The place is absolutely breathtaking there’s no doubt about that; however, I found my coffee to be very average and the red velvet cake was just so disappointing that I couldn’t enjoy it even though I wanted to. The sponge was super dry and bland. The frosting was overly sweet and the cream cheese tasted like nothing instead of have a rich, creamy and slightly sour taste to contrast with the sweetness of the rest of the cake.

I’ve been to a couple of EL&Ns now and this is by far my favourite. Even though it’s in London it’s nice and quiet so you never have to wait for a table, food and drinks are amazing, service is great and helpful should you ask for anything specific. My 9 year old niece had the best time, so it’s not just for adults either!

Service was pretty bad. Spent ages trying to order our food via the app. Not one person came over to check we were OK or try to take our order in a different way etc. 20 plus minutes waiting on food mid afternoon, was practically empty. When approached, we were advised by the staff that food normally takes about 15 minutes. Shortly after that our food arrived. Food was decent. Not the best of the bunch - recommend the one EL&N which offers afternoon tea. They set the standard and this branch like one of the others, falls short.
