whilst we were sat in the restaurant. Smoky Boys need to sort out their service and treat all customers equally. Also offer sauces with the meals and get some proper napkins and not hand wet wipes.

I visited Smokey Boys in St Albans and had a good overall experience. The food was fresh and nicely prepared—the Smoky Chick burger stood out as the highlight, full of flavor and really satisfying. The Southern Fried Burger was okay, but not quite on the same level. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxed, which made for a pleasant dining experience. I did find the drink options a bit limited.

Ordered the Brisket burger.... and this is what turned up. It looks and tasted like it was cooked weeks ago and stored in someone's pocket. Ridiculous food quality for something that is charged at £13.50 for just the burger. Not to mention all the food on the order was cold when delivered. You couldn't pay me to eat this stuff again.
