I honestly didn't have high expectations when ordering from here but I was pleasantly surprised! The Grilled Chicken Burger is delicious, definitely needs more sauce in it though - it's a good thing they gave me free sauce sachets. Next, their Piri Fries are flavorsome, plus they gave me a really big portion that could easily feed 2 people as part of a burger meal. The Chicken Strips and Quarter Chicken were good too but, once again, I do prefer it to be more saucy. This place is certainly on the pricier side which is why I expected small portions and dry chicken. And that is just not the case at all. Will definitely be reordering from here again :)

I visited this place for dinner based on a friend’s recommendation but was quite disappointed with the food quality. I ordered a half chicken, a burger, and a wrap, but none of them met my expectations. The taste was bland and unappealing. The double patty burger especially was a letdown, it felt more like a cheap one pound burger. However, I must say the staff were polite and served the food promptly, which was the only positive part of the experience.

I placed my order on Uber Eats. I had a small issue with one of the items I received but could not contact the restaurant as they had already closed. I called in the morning and they were very understanding and they patiently explained the whole misunderstanding. I ordered 2 loaded boxes and a quarter chicken with peri fries. Their chicken is very moist and well seasoned. I can honestly say this was far better than your average Nando’s. I would definitely order again!! Thank you for your help today!!

I ordered from Five Lads Goodmayes via Uber Eats, and it was a very disappointing experience. The food arrived leaking because saucy items were packed in cardboard boxes, which clearly wasn’t suitable. To make things worse, the chicken was severely undercooked—when we pressed it between our thumbs, it was pink inside, and there was almost blood-like juice coming out of it. Despite this, the restaurant told us, “that’s how it should be,” which was shocking. When we called the restaurant to raise our concerns, the person on the phone kept giving us excuses about why the food could have been the way it was, rather than accepting what we were telling them. Even though they were closed to the public, the person answering the phone was still inside the shop and refused to come to a resolution with us. Terrible packaging, unsafe food, and very poor customer service. I wouldn’t order from here again.

Been a customer ever since they opened (five years) and they’ve never disappointed. Their recent fiery burger is genuinely one of the best burgers i’ve had. Their rice is alright, could work on the taste, make it a bit flavourful. Their full chicken is a go-to, extremely flavourful. Also, their staff is always friendly, especially the store manager, she always goes an extra mile to do more than has to be done.
