Intentionally searched for this spot since it’s Friday. It’s located on the 5th floor of the Islamic Center, and the vibe really feels like a school canteen or cafeteria — simple, lively, and welcoming. The food did not disappoint. ⭐ Fried Spring Rolls – crispy, flavorful, solid 10/10 ⭐ Chicken Siomai – surprisingly good and very satisfying, also 10/10 ✨ Salted Egg Custard Bun – it’s good, but I’ve tried better elsewhere. Just take note: when the place gets packed, some orders may take a while, so a little patience helps. Overall, happy to have this place available for Muslims — a comforting stop for halal dim sum right in the heart of the city. Would definitely return!

Amazingly delicious halal food that you shouldn’t miss! First time seeing a restaurant within a mosques complex and they made sure to prep authentic delicacies with perfection! Travelled from far to have the food and was worth it! Beef fillet with black pepper sauce was bursting in flavours with soft cuts of meat. Wantons was very nice and was a large serving. Lastly, flat noodles with beef! Top notch. It truly was a nice experience and servers assisted well and took time to suggest few dishes and happily served them😊

Islamic Centre Canteen is a very convenient place to enjoy halal food in Hong Kong. One big advantage is that you can pay with Octopus, which is an A+ since most halal food places usually accept cash only. The prices are acceptable, the food tastes great, and the waiters are helpful and easy to communicate with. Overall, it’s a comfortable and reliable choice for halal dining.

This restaurant serves delicious, affordable halal and vegetarian food. It’s located on the 5th floor of a mosque complex, easily accessible by both stairs and elevators. The dining area is simple, with basic furniture and a casual atmosphere, which actually feels very welcoming, especially with so many families around on weekends. Be prepared for long queues during weekends. If you want to avoid the rush, aim for an early lunch. Another advantage of coming early is that you’ll find a wider variety of dishes available. Overall, a great spot for tasty and budget-friendly halal food in a relaxed, family-friendly setting.
