What a lovely place. Great atmosphere as soon as you come in. Very welcoming. Our waiter was really nice, music was good in background, food was amazing.

Food was not piping hot. I had veggie burrito which looked and tasted fine but I was expecting it to be much hotter in temperature. Within a few bites it was only warm. The black beans on the side was the same. My friend enjoyed one of the curries which looked good but again she said her food was not hot enough either (temperature wise) Good value for the cocktails but warning , their Margaritas were sweet, (there shouldn’t be sugar in it) but they offered them to be remade with no sugar without any problem. Service was very good. It’s a busy place with lots of parties so atmosphere is buzzy and lively.

From the moment we arrived, the staff couldn’t have been more helpful or accommodating. We were a group of six adults, a toddler, and two prams with newborns—and every single team member made us feel genuinely welcome. Special shoutout to Toina who was absolutely brilliant: friendly, funny, and fantastic with our toddler and also helping to destress some frazzled parents! She brought such warmth to the table and made the whole experience feel personal and relaxed. The restaurant had a lovely buzz—busy, lively, but still easy to chat and connect. The layout was perfect, and we never felt crammed or rushed. Our food arrived in great time, tasted delicious, and paired perfectly with the 2-for-£15 cocktails, which were an absolute treat. We also had a great chat with the manager, sharing how refreshing it was to be in a space that truly understood and embraced family groups. It was clear that inclusivity and genuine hospitality were part of the culture here. If you have young kids, or you’re dining with a larger group, I highly recommend Las Iguanas Southbank. Warm staff, great atmosphere, delicious food—what more could you want? We’ll absolutely be returning.
