We had a b-day party at Pizza Express Greenwich and kids really enjoyed the experience. They have made pizzas as part of school programme but this time it was more personalised they said - being able to choose toppings and to eat their own pizzas right away with drinks and side menu like dough balls. Thank you Itziya for providing kids with the amazing, memorable experience!

The pizza party was awesome! The kids loved making their own pizzas and trying all the toppings. Everything was super easy, fun, and delicious. Lots of laughs, good music, and happy little chefs, can’t ask for more! Totally recommend for any kids’ get-together.

Excellent pizza, one of the best I’ve ever tried. They offer a 'Dua Romana' option, allowing you to choose two different kinds of pizza — one for each half. The service is fast and everyone is friendly.

We live locally and hadn’t been to pizza express in over a year because we had such bad service in the past. But today we decided to try it and forgive the staff of the past! That was a mistake! Itziar served us and while she was very nice, she was so bad. It took over an hour for main courses to come and we engaged with many other members of staff to get drinks/order in that time and hardly saw her. Someone else cleaned up the main courses and we sat for another 45 minutes waiting for dessert (children had ordered dessert at the beginning and no one came to ask if adult would like anything or to serve the children’s desserts). At one point, all 7 of us put our hands in the air for 30 seconds to try and attract attention but no staff member saw us! Diners around us were as bemused as we were. Eventually, one of our group, on crutches, got up to find some staff to serve us and even then they just begged us not to leave a review.
With such a great location, I imagine the Pizza Express here does a decent trade but it’s very sad for customers how weak the service is. We won’t be back. Japes (a few doors down) does a better pizza, as does Franco Manco, across the road. And Bill’s next door has the best service in the area so I suggest trying anywhere else first!

PizzaExpress has used halal-slaughtered chicken for several years, but we have never been able to offer a finished dish that was Halal-certified, due to the presence of pork and other non-halal meats in our restaurants and as our kitchens do not operate halal procedures.

Whilst our previous suppliers provided halal slaughtered chicken, it was never our policy for that to be our only option. Since the launch of our Autumn Menu on the 21st September 2021 our chicken now comes from accredited suppliers that use both non-halal and halal slaughter methods, because we have recently increased our sourcing options on chicken to ensure continuity of supply during the current challenges within all supply chains.

Where halal slaughter is used, the animals are stunned before slaughter. All our meat suppliers are approved by the Brand Reputation Compliance Global Standards, a globally renowned safety standard and, all comply with EU or local animal welfare regulations.
