Don’t waste your time. Food was mediocre. We asked for spicy food and it was very mild. My coconut water(£6!) was mouldy and tasted awful! They totally forgot to bring our mains, the beef rendang came before the rice so we ended up having it cold! Starter was hot and sour chicken soup - sort of like Tom yum soup, chicken had a distinct smell to it like it had gone off. What really annoyed me was that service was so poor, no plates were given, we had to use hotpot bowls from the next table, not sure how they thought we could eat the rending straight from the serving bowl! Waiter also forced us to pay service charge even after complaining that service was terrible, food was cold and not made to preferences, he had the cheek to say it’s not a takeaway and everyone has to pay! Service charge is not a legal obligation. I gave up trying to reason with the waiter, it was pointless, he wasn’t even trying to understand. Do yourself a favour, there’s so many better places around this area!

Loved everything, food was good, spicy, rich and tasty. I had Laksa Bebek, a duck with coconut curry - amazing. And I really enjoyed that mango juice I ordered because the Laksa had chilli in it, pretty hot and spicy dish. My friend had a vegetarian Komplit. With tofu, tempeh and fried noodles. We also took a plate of garlic Pak Choi to share and were very full. It is also one of the places around China Town and Soho where you can get Bao buns with card payments, not cash, which is convenient.

I’m Indonesian (born and raised). The last time I visited this restaurant was in 2004. I’m amazed it’s still here today (Jan 2, 2024). I ordered nasi uduk and nasi goreng with veggies spring rolls. Very disappointed with the authenticity of the food.. Nasi goreng was tasted ok, but not authentic way of serving (missing fried egg). The nasi uduk served with 4 prawns, roasted peanut anchovies, and 2 spring rolls with shrimp crackers - nasi wasn’t coconuty enough. Es teh manis (sweet ice tea) was good.. and the sambal merah and hijau were perfect. Servers speak Indonesian. A bit of the space is rented to Chinese Crepes and hotpot. Overall, it’s ok.. but don’t think it’s good enough :(

We went on Sunday 9:30pm, i have been here few times and always go for the beef rendang, this time i ordered it was just a curry rather than what i normally have maybe i went for wrong option!. but as it was past 10… because they served us late. ( so i Requested time Change so others didn’t get denied) we got lucky they still served us even though the kitchen was closed. we ate until 10:30, it was quiet and nice, and the shop workers ate left overs. Coconut rice is my fav, and the chicken satay is a lil dr, but with the penut butter and soy sauce i absolutely love. Im not confident enough to eat hot pot yet. Heh. They got my sisters order wrong the curry, but she wasn’t a big fan of the food, unlike me. C: I do not suggest the noodles its so dry. Good for halal food. £20-25 per head. Toilets available.
