Slim Chickens offers a casual dining experience focused on chicken dishes, though I found it a bit expensive for what you get. The spicy wings were definitely a highlight—nice and flavorful, with just the right amount of heat. I also enjoyed the honey mustard sauce, which complemented the wings well. The chicken tenders were okay, but they didn’t quite stand out as much as I had hoped. They were decent, but I’ve had better elsewhere. I also tried the fried pickles, which were okay but didn’t leave a strong impression. Additionally, the gravy was underwhelming and didn’t add the richness I was expecting. Overall, while I would consider going back to Slim Chickens, I’m not in a rush to return. The wings were enjoyable, but the other items didn’t leave a lasting impression. If you’re a fan of chicken, it’s worth a visit, but just be prepared for a slightly higher price point.

Ordering was super easy with the self-serve machines, and my food was delivered straight to my table. The staff member was polite and efficient—she even checked if I needed anything else and showed me where to fill up my soft drinks. The chicken tenders were juicy and tender, and the hot honey ranch dip had the perfect balance of sweet and spicy. The toast was nicely and garlicky, and the fries were a solid side. The place was spacious and comfortable. Phone camera isn't the best doesn't do it justice. Great service and great food. I’d definitely return!

This place is great. The chicken is tasty, we had the family of 4 meal which is perfect for a quick light meal for 4. The garlic bread is nice but I found there was too much seasoning on my fries, which wasnt a problem until I got half way through my fries, but then it became too much. The chicken tenders were perfect and moist, very easy to eat. The place was clean and tidy, I used the counter to place my order rather than the screen as there was no queue. The food came out in minutes and there were 6 dips we could choose, they were all nice. The toilets were clean. There is a wheelchair accessible entrance and toilets both upstairs and downstairs.

There’s a very nice ambience and the food was fresh and delicious. The staff were absolutely lovely and the best part about the restaurant. Made the experience so much better than other restaurants. Never too busy and the general atmosphere is great.

We went here for a friend's leaving do and didn't have to book in. They did a great meal deal for £20 for x4 fries, huge chicken selection, x8 dips and x4 fried bread. It's shown on the main screen as you go in and is great value for money. Refillable drinks were great. Enjoyed the atmosphere and the staff were great. Couldn't sit downstairs as no space was available. It was lunchtime and reasonably busy.
