I visited Haz Bishopsgate this week with a group of eight colleagues for an early evening booking. The restaurant was reasonably busy, and we were seated upstairs quickly which was a good start. There was a brief wait before we managed to get someones attention for drinks, as our first request was missed, but once the waiter came over things picked up. Fresh bread, olives and drinks followed shortly after. We ordered a mixed starter platter and had asked for the vegetarian items to be served separately for one colleague. This was acknowledged, although everything eventually arrived across two platters rather than fully separated. Not a major issue, but worth noting. For my main, I had the Chicken Shish Kofte which was soft and succulent. The mains arrived promptly, and by this point the staff were much more attentive. It is a busy restaurant and, unlike some places where waiters check in regularly, there was naturally less of that here given the pace and volume of diners. Overall, a good experience with tasty food and the atmosphere you would expect from a popular City restaurant during the evening rush.

Really nice food. The starters and the mains were great. I had the sikander chicken dish. It was really nice. The only thing is that it's very loud when full (as you'd expect) so not the best place for having a full fledged conversation but otherwise really nice restaurant. The meat here is halal.

Popped in for a drink and ordered a snack. Nice bar area, didnt go into the restarant, cocktail was made well, snack was mediocre the one with goats cheese and spinach. I would try the restaurant though as it wouldn't put me off trying it as the spicy sauce was delicious

Good service. Good food. Booked this restaurant for my wife birthday 🎂 had a great time. Love the interior. Staff were great. Very friendly. However, the price maybe a little too high for some. Other than that, we had a great time.

Haz Turkish was recommended to us, and I am so glad we took the advice. We hit the jackpot almost immediately: Happy Hour with 2-for-1 cocktails! My experience began with the Jack Sparrow drink — it was absolutely delicious and the perfect start to the evening. Then the appetizers: the Babaganoush was truly the star of the show. It was incredibly creamy, wonderfully smoky, and bursting with flavor — truly divine. We also enjoyed the fresh octopus and prawns, alongside a side savory potatoes...and the fresh bread is incredibly filling! We were almost too full to appreciate our meals when they arrived. Despite our full stomachs, I was incredibly happy to finally enjoy a properly executed Chicken Tagine. The seasoning with the apricots, nuts, and prunes was spot on, and the chicken was tender. Unfortunately, there was absolutely no room left for dessert.
