Spent the weekend wandering around Chinatown with friends and got completely drawn in by the amazing smell coming from Monga Fried Chicken. I’m a sucker for a proper Taiwanese-style fried chicken, and this place did not disappoint. The chicken cutlets are massive—literally bigger than my face—perfectly crispy on the outside and unbelievably juicy inside. The plum-flavoured one was a game-changer, slightly sweet and tangy, balancing out the richness. The signature spicy chicken was addictive, packed with flavour. Even the wings were top-notch—crispy, well-seasoned, and super satisfying. Definitely pairing this with bubble tea next time!

I ordered the Chicken nuggets with plum seasoning and the Fire Dragon Bubble tea. The chicken was fresh, crispy and hot! Extremely delicious plum seasoning to give the chicken a sweet flavour. The fire dragon bubble tea was average, there are better bubble tea spots in China town. However, overall this shop is known for its Taiwanese fried chicken and it was amazing! There is a window sill and a high top bench but the shop is very small with no seating area.

Giant Fried Chicken! It's made with a whole piece of chicken breast, but very juicy. I have tried Plum and Wasabi, both are great. Highly recommend combo A, chicken+drink+French fries.

It is absolutely delicious. 😋🤤 I was so surprised by the portion size as well; you literally get half a chicken. 🐔🍗 This is a must-try. 👍

Placed an order via Deliveroo. Spicy chicken and salt & pepper seasoned chicken pieces. Considering it was delivered to my door step, the chicken was tasty and not soggy. Their house special chili sauce was nice as well. The chicken piece was relatively thick compared to other places I had. Overall, it's good but I wouldn't rush myself to place the next order any time soon.
