China Tang at The Dorchester

Nice Chinese restaurant. I enjoyed the main course more than the starters; the dumplings could have been better. Lovely place with good service. I expected the food to be a bit better, but it wasn’t bad at all.

I'm not a big fan of Chinese food, but it was late and I was so hungry, so we decided to try the hotel's restaurant. Unexpectedly, we loved everything we ordered. However, we wanted sea bass, which was already sold out, so we came back again after a few days. We weren't disappointed, and everything we ordered was nice.

The food was good but not exceptional, the sweet and sour chicken and stir-fried noodles were great. I don’t recommend the stir-fried beef, it was soft but lacked taste. Overall, the atmosphere was great, service was quick, the halal menu was extensive.

Traditional yet modern luxury interior and ambience, excellent quality, separate halal food menu and stellar service. We patron here loyally for under a decade now thanks to the blogger "Halal Girl About Town". From intimate birthday dinners to family celebrations, staff making every visit special for us. You can never go wrong with China Tang.

Good choice for everyone who loves Chinese food on a higher level. Duck was very delicious as was the dim sum.
I would definitely come back. :)
