The starters were tasty! The lamb was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The biriani was slightly underwhelming taste wise for the price point. The restaurant has a nice interior that is suitable for nice meals out with family and colleagues. The staff were attentive helpful.

Been twice, once many years ago and yesterday. Yesterday's meal was utterly scrumptious, packed with flavour. The set menu is excellent value although would forgo the dessert next time as it wasn't so good. Chicken 2 way was excellent as was the lamb ghost. Ordered an extra peshawari naan as it doesn't come with many peices per person with the set menu. This too was high end naan. If I'm being critical the poppadom portion is very small. Overall a great dining experience. Service is attentive and friendly.

Service was excellent, the starters were top class. However the main was not great at all. The lamb biryani had no taste and was boring a baby can eat that no spice. The chicken tava was not great at all. Overall I gave it 3 stars due to the very expensive bill and the main was bad.

We had a very enjoyable experience at Grand Trunk Road. Excellent food that was not the "clone" menu of your typical Indian restaurant. My favourite was the Punjabi Murgh Masala, though it must be noted that the Coastal prawn curry was the best prawn curry I've ever had. The service was excellent and all the staff were very accommodating. I would recommend this restaurant unreservedly!

As a Michelin status restaurant I had high expectations. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and taken to out seats by staff and given menus. Throughout our meal they provided an excellent service. We ordered lamb chops and popadam mix for starter. The lamb was exceptionally cooked and seasoned, it was the perfect start to our meal. For mains we ordered lobster and butter chicken with naan and rice. The butter chicken gravy had a very overwhelming cardamom flavor and I could not have more than a few bites, my husband tried to finish it but even he could not manage to do so. Butter chicken is a favourite of mine and I always order it but this one left me very disappointed. It lacked the depth of flavour and richness that butter chicken normally has. The lobster was cooked really well but lacked in seasoning, mainly salt. I asked for some lime and the addition of the juice instantly lifted the flavours of the dish. We didn't order any dessert as nothing looked appealing. Their mocktail was nice but nothing to rave about. It's a nice restaurant but not one I would be visiting again nor recommending to friends and family.
