Giggling Squid - Wimbledon

Went for lunch with a couple of friends and had a great experience. We ordered a couple of set menus, which came with smaller portions of four different dishes—perfect for sharing! We also had Pad Thai and Beef Soup to share among the group.
The food was absolutely delicious, and the portion sizes on the set menus were just right—not too much, not too little. Great variety and balance.
The atmosphere was lovely, with pretty decor and a relaxed vibe. The staff were friendly, attentive, and clearly dedicated. A nice little bonus: they even have insulated takeaway bags, which is such a cute touch!
Definitely recommending this place to friends.

Incredibly tasty food, huge selection of choices, and gorgeous setting! We went to a Giggling Squid in Brighton 3 years ago so was great to try the one in Wimbledon and it did not disappoint - even better than I remembered!

Delicious food and great service from the waiting team, some of our food came out a while after the other. For example rice 30 min after the curry had come out and reminders that it was missing, but we were so busy with everything else we had ordered it wasn’t too bad. I would definitely come again - very kid friendly as well! My toddler now loves spring rolls and pad Thai

I love the food in a Giggling Squid, hence why we came here, I’ve never been to the Wimbledon one despite it being close to our folks. I would definitely go there again.

I shared a selection of starters with my wife and in-laws, all were very good and extremely tasty.

For main I had the Melt Beef, as recommended by the server, this was brilliant, full of flavour and perfectly cooked as I have come to love about this chain.

They had an amazing beer on selection called the Mad Squirrel which I think was unique to this branch which I really enjoyed and I didn’t think it was too expensive either.

The service was a little lacking to begin with, we waited quite a long time for our drinks, but they got better throughout the experience. I wouldn’t say it was so bad it ruined our experience and I would be happy to come back.

The decor is just beautiful and makes you feel very light and relaxed, you’ll understand if you go.

Lamb and chicken in all our restaurants is halal. In the wok we cook all meat separately, one at a time, cleaning the wok after every use. Chicken and pork are cooked on the same grill but in different designated areas. Chicken and fish are cooked in the same fryer but not together. We do not cook pork in the fryer.
