A great place to grab lunch that serves South East Asian-inspired soups, salads, rice boxes & breakfasts. Recently prices have crept up slowly on the rice boxes so they can be a little bit expensive however they’re incredibly tasty! The weekly soups are also wonderful in the winter months and there’s always a good variety of these each week. Definitely one of my go-to places if I want a consistently tasty lunch!

Had the Vietnamese chicken and sweet potato soup. Disappointing quality and does not look anything like the pictures online - the sweet potato is chopped very small with a rubbery texture to it as though not fresh (meanwhile the picture online shows large cubes of sweet potato). No other type of potato, unlike what the ingredients list suggests. The chicken again chopped very small could barely feel it in the soup. Will not try again.

Very disappointed! They call it Japanese Miso Cod but it’s full of South Eastern flavours with lots of coriander and chilli on top of coconut flavoured jasmine rice, which is nothing to do with Japanese cuisine. I didn’t even taste the miso on the fish :(

The tastiest soups and great staff too. All the soups are consistently good and there are no issues with servings getting smaller over time. I’ve been to several branches over the past few years and I know I can rely on Nusa to fill the gap at lunch. They’re always happy to give you a taste of the soups before you commit to buying one which is always nice. Keep going guys! Well done.

So I never really liked soup until I stumbled across Nusa Kitchen. But I have now been converted. Nusa is by far The BEST place for soup in the city. If you get here anytime after 12.15pm beware there will be a long queue to get your soup. They change the menu every week and let you taste their awesome flavours before you decide what to go for. Also u might think soup - u aren't gonna fill up - not true they portions are sizeable enough and is plenty for lunch! I come here at least once a week and have never been let down.
