Local chain grilling burgers on charcoal and serving them with mocktails, fresh juices and shakes

Over the weekend I went to check out @bandofburgersuk with their new location in Walthamstow, which was the former home to Brioche Burger one of the ex-elites in the game. Fair to say that Band of Burgers have picked up the Baton and are keeping the bar high.⁣

I checked out the new lanuch menu, featuring a selection of starters and burgers. First of all, a note has to be made with the quality of ingredients on offer. Beef used in burgers Is 35 days aged grass fed Angus and Aged Wagyu as well. Only Organic produce are used, no processed cheese here, they use fancy cheeses from Brough market working with Jumi cheese. ⁣

Unlike the other locations of band of burgers, this restaurant uses a flat grill to cook their burgers and if you have read my best London in burger blog post, you know that's the only type of burger I'm interested in. It makes for a juicier, fatter and tastier experience. ⁣

I had pretty much tried all of the burgers on offer, my favourite were the big cheese and the Mexican. Great flavours, that melted fat taste that I love, soft sweet bun, a all round good burger. ⁣

I have to say, even without a discount the prices for great for the quality. These are premium burgers at good prices. ⁣

Oh the mocktails and milkshakes (I liked the strawberry) are really good. Even the wings were on point. ⁣

If this is the launch menu, then I'm excited to see what the full Menu looks like because the burgers are 🔥. ⁣

We had visited the other Band of Burger branches before and didn’t particularly enjoy them, but this branch is completely different!

I know it’s a pretty big statement, but this place might just be our favourite burger joint! Honeslty, the burgers are on another level. Naimul ordered the Wagyu This Way, which consisted of moreish wagyu beef topped with gorgonzola dolce and truffle honey bacon 🤤 I asked for The Mexican- but this wasn’t your average mexican! It included chilli raclette cheese and a spicy tomato relish, and the guacamole was so good 😍 Naimul has had mexican style burgers before and hasn’t enjoyed them so he was reluctant to try it, but he didn’t regret it at all! The Onion Rings and Chilli Con Carne chips were mouth-watering, and it was so refreshing to eat dirty fries that weren’t just smothered in cheese.

Band of Burgers is back...in St James Street.

Ordered today. Same quick service few changes though not necessarily for the better-

The fries are listed as home made, whilst they are crispy they are not home made or home cut fries- all uniform in size and clearly out of a packet. Tasted nice enough.

What the kids really loved about Band of Burger was the chicken burgers-succulent and outrageously crispy at the same time. This time they weren't crispy and we're a little dry in the middle of the burger.

Nice enough but deffo a step down from the previous high bar they set.

This place NEVER disappoints. Food is always fresh and satisfying. I feel it’s a testament to the people making it. Whenever my friends and I think “hmm where should we go today for dinner?”, often we end up at BOB 🥰

What an amazing place for proper Burger at such a reasonable price. Been there several times and they never disappoint. Fresh and quality food. If you’re after a Good Burger, this is your place to be! P.s I am not a food blogger.

Totally disgusted with the food Quality this weekend.
BOB did not meet their usual standard. I know we are going through some cost of living crisis but should this really impact on takeaways and fast food outlets? 2 out of 4 of our burgers where abysmal. Chick's on fire & Brown butter smash burger. . Chicken one wasn't ever edable  n the smash burger looked like a kids burger. Never going to order again. Disappointed.
