A True Taste of Nepal: Why This Spot is My New Favorite! If you're looking for authentic Nepali comfort food with a fresh, exciting twist, you absolutely need to visit this restaurant. They manage to keep the classics incredible while innovating with their new menu items. The absolute star of the show for me is, and always will be, the Millet Momo. These dumplings are an absolute dream—the texture of the millet shell is delightfully different from traditional flour, giving it a hearty, nutty flavor that complements the spiced filling perfectly. Dip them in the house achaar and prepare to be transported. But the excitement doesn't stop there. Their new line of flavored Chhoila is a must-try. This marinated, grilled meat appetizer is traditionally spicy, but the new flavor varieties introduce complex notes that keep you coming back for just one more bite. It's a fantastic, fiery addition to the appetizer menu. To round out the authentic experience, you can't leave without a Tongba. This traditional hot millet beverage, served in its unique container with a metal straw, is the ultimate comforting drink. It’s warm, slightly fermented, and perfect for sipping slowly while enjoying the lively atmosphere. From my personal favorite momo to the exciting new chhoila and the cultural experience of the Tongba, this Nepali restaurant delivers a memorable and deeply satisfying meal every time. Highly recommended!

Best Indian buffet with reasonable price and mouth watering food. Restaurant environment is good and all the staff members were friendly. Also I saw one pictures which I have attached to my review which was regarding the momo festival which they going to start from coming new year every Thursday. Being a momo lover it’s was good news for me. I will recommend everyone to try and taste the food from Namaste tasi delle restaurant once, you will really enjoy.

Feels Like Home in Jackson Heights 😄 Namaste Tashi Delek in Jackson Heights honestly feels like someone picked up a piece of Nepal and India and dropped it right in the middle of New York. The location is perfect—right at the center of Jackson Heights. No need for any Google Maps headache… just walk around and boom, you’re there. The service is pure Nepali family style. Not the stiff, formal type—this is the “Come, sit, eat properly!” kind of welcome. The staff are warm, smiling, and make you feel comfortable from the very first minute. You don’t feel like a customer, you feel like a guest. I was truly impressed with the Everyday Lunch Buffet 😄 For around $18, you can literally eat like it’s Dashain. So many dishes, so many flavors that your plate gets confused about what to choose first. Everything is fresh, tasty, spicy in a good way, and totally worth the price. One plate becomes two… two becomes regret… but the happy kind 😄 The Nepali snacks deserve their own award. The momo are soft and juicy, the choila has that perfect smoky kick, the sekuwa tastes like real Nepali street food, and pani puri? Straight memory lane! The Indian food is also full power—curries, biryani, naan, tandoori roti, dal, tadka… basically very dangerous for diet plans. And the best part? The owner is almost always there with a big smile. If you say “too spicy,” he smiles. If you say “too tasty,” he smiles even bigger 😄 They truly want to satisfy you always. Either way, you lose and end up eating more. Overall—great food, fair price, warm people, and full stomach satisfaction. You come for lunch and leave with a food coma and a happy heart. Highly recommended!

I have been here once before sometime in December, I had liked their food and service. This time, I was here again for lunch buffet. I loved the food. I had everything from appetizers to biryani, chicken curry, goat curry, palak paneer, kheer, and more. It was just for $18 including tax. I cannot recommend it enough! Thanks to all of the lovely staff and Mohan dai (owner).
