Le Confidentiel Champs-Élysées

We went to this restaurant yesterday and, with a bill of over €115 for two people, we had certain expectations — none of which were met. My husband ordered his steak medium well, but it was neither cooked to the correct level nor did it taste good. My own dish was acceptable, but the side dishes were disappointing and not worth the price. The most frustrating part, however, was how the staff handled an obvious mistake on their end: we were served three tortillas, which we naturally assumed were complimentary starters. Only later did we find out they were actually meant for the table next to us. Instead of resolving the issue fairly, the restaurant simply added the tortillas to our bill — and even expected us to leave a tip for this completely unprofessional situation. Asking guests to pay for the restaurant’s mistakes is unacceptable. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this restaurant at all. For us, it is absolutely clear: we will not be coming back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal here, I got the famous chicken, my niece got the steak. We also had the mini desserts with Moroccan tea for dessert to share - these were delicious. It's a busy restaurant but it never felt loud. Would definitely go back if I'm ever in paris again. Service was really good too.
