Halal Reviews for Nando's Whitechapel

I recently visited Nando’s and ordered the Whole Chicken Family Platter along with a variety of sides: chili mash potatoes, piri-piri chips, regular fries, rice, and a fresh salad. For a starter, we chose halloumi sticks. The whole chicken was cooked perfectly…juicy, tender, and full of flavor, with that classic Nando’s peri-peri kick. The chili mash potatoes were creamy and well-seasoned, the piri-piri chips had a nice spicy crunch, and the regular fries were golden and crisp. The rice was perfectly cooked, and the salad was fresh and crisp, adding a light balance to the hearty meal. The only issue was with the halloumi starter, which arrived after our main course was finished. Halloumi is best enjoyed hot and fresh, so getting it at the end slightly disrupted the flow of the meal. Overall, the food quality was excellent, the portions generous, and the flavors spot on. Just a small note for the staff to serve starters on time…it would make the experience even better.

I visited Nando’s last week and had an amazing experience! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by a lovely girl in a red shirt with a bright smile who seated us comfortably. Since we were quite hungry and ordered a bit more, she kindly arranged a bigger table for us. The food was served promptly and with care. Another staff member, a tall girl in a light green T-shirt, kindly checked in on us to make sure everything was perfect. The service throughout was both professional and friendly. As always, the food was delicious—I especially love the sweet potatoes and corn on the cob! 🙏 Thank you very much for such a wonderful experience. We had a great time!

I came down to nandos whitechapel for a quick lunch, and overall the food quality was great and food was given to us so quickly! Shoutout to those chefs! However, I think the front of house staff could do a bit better, they were not very friendly and looked sad to be there tbh.. There wasn’t many sauces available and it wasn’t that busy, sauces should deffo be more stocked. And cleanliness was a huge issue for sure! The place wasn’t that clean and one of the forks we picked up had a rice grain stuck in it! Gross! Overall the food at this nandos was amazing but a few things have to be fixed!

Good location, good facilities, nice vibe. Food was ok, but the spicy was a bit too starchy for me. I couldn't eat it.
