Pizza Union Aldgate

The pizza… absolutely amazing! The dough was light and perfectly crisp, the tomato sauce tasted fresh and homemade, and the toppings were high quality. I ordered the Calabria.
Service was fast and friendly, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality you get.

Great pizzas at great prices. Classic thin pizza bases with generous tasty toppings. Prices kept down due to the self service and there seemed to be a constant queue for ordering. But you really can’t complain as it’s good fun, fast and buzzing atmosphere due to the popularity. I’ve had better pizzas but not better prices!

Unfortunately didn’t get to try my pizza due to poor hygiene by the staff. The presentation of the pizza as well is not great as I asked for ham, some spinach and rocket. I didn’t get any ham (even though I paid extra for it), and got a whole bag of spinach and rocket instead. The staff member was on her phone while the pizzas were cooking then got them out and used her hands to put toppings on mine and other peoples pizza without washing her hands. I was really looking forward to this pizza from the reviews but because of poor hygiene and a whole bag of salad dumped on the pizza I was unable to eat the pizza.

Service is quick and efficient – order at the counter, grab your buzzer, and within five minutes your pizza is piping hot on the table. Staff are friendly but don’t hover, which fits the casual style perfectly.
