We visited pizza express on Saturday 8 November. We were served by Donna who was such a lovely waitress. So happy and kind and was even a good sport when we asked her to play a trick on our mum! Thanks Donna for making our experience so much better !

I attended with my family and give this place a 5 Star review. Excellent service from all in particular the manager Mr David. He was very attentive, led by example with his work ethic, positive attitude and welcoming manner. The food tasted superb and was clearly very fresh. A great variety of options were available and the atmosphere of the restaurant was lovely and harmonious. I would highly recommend this restaurant to all.

And extra star for Donna who take care of us all time and make us visit very lovely… I must say I’ve been in quite few pizza express places but this one surprised me pizza was nice cleaning and very tasty so extra thanks to kitchen and to Chef! Well done guys!;)

Absolutely awful experience at the Southgate branch!! Had booking and waiter stood in the middle of restaurant and called is over sat us down with menus. Not even been 5 minutes and he came to get our order, we were still looking at the menu! We went for the 3 course dinner deal, he then decided to give us a different menu for that. Why not give us that in the first place! Ordered our meal. 1 starter came out and he then came back asking what our second starter was! I mean he took our order so can't he check himself! Still eating our starters and pizzas came out! We asked for chilli oil he SLAMMED it on the table. Not happy disgusting attitude and appalling service!! Asked for manager and explained what had happened from the time we arrived. Manager apologised and told us we aren't the first to complain about this particular waiter and other tables have been complaining. He served us after that. Asked for the bill, in order to get the 3 course deal you have to download the app and add your order there, again not told of this when we decided to go for the deal!! Horrible end to our lovely afternoon out by coming here to eat. Not happy and won't be going back there unfortunately. Big thank you to Duc the manager for looking after us.

Extremely Disappointing Father’s Day Dinner We were very disappointed with our experience today. The restaurant was in a mess from the moment we arrived—tables were left uncleaned, with dirty dishes scattered around, especially on the large round table on the left in the restaurant. It created a very unpleasant first impression. The service was extremely slow. It took around 20–25 minutes just for the starters to arrive. Even worse, when it came to the main courses, only one was brought out, and the rest were completely forgotten. After waiting for over an hour, we decided to leave. Staff were not welcoming at all, and the excuse given was that they were understaffed. That may be understandable, but it doesn’t excuse the poor communication, lack of basic service, and the fact that we were still expected to pay the full bill with no offer of compensation or even a proper apology. To top it off, one staff member had time to throw cutlery into the air and attempt to catch it as a “show,” yet couldn’t make the effort to clean the tables or provide proper service. Completely inappropriate and unprofessional. A very poor experience overall—especially on what should have been a special day. We won’t be returning.
