I recently tried Modoo Chicken & Noodle Bar, and overall it was a solid and enjoyable experience. There were definitely some standout dishes along with a few that were just okay. The chicken katsu was excellent—crispy on the outside, tender inside, and served with great flavor. It was easily one of the highlights of the meal. The boneless thigh and wings were also excellent, perfectly fried with great seasoning and texture. If you’re craving good Korean-style fried chicken, Modoo definitely delivers on that front. The beef spicy stir-fried udon, however, was just okay. It had good spice and decent flavor, but it didn’t have the same level of depth or excitement as the other dishes. It wasn’t bad—just nothing memorable compared to the rest. The biggest surprise of the night was the strawberry matcha, which was truly beyond excellent. Refreshing, balanced, and unique, it’s the kind of drink I’d come back for on its own. Service was decent, and the atmosphere was casual and comfortable. Overall, Modoo is a good spot with some standout items. I’d definitely return for the fried chicken and that incredible strawberry matcha.

We were skeptical to dine in as wasn't sure about their halal status. We were really happy to see their menu as it clearly says zabiha halal, they also have halal certifications on display. Ambiance was good. It wasn't that busy. We had bulgogi loaded fries Spicy Beef Ramen Udon noodle Sizzling cheese chicken And blue lemonade, One orange drink and Japanese Soda. Everything was good. Would be coming back to explore their menu. Overall ambiance was good. They do have covered outside sitting along few tables inside. Restaurant appeared clean, staff was attentive, friendly and co-operative. We were able to find parking upfront, not sure how the parking would be on busy days though.

Went for Sunday lunch. The atmosphere was great, and though it’s a small place, it has some lovely outdoor seating as well. The food is consistently amazing; I’ve never been disappointed. The staff are always humble and friendly. However, during my visit, there was only one person working, managing guests and serving food all by herself, which felt overwhelming. I highly recommend having at least two staff members to ensure a smoother dining experience.

This place was okay, but a bit inconsistent. The bulgogi was alright, though the beef wasn't as savory as other versions I've tried. The chicken katsu was also just fine—nothing special. The kimchi was stale, didn’t have that burst of flavor. The real standout was the wings; they were juicy, well-cooked, and a good size. I'd definitely recommend ordering those if you come here. One odd note was that the utensils and glasses were all plastic. For the setting, it felt a little out of place. It gave cheap and tacky. I hope management improves this.
