@thunderbirdckn looks delicious on social media so we were excited to pay them a visit. But (as you guys can clearly see) the burger wasn’t dripping in cheese, the cheese was actually hard and stodgey. It tasted a little off too... the same cheese was on the chips so we had to pick it off 🙂 The actual chicken was moist and coated well, the rest of it just wasn’t great!

Thunderbird Fried chicken

Thunderbird Fried chicken is more than just simple fried chicken, their variety of sauces, flavours and even smells make this a place to check out.
Coming in I was greeted by friendly staff at the till, helped me make my decision on what to try out, though for 10 wings the £9 price tag was a bit steep but you forget all about that as soon as the food comes as its presented so beautifully and tastes amazing.

The rustic interior decor and feel brings a NYC feel and this restaurant is a great addition to Brixton.
Keep it up guys and I recommend everyone to check them out.

Amazing chicken, even the Vege burger is great. The salted caramel wings have to be tried!

Oh my god this chicken is so good!! Crispy on the outside, moist on the inside and the chipotle buffalo sauce is a perfect accompaniment!

I'm giving 5 stars because I think wings are fantastic. I'd recommend them over anything else on the menu.

I got the one-piece box. The chicken was tender but the fried coating was too hard and lacked much flavour. There were also parts that weren't coated so they very tough by virtue of being in direct contact with hot oil. The chips were good, chibuffalo sauce was OK (a bit too fruity for my liking though), and the salted caramel shake was delicious. However, they could really do with a wider straw because it made my mouth hurt trying to drink the thick milkshake through the one provided.

All of our chicken in our London restaurants and kitchens is sourced from halal-certified suppliers and certificates are available behind the counter. We sell alcohol, but we do not use it anywhere in the cooking process. Please note, chicken at our Parkdean Resorts franchise sites is not halal.
