Sea bass is really great too. Very tender. Two large pieces in one serving

The salad and avocado toasts are delicious

Crispy calamari does let the side down. I did choke on it :(

Review long overdue!

I first visited in October 2019 and I've not been able to stop going.

Food is great, prices are reasonable and most importantly the service is amazing.

Wish I had discovered this place earlier. There aren't many places like this in the area, especially if you are after halal food and it makes a good change from all the takeaway food at restaurant prices that we seem to have round here!

Great place to go for lunch. The lunch menu is brilliant, plenty of options at very good prices.

Extremely good steak for a vry reasonable price. Similar to other restaurants in the area, it can get very busy on weekends so definitely worth trying to book beforehand. Otherwise, great options for steak here.

The Steak Restaurant offers an extensive fully Halal menu, that's available on request. With both owners being Muslims, and one the restaurant's long serving and dedicated head chef, the menu shows pedigree and ambition.

While there's no doubt that the steaks are of good quality and well executed, they were, by and large, relatively underseasoned, though nothing that can't immediately be remedied.

Additionally, the menu, where possible, is made inhouse, with an impressive dessert menu which, given the trio we tried, was extremely good.

If you're in Harrow's Hatch End, then The Steak Restaurant should certainly be your first point of contact.

Main - Rib Eye/ Fillet of Seabass
Side - Grilled Tomato and Mushrooms Skewers
Dessert - Apple, Pecan & Cinnamon Pie/ Classic Crème Brûlée

All our Halal meat is certified and is prepared with separate chopping boards and knifes and booked in separate pots and pans. Our Sunday Roast is Halal.
