Friendly service and knowledgeable when it comes to allergies and dietary requirements. Their fried chicken is gluten free, as are many of the other items on the menu. They seen to be careful when it comes to cross contamination as well. Ordered a large mixed chicken skillet. The chicken was good, moist and tender. It could have used a bit more seasoning. Even though we ordered extra sauce, it was barely enough. Would strongly recommend getting a lot of the jerk coconut sauce. Got the fried pickles as well. The batter was rather thick and they could have had some more seasoning. The blue cheese sauce that accompanied them was rather week.

Lovely experience. Shop was empty. Bought chicken and waffles and a chicken wrap recommended by staff. Deco was nice and the food came so quick I was worried it wasn't fresh. The actual coating on the fried chicken wasn't the best flavour almost quite bland but the consistency of batter and quality of frying was good. Cant wait to go back and try more things one the menu.

First time at Bird - and me and my daughter really liked it. Everything was freshly cooked and all the chicken was cooked perfectly. Crispy, tender and juicy. Shared some Nashville wings - we both thought they could be spicier, but excellent otherwise. Note - the wings are full sized so bigger than you might be expecting. Mac'n'cheese was the only let down and didn't taste as good as the rest of the menu - but still ok. Service was good - our waitress saved me from over ordering as usual!

A great reliable local place for fried chicken. The chicken is delicious and crispy on the outside. The gravy and corn pudding are recommended! Also, order the fried pickles as they help cut through the richness!

Super friendly fried chicken restaurant in Islington, on Holloway road not far from Highbury and Islington tube station. Casual seating consists of high tables and booths. Great menu and plentiful fried chicken. Go for the skillet which has a mixture of cuts, the jalapeno creamed corn pudding is a stand out dish. Save room for a doughnut or milkshake.
