My son and I went to Texas Fried Chicken & Burgers on Hillside Ave after a festival. We wanted to dine in, but our food was packed to go. When we asked for a plate, the young lady at the counter mocked us, repeating “plate” in a sarcastic way. We ended up eating out of a chicken container. While we ate, she kept spraying cleaner near our table, and when I asked her to stop, she gave us dirty looks and acted rude. We were also short on biscuits and had to ask twice. The whole experience felt uncomfortable — we were the only Black customers there, and it felt like we were being treated differently. I spoke to the manager, who apologized and said she was new and recently came from India and would be properly trained. Still, the experience left a bad taste. I don’t think we’ll be going back.

Biscuit has mold and better to eat raw potato than your mash potato. Nasty. Never going back cuz it’s not the first time.

Excellent tasting food. Great customer service always! Sara and Ehsan are always very helpful and polite. Very clean restaurant.
