I was recommended this Indian / Middle Eastern restaurant by a friend, it was quite authentic and had some attractive menu options. the Curry had strong flavour but the chicken tikka was a bit dry, and the portion sizes were surprisingly small for the price. very friendly and reasonable staff~

Small diner hidden on a second floor, price is super cheap after the set menu. However, it gives more of an Indian chaa chan ting vibe, including the poor service and localized flavour of the curry. Would not visit the second time during dinner time, coz I’m usually looking for a more welcoming and authentic experience, think those in TST are better. Lunch would be more reasonable if you are working in causeway, for the price tag.

Great, authentic Indian food 🥘 kind and fast staff. Got the set dinner & it was very satisfying! My only complaint is the mango lassie was mango juice but whatever

Not a great place to go for a good curry. They’re not interested in authentic taste or giving you a good experience. It seems to be riding off the location near Times Square. The white meat was dry or slightly undercooked. The masala curry was watery & oily. The butter naan was the best dish (8/10) and the beef brisket (7.5) in the masala dish was pretty good too. I’d recommend going to Deli Club in Chungking Mansions or Queens Road Market in Sheung Wan for Chautari Restaurant - both places are 9.5/10 for Indian food.

Went to this resto, recommended by my brother, with my colleagues for lunch. . I ordered Lamb Curry with Nan. The lamb was truly tender and not too fatty. It absorbed the flavours of the curry nicely, but the portion was a bit small. The nan was served hot and delicious with butter. Dipping it in the curry enhanced its savoury taste. My colleagues ordered Fish Curry with Rice and Chicken Korma with Nan respectively. The fish curry was soft, while the chicken korma was meaty. I personally preferred the creamier chicken korma. . The lunch set included coffee or tea, and didn't have any service charge, so the price was quite economical. The seating was quite comfy and there were not a lot of ppl.
