Recently had the pleasure of dining at Meathouse again (my 4th in 3 months!), and I must say, it continues to exceed expectations! The experience started off on a high note with their refreshing mocktails, which were good sized and a perfect blend of flavours… a great way to kick off the evening. For starters, we opted for the dynamite prawns, and they were simply phenomenal—crispy, flavorful, and with just the right amount of heat. For the mains, I went with the Inferno burger, while my friend chose the classic Fish & Chips. Both dishes were incredible. The Inferno burger was juicy, packed with flavor, and lived up to its name with a spicy kick, while the Fish & Chips were perfectly cooked with a light, crispy batter and tender fish inside. The presentation of the food was also top-notch, making the meal as visually appealing as it was delicious. The ambiance at Meathouse is another standout feature—warm, inviting, and perfect for a relaxed meal. It’s no surprise that this place is quickly becoming a favorite spot for us. The consistent quality and amazing service make each visit better than the last. Being just a short walk from Kings Cross station, it’s super convenient to get to as well. I would 100% recommend Meathouse to anyone looking for a fantastic meal in a great setting. I can’t wait for my next visit!

Where do i begin. Honestly avoid at all costs. The food is barely edible bar the chips. The steak was all rare even though we ordered medium. Absolutely no flavour. We were told it was daily premium meat but i have eaten from plenty of steakhouses to know its clearly not. From my group no one ate more than 5 bites of steak. It was terrible. Now Upon seeing this the owner came over and began to get very confrontational with us, demanding we tell her why we did not finish it. She really made a scene at our table. She began to tell us no one complains (even though the reviews say otherwise) and she tried to tell us off as though a mother tells her children off. A completely baffling experience. Although we did not finish we did not want to kick off a fuss however she had other plans and wanted to be extremely confrontational. She then told us all that she could not separate the bill and would only take payment from one person and that we should sort it out afterwards amongst ourselves. Again speaking to 30+ year olds like a mother to toddlers. Totally baffling experience im quite surprised this place operates in london.
