We headed to Buddha Bar last Sunday. For starters we ordered the Rock Shrimp Tempura and Chilli Baby Squid. The Shrimp was covered in a mouth-watering batter and tasted great with and without sauce 👌🏽 The batter on the Squid could’ve been a little thicker and more crunchy, but we still enjoyed it. We also asked for the Black Cod and Salmon Fishcakes, which were my favourite! The potato didn’t overpower the fish and the breadcrumb coating was deliciously crumbly 🤤 Buddha Bar have an extensive range of sushi, and after much deliberation we decided on the Hokusai Maki. We were certainly not disappointed and it was probably our favourite dish! The Prawn Thai Red Curry had a very strong flavour of coconut which Naimul really liked, but we would have preferred the veggies to have been cooked a little longer.
The atmosphere at Buddha Bar was cool and the restaurant itself is stunning, so it’s a lovely place for dinner with friends or your other half!

Steamed sea bass fillet, cherry tomato, Thai basil, red chilli and lemongrass from @Buddha_Bar_London 
The sea bass was cooked well but the portion was just too small. I also had a taste of my friends chicken dishes and that tasted really good, tender, grilled well and not dry.

Ordered the "Wellness menu" - where for £29 you get a drink, choice of salad starter, main and desert. This displayed value for money so I opted for that.

Starters I ordered the Quinoa, sweet potato & spiced feta salad, the sea bass, with rice (pictured) with Dark chocolate coated strawberries for desert and a Pina Colda to drink which was brilliant, in fact the drinks where all very good.

Service was okay, out waiter explained the menu well and was friendly. It was a friday night so there was a lot of hustle and bustle. The wellness menu is decent value for money, but the A La carte is overpriced.

Visited Budda bar on 6th August 2021.

The decor and design and atmosphere is lovely for family or friends. Lively music and bustling vibes.

7 of us went and the bill came to £550. The starter's wer really yummy and tasty but the mains were not great esp at that price range.

I ordered the aged beef and egg fry rice. The steak was cold and then was replaced but was cold and the sauce was hot. I was really disappointed. All the other dishes were hot. I like my food hot not like it was left out for 30 mins then served.

Other than that the decor is lovely and beautiful the stair case is amazing and alot of people taking pics.

Would recommend the bar more than the restaurant.

Staff were helpful and manager was nice enough too change my steak for a similar warm/cold steak but i didnt want to ask or make a fuss again.

@buddha-bar need to check what happened with the steak on this nighg.

Tried Buddha bar for the first time a couple of weeks ago as all the food on the menu was halal.  We tried the sushi along with Prawn Pad Thai and the Scottish Beef Fillet.  Really good food, especially the sushi.  The mocktails were great and the service was on point.  Buddha bar has good food, good service and a great ambience.  Definitely one to visit again.

Went on v day, we had to book a couple of days in advance. I absolutely loved it. Everything about it was great. The food (from starters to mains to sushi rolls), the atmosphere and the staff were just brilliant. I would definitely recommend it, I honestly don’t think you could go wrong with anything you’ve ordered. However, I wasn’t a fan of the cake but maybe because I’m not really a dessert person.

The sushi was incredible. The beef short rib was flavourful and cooked to perfection. The overall vibe of the restaurant is nice, a bit dark inside for photos but really good service. Not too expensive for what it is, perfect for date night

All our meat is halal except the duck, with alcohol served in the restaurant. There might be dishes with alcohol as well, make sure to ask your waiter/state your dietary requirements when booking.
