Ravagh is our go-to restaurant in the NYC/NJ area whenever we’re craving really good Persian food. We always start with the kashk bademjan — the meal never feels complete without it. Some of my favorite dishes are the chicken koobideh kebab with zereshk polo, and my all-time favorite is the khoresh gheymeh. It’s incredibly flavorful, and I love that they add those little fresh potato sticks on top (some places skip them, which makes me sad!). The fesenjan is also amazing. The only reason why I didn’t give it a perfect score is because my chicken was overdone and dry once, but they’ve made up for it the next time I visited Don’t forget to try the Persian martini — sooo good! The service is always fast and friendly, and the ambiance is warm and inviting. I love this place and have been coming here for years. Definitely try out ravagh if you’re in a mood for some good Persian food

We checked this place out after hearing amazing reviews from our friends. Berk was our server and he was so knowledgeable and attentive to our likes and dislikes. We ordered a kabob and a stew- both portions were enormous and he even offered us different sauces since it was our first time here. Then we got the chocolate lava cake which was absolutely to die for. We’re literally gonna be back here next weekend. I can’t say enough good things about the food- it was so flavorful and the stew was super tender!

I had such a wonderful experience at Ravagh Persian Grill in Manhattan. The food was absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and authentically prepared. The service was outstanding, and the hospitality from the manager, Moises Marin, made the evening even more special. He was warm, attentive, and truly went above and beyond. One of the best Persian meals and overall dining experiences I’ve had in NYC. Highly recommend!

Looks can be a bit deceiving, the meat was not dry but it lacked flavor, the rice was tasteless so I showered it in sumac and salt and pepper, and the lamb chops had a tumeric dry rub on it, I was expecting something more savory. Was really hoping I would love this place, I feel like you’re better off going to a Lebanese or Palestinian restaurant.

From beginning to end, our experience at this restaurant was a mess. We had an 8:30 PM reservation but were told to wait outside because our table wasn’t ready. We weren’t seated until almost 9 PM 30 minutes late because the previous guests hadn’t left yet. Honestly, what’s the point of making a reservation if they can’t honor it? Once inside, the atmosphere was off. There was bugs on the walls, which was really unsettling and made it hard to feel comfortable. Then came the food… or should I say, the lack of flavor. Everything tasted bland, like they forgot the salt and seasoning altogether. And for how expensive it was, I expected much better quality. Overall, I wouldn’t go back. Disappointing on every level.
