“Halal Chicken at Bone Daddies St James Street”, did you say?! 😱

We absolutely love soup noodles and ramen so a visit to Bone Daddies was crucial! We ordered the Tantanmen 2, which consisted of chicken mince, pulled chicken and veg in a chicken broth with noodles. We felt the chicken mince could have been cooked a little longer, but the actual broth was delicious 😋 The dish included a clarence court egg in the broth, which was so good and cooked just right with a slightly runny yolk! We also asked for the Chicken Katsu (can’t go wrong, right?!) but didn’t enjoy it as much as the Ramen. We like Katsu with potatoes and carrots, but this dish came with a whole lot of cabbage 🥴 For starters, we got the Fried Squid and Crispy Chicken Bao, which we both enjoyed.

My yakisoba is dancing! From @bonedaddies in St Christopher’s Place (the geo tag is wrong) Not sure how the flakes where moving but at first I thought something was alive. Bone Daddies serves halal chicken only, which includes the chicken stock for ramen. Pictured is the chicken and prawn.

Bone Daddies Bond St

Enjoyed the ramen a lot. Warm and flavourful!

I ordered the Chicken Cock Cock. The fried chicken is tasty, soup is slightly saltier than what I prefer but flavourful!

The noodle base is thin noodles, and the texture is good. Oh and the bowl is warmed up so the soup doesn’t get cold easily, which I really appreciate!

I added 3 sides and they’re definitely worth the price. I love the crispy duck, and pulled chicken.

I also tried their soy salted caramel soft serve. It’s not too “milky” but still get that smooth texture. And the sweetness and saltiness is controlled just right, not overly sweet or salty!!!

Had a bowl of tonkatu ramen with a thick broth and a good portion. By the end, Osho offered me an ice cream. A quick lunch turned out to be such a nice Saturday treat. Last but not least- a great playlist. Will come back!

Due to a change of suppliers our meat is no longer Halal and all fried food is cooked in the same oil.
