Overall, a pretty pleasant experience. We arrived on time for our reservation and were seated quickly. Just a note for anyone purchasing a voucher online — you’ll need to book your reservation using the voucher details, and there are set time slots specifically for the 5-course menu days. The pacing of the courses varied a bit; a few dishes took longer to arrive than others, but it seemed consistent with what other tables were experiencing as well. Despite the wait times, the food quality was high, especially the Wagyu and seafood selections. We enjoyed the afternoon and would consider coming back for a special occasion.

I come here for anniversary celebration, after seeing it over ig. It’s amazing experience with lovely presentations, and food are genuinely good as authentic Japanese meal, though some sushi rolls here are still very ‘western’. The sashimi are fresh and yummy. Love the hot stone steak as the main it’s not only yummy to eat it’s fun to eat. I definitely will bring more friends to be here.

Anniversary, £75pp menu, 5 courses, last one dessert. It took 15 minutes for anybody to approach us…. Very small portions but great quality of plates, sashimi and seared fish😍half a mochi each and a lemon and raspberry panna cotta (?) for dessert, though. Sushi rolls for third course were amazing. Bill around 210 including three drinks and service charge! Lovely and small interior, Can get smoky when people cook their meat on the hotstone :)

Brought my girlfriend here for lunch for her birthday. The crunchy hot stone roll sushi was very nice. The black cod roll was amazing although a very small portion. I enjoyed the spinach with sesame dressing. My girlfriend said the cocktails were some of the best she’s ever had, we had the Way to Kyoto and Secret Geisha. We also had the seared salmon and then wagyu platter and seafood selection on hotstone. Whilst overall the food was good, we were quite disappointed with the instructions given to cook the seafood selection and wagyu on the hotstone and told we had 6 minutes to cook everything. It was all very rushed and we couldn’t cook everything in time, I even had half a raw prawn because I wasn’t told that the shell had to come off first (it was butterflied so assumed not required) We had to then ask for a second hotstone to cook again. Service would have probably been better if it wasn’t as packed out. Very busy restaurant so quite loud overall. Still worth checking out if you like sashimi and wagyu, especially when they have discounts because it’s quite expensive otherwise
