Mei Mei

I wouldn't know about this place if it wasn't for Uncle Roger. Ordering food is very convenient, as you can do it just by using the touch screen ordering device. There's only a couple of meals to choose from, but it's enough. The restaurant specialise in Hainanese Chicken and Nasi Lemak. I tried both and it was truly awesome. Although the portion are a bit too small. We came on Sunday, expecting huge crowds, but ordering takes a couple of minutes and another five to get your food, so it was super quick. I'd love to come back to try Char Siu Pork. Great food and service, a real must-try food experience!

The food is alright. My chicken rice was tasteful albeit not even being warm. Kaya toast was yum, reminds me of home but, very pricey.
As a tourist - it’s suffice.

I notice other comments about not accepting cash being tourist. Yes I always carry cash with me but that’s a pathetic reason to give a venue low rating. It’s called a Travel card that doesn’t have international transaction fees, it’s not hard to google to find out about it.

I love the food and drinks at Mei Mei! Especially the Iced Bandung! 🌸 When I fly to London, I go there at least once. The Hainanese Chicken Rice is not simply rice with chicken, it‘s more than that. 😌

One of the best places for Singapore food. Tucked away in the lovely Borough market.
The food was INCREDIBLE. Highly recommend the Chai Sui Pork meal with chicken broth rice, fried egg on top their chilli oil yummmm (if there is one thing you get make it this one) and the fried chicken was utterly delicious 🤤 . The milo chocolate drink is fantastic. I’ve also ordered online via their shop and utterly love the kaya toast. I’m a massive fan and will keep going back. Fantastic service and super lovely staff.

I recently tried the Hainanese Chicken Rice at Mei Mei, and it was absolutely delicious! The dish was wonderfully tasty and incredibly flavourful. A definite must-try for anyone looking for Singaporean flavours.
