5* food at this restaurant featuring re-invented Turkish classics. The aroma of fresh bread is recognizable by walking near the venue, which is hidden behind tall flowerbeds. I loved the Iskender: lamb pieces were juicy and tender, portion is generous but not excessive for one person, limited butter which is good for your health. Service charge includes complimentary homemade bread and olives. The restaurant has many covers to serve, so be patient about service, although the wait was more than reasonable on Sat lunchtime. Highly recommended for tourists.

Came here wanting drinks and dessert. It’s large and spacious which is nice. Unfortunately there are specific seating areas depending on what you want. Tableside service should generally be given where you sit. We were asked to move tables just because we wanted dessert only. We received a cold reception from the first waiter, and were directed to another section of the restaurant. The second person to help us with dessert directed us to a deli style fridge with a small selection of desserts and salads on display in the same fridge. He looked irritated that he had to help us and was rather unwelcoming. Quality of food and drinks were disappointing. Desserts were unfortunately true to the display as they didn’t taste fresh and lacked taste. Hot chocolate was extremely watered down with minimal hot chocolate and more foam than anything else, estimating a ratio of 30% foam. Quality of service and food where definite lows with much room for improvement.

Grilled lamb steak was nice - tasted good and was tender. Prawns were also good. The lamb shank was falling off the bone but it was lacking flavour. The food was okay but compared to other Turkish restaurants I’ve been to, I was a little underwhelmed and kind of wished I’d gone to one of those (sorry). The cocktails were lovely though and our waiter was attentive. My companion asked if they could make me some sort of traditional cocktail and they did, which was lovely. Not many people eating at the restaurant when we visited so very quiet.
