Buns and Buns is a wholesome establishment. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and ensured your dietary needs are accounted for. The staff arranged for two dishes to be prepared vegan as requested which was very thoughtful. The ingredients were fresh and of excellent quality. The presentation was superb; I recommend this establishments - especially to the vegetarian and vegan community.

Buns and Buns in Covent Garden is centrally located—and clearly priced accordingly. We ordered a £7 bottle of sparkling water, which came at room temperature on a nearly 30°C day. Only after asking did we get ice, which helped, but still… not what you’d expect at that price. We also had two peach iced teas, four (relatively small) buns, and ordered truffle fries as a starter. The buns arrived and were okay—nothing special—but the fries never came. We watched tables that arrived after us get fries with their mains. When we asked, we were told ours were “ready now,” but by then we’d finished eating. Credit where it’s due: they offered to remove them from the bill. Final bill: £60, including a surprise 15% service charge—for average food, warm water, and a missing starter. And yes, the owner will now reply with something about "fair wages" (which should mean that you pay them accordingly, not the costumer), "skilled workers", "pricey location" and "high quality ingredients" as justification. That’s fine. But for the price, we expected a much better execution and experience.

Delicious Halal Spot in the Heart of Covent Garden! Loved this place! Everything is Halal, which is a big plus. Located right in Covent Garden, it’s super convenient. They even have a kids’ menu, which makes it family-friendly. The bao was absolutely delicious — soft, flavorful, and definitely worth trying. Great food and great vibes. Will be coming back!
