The most authentic Turkish restaurant in London. The food was so tasty and the portions were huge. Sim was so lovely, she made us feel welcome and at home. We want to come back and try even more from the menu. I definitely recommend it

Went to this place as they had a £10.95 lunch offer, and it didn't disappoint. I had the lamb shish and it was very agreeable even though the pieces of meat were too small for my liking. The Borek and pastry were equally tasty so overall good value for money.

Such a lovely restaurant! The hostess was so friendly and accommodating, which made us feel really welcome. We had the Turkish breakfast — it was delicious and great value for money. The best part is they still serve breakfast at 5pm, unlike most places that stop at 4pm. Highly recommended! Thank you xxx

I had a quick pit stop here after a Novara Media event at EartH next door. I had a chickpea wrap with pickles. A delicious vegan treat before a mad dash by bike 5km to London bridge to get the last train. Becasue of the delicious healthy food I made it in record time. Friendly, tasty and good value. Go there.

Food, lahmachun flavourful and plenty of meat on top! Mocktails, very tasty especially on a hot summers days! Sharing platter for 2? More like for 3! Big portions! Everything was seasoned well, really enjoyed the lamb ribs! Can’t forget to include the Turkish salad too, not too tangy, perfect balance. This place is my go to for Turkish cuisine, the food is quality and the price is very good, you go to a lot of Turkish joints now and you’re spending close to £80 for a meal of 4, Istanbul Restaurant has reasonable prices and good quality food. The service you’ll get is also impeccable, from your local regular customers, to the servers (Mehmet) and management (Sulayman)! Complimentary tea ALWAYS offered unlike some restaurants that charge nowadays and sometimes a sweet treat too if you’re lucky!
