I had completely forgotten that Mowgli is a chain, as I ate at the Leicester location a few years ago. My meal at the Mowgli in Manchester was delicious. The service was excellent. I was torn between two dishes, and my server was able to give me great information that helped inform my decision. The food was great. The service was great. It's a well laid out space. Enjoy!

we had the street food sharer: yoghurt chat bombs, fenugreek kissed fries, tiffin sharing roulette (assortment of three curries and rice chosen by chef), and roti bread. we also got coleslaw. i loved the yoghurt chat bombs, and the coleslaw was amazing. the fries and roti bread went so well with the curry. the food here was really amazing. i really liked the fact the curries were chosen by the chef, as it gave me a chance to try something i wouldn’t have normally chosen (the like paneer), however when we were served them i would have liked to be told what they were! the staff were friendly but the service was unfortunately very slow, with the drinks coming out after the food. the curries were lovely but missing that kick. this doesn’t take away from how delicious they were. if you are not a fan of spice but want to enjoy a curry then i would highly recommend this place. even if your curry needs a bit of a kick i still highly recommend, just don’t be expecting anything hot.

I regularly visit the Mowgli in Leeds, so whilst away on business in Manchester I thought I’d try the one in the Corn Exchange. Every member of the team I dealt with, including Ubayd and Bob, was warm, welcoming and efficient. The food arrived in good time and, as is always the case with Mowgli, tasted delicious. I had the lamb, temple dhal and roti breads, with a Mowgli Twister cocktail and a warm brownie and ice cream for dessert. The atmosphere was great and I’ll definitely come to this Mowgli again.

Given Mowgli's 4 stars because the service was not that great, it was a Sunday afternoon when I went there and the place was not crowded, the waiters took long to get our order and to bring the bill, the person serving us seemed OK but not friendly. Otherwise, the ambience passes the vibe check, and the food was delicious. Also location wise, it's a 5 out of 5.
