Omar's Burgers and Platters (Halal)

It was so great to visit this new restaurant in jamaica. Their menu isnt huge but everything we tried tasted absolutely amazing, especially the burgers. Thw restaurant was clean and the workers were extremely friendly and accomodating, from recommending items on the menu to making sure we were satisfied with the food. We ordered the beef bacon burger which was juicy with crisp onions and lots of beef bacon!! It was delicious. Of course we had it with chocolate milkshake and cheese fries. They were really good too! We got chicken over rice as well and one thing i loved was that the salad was extremely fresh. I hate it when the lettuce is soggy or too watery but it was fresh, meat was seasoned and tasteful and so was the rice. They also put pita bread in it without any extra charge!! Yum. Will be coming back again soon!!! Cant wait to try other items on the menu.

Clean modern burger joint with some middle eastern halal specialties as well. Incredible welcome addition to Briarwood. Food was exceptional, service was friendly, and place was new and spotless. Came here for lunch on a Saturday and honestly shocked the place wasn't mobbed. Go here and support this place. It's awesome.

Omar's Burgers and Platters is a convenient fast food place in Jamaica.
The service was great, the food was good to very good, and the setting is cafeteria style. 

The night was hot and humid when K and I went for dinner. I wish there was some AC going or a circulating fan.

The host, chef and owner was very nice.
K and I shared the following.

Lamb over rice with hot sauce and white sauce. 
This was some of the best lamb over rice that I've had! Much better than the Halal Guys.
When I asked Dave, the owner, he said it was because they used fresh lamb. The lamb was fresh tender and so flavorful! The rice was well seasoned and slightly spicy. I would definitely come back to eat this! 

Garlic parmesan fries- these were so good! Crispy, perfectly salted, had parmesan and garlic. It was so addictive! I was stuffed and couldn't stop eating them!

Sweet potato fries- this were good! Crunchy, some were a little over fried.

Farmhouse Beef Bacon burger- this was excellent! Juicy patty, salted crispy onions and crunchy beef bacon! I loved it!

BBQ chip burger- this was good! Burger piled high with chips, lettuce, cheese. It was tasty. Unfortunately, we took pictures first so the chips were soggy afterwards.

I would definitely return to order the Farmhouse Beef Bacon, the garlic parmesan fries and the lamb over rice!

Chicken sandwich was good, burgers were ok, need seasoning, fries were very good, fried pickles were good, jalapeno cheese fries were good, atmosphere a little on the bland side, need warmer lighting
